Was looking for some kind of indoor/outdoor playhouse for my young nephews who have just moved to a house with a bigger garden with the added luxury of a playroom. I remembered the teepees we had as children in the 1960's, the first fashioned out of my parents' bean-poles, candlewick bed covers and clothes pegs and later, a second-hand red and yellow cotton affair, that blew over with the merest puff of wind.Went for this one by Garden Games and it's brilliant; really solidly built with thick dowling poles that come in two parts and sit in pockets sewn in to the base of the extremely good quality and strong canvas cover.The boys love it and on Boxing Day it had pride of place in the middle of their living room.

Yes it does smell when first opened, so we aired it. The poles can be a bit of a pain as they do sometimes come apart and sometimes slip out of the pockets they rest in, so we taped the poles, might glue them. It was a bit un co-operative after getting damp in the garden, but we coped and when it dried out it was easier to manage all over again. Having said all this, I think it is great. We recently saw a plastic one with a base at a garden centre, for a moment I thought we had made a mistake, but this looks more realistic and feels like you are camping when you are sitting in it. I can just about get in with my 2 year old granddaughter, but we lay down with our legs out if necessary!

It is really good value for money. I love the fact that it can fold up really easily. Be warned though it does have quite a big footprint. I like how it doesn't have a built in bottom as I have seen kids push against the insides of tents at playgroup and then the whole thing falls over. Also not having a bottom sheet means that it doesn't get dirty. My only gripe is that the poles can come apart quite easily. From the outside it looks good and the quality of the material is really good too - quite thick.My 2 year old loves it. I have also used it too to hide from the rest of the family when I wanted a bit of peace and quiet.

Fantastic, really exceeded our expectations. The wigwam can be used indoors as well as outside. We have it erected in the conservatory at the moment and it has proved a great hit with a number of children ranging in age from 2 years to 7 years who have visited us along with our 1 year old who goes in with Mum or Dad. Dad is 6 feet 4 inches tall but finds the wigwam roomy enough to sit in comfortably and several younger children can play in there at the same time safely. The materials used for the wigwam construction and cover seem excellent quality, nicely decorated and easy to put up and pack away (if you ever do pack it away). A great buy,

What can I say? My daughter loves this. Beautiful flower and butterfly design. Easy to assemble. My daughter loves to play, read and chill out. I brought, separately, a furry pink rug and lovely pillows to put inside to make it homely and my daughters own space. I also brought some battery powered lights and have decorated the inside of the teepee. She loves it!Good quality wood, good quality material. We get lots of comments from visitors at how lovely it is. We have this teepee in our living room.Ideal for toddler chill out, reading, playing, mindfulness. A nice safe place they can call their own

I looked for a tent for my children for a while and finally decided on this wigwam. It is more sturdy than the traditional plastic wendy houses as the sticks holding it together are wood and strong. It is a good size, fits in my two young children well....and a collection of their toys. Its main advantage is it is very quick to fold up while still leaving it in a built condition. (You just gather the sticks together) Its only disadvantage is it can shuffle along the ground with the children in it, although this isn't a problem unless they crash into the wall!

Love this teepee, I bought it to go over my dogs bed as he likes having somewhere to hide being a typical collie. It looks so pretty in my lounge, I like butterflies so it is perfect. Was so easy to put together, I only have proper use of one hand and I still managed to get it up within 10 mins by myself. It's been up for 2 months and I check it regularly to make sure no poles have come loose so that it is safe for him. When my nephew comes to visit I can take the dog bed out and he can play in it too so it's definitely well used.

Bought for my daughter's 3rd birthday and it's a major hit! Although cheaper than some others on the market ( I had saw some other teepee's online at £150!) it is by no means a cheap product. It was really easy to put together (husband had it done in about 10-15 minutes) and looks great. I bought some LCD star shaped fairy light to go inside it too and it's all come together nicely. Size wise, my daughter and maybe two friends could be in it comfortably. Its plenty big without taking over the room.

I'd been thinking about buying some kind of indoors / outdoors tent for the children for a while and after reading other reviews I settled for that one. Very nice product, the canvas looks strong and resistant. I was a bit concerned initially as the wooden poles seemed a bit warped, but they work just fine and the connectors do their jobs well. I think I'll buy a cheap patch of carpet to set the tepee on and prevent it from slipping on the floor when the kids fool around in it.Recommended item

Just what every young child wants for imaginative games. Easy to put together and made of strong wooden posts and a strongly sown semi-waterproof canvas with an attractive design, so it should last well. The wooden posts make it perhaps unnecessarily heavy (the previous generation had one which used bamboo canes which seemed to last just as well). So granddaughter will need grandad's help to put it up, but that's the consequence of its strong construction.

Cheaper than most tents out there but absolutely worth every penny! It is massive! I'd say about 5 foot diameter and about 6 foot tall? The material is lovely and thick to prevent rips (also waterproof for when you accidentally leave it in the garden overnight!) easily fits 5 small children inside with room to spare. Also easy to put up and pack away for storage which was a bonus! We absolutely love it! Best idea for my daughters 1st birthday present!

Wow what a Gorgeous product and the most amazing instructions! ??Totally blown away, this product arrived next day. Canvas is thick with a bright colourful print and probably the best instructions I’ve ever seen,very easy to put together with just one pair of hands!The packaging had also been well thought out, no unused space inside the box or unnecessary plastic filling.Really good size and great price, thinking of buying another one!

This teepee is very well made with thick wooden poles, and the fabric is thick with very well sown in fastenings. The instructions were not very clear but it was very easy to put together (I did it by myself). My daughter absolutely loves it....and so does everyone else. 3 7yr olds and a 1yr old all managed to fit in there to read stories (no room to spare mind, but would comfortably fit 2-3 children) Highly recommend!!!

We researched quite thoroughly before opting for this wigwam. We were not disappointed, it was relatively quick and easy to assemble, it is well made and sturdy and the canvas is brightly decorated, our 2 year old grandson loved it from the moment it was put up (indoors at the moment until the summer). It has been folded up for storage in the garden shed until the next time he comes to visit. Highly recommended.

Initially i was worried about whether i'd be able to put it up myself but found it to be really easy. the quality is fantastic and my daughter loves playing it it with her teddies or getting cosy under a blanket with the door open in front of the TV. Brilliant for rainy day play. again if i can put it up on my own i'm pretty sure anyone can. Looking forward to getting it outside if the weather ever improves!
