I did a lot of research before purchasing this watch, I was particularly looking for a Master of G Watch and the Rangeman in my opinion ticks all the boxes. Its well packaged by Casio in a tin inside a G- shock box with all instructions and guarantee information. You can register the watch with Casio which enters you into a prize draw which I thought was a nice touch.One of my original concerns was how the watch would wear from a look and comfort point of view. I need not have worried as it sits nicely and comfortably on my 6.75 inch wrist. Its robust and I have tested all features which work perfectly, it charges easily on a window sill and the compass feature is great.

I bought this watch September 2015, and it hasn't let me down once. It's survived hiking in Finland, snowmobiling in Canada, days of biblical rain at a festival and even a full (accidental) wash and dry in a washing machine and condenser dryer!Pros: Incredible toughnessSolar powerLong battery lifeBacklightGood knurling (texturing) on the buttonsCons:The inbuilt thermometer is somewhat useless as it's right next to your wrist (obviously) so the only way to get an accurate temperature reading is to take it off your wrist and leave it out for a while.The barometer and Altimeter, while usable in a pinch, really aren't precise enough to use as anything other than backups.In short,

bardzo polecam ten zegarek prędzej miałem casio GR-8900A i porysowała mi się obudowa i tego już nie można wymienić można tylko wymienić obudowę ta gumowa a tu nie dość ze jakość całej obudowy jest perfekcyjna to nawet jak coś się stanie to wymieniamy cala frontowa ramkę i mamy znowu nowiutki zegarekco do funkcji temperatura, wysokościomierz,kompas, zegar synchronizuje się z zegarem atomowym, barometr super opcja najbardziej mi się podoba można włączyć powiadomienie które działa tak ze 10 min przed deszczem zawsze mnie informuje i działa to bardzo dobrzeustawienia zegarka nie są skomplikowane jak się może wydawać wystarczy zrobić kalibracje sensorów i już można się cieszyć naprawdę jak dla mnie

One of the best tough watches out there. I researched a lot, tissot, luminous etc. But really gshock and protrek win every time. Smart watches just aren't up to the job. This goes on the wrist and never have to worry about it. Mtb, motocross, sailing, mountains, building work, demoloition, covered in mud, , concrete, life, it keeps going. It also beats any of gshocks own analogue hand watches, I choose this over a more expensive mtg because you can see numbers on the face at a glance which is useful when you only have a second to spare. The analogue hand version have such a small digital display they are no good for active work.

These prices are a rip off!! Great watch but if you want to buy one of these watches with the confidence you deserve and at the correct price, then deal with Casio directly. This way, you can be sure to get a genuine product and you won't have to deal with the shady rip off merchants on here who charge extortionate amounts and will often leave you waiting for your delivery for weeks.starting to lose confidence in Amazon fast!

Even though it passed a relatively short time since the purchase, I've to say that this watch is really cool. It meets all my expectations in terms of functionality and toughness. By the way temperature and altitude are not really precise. The former need the watch not to touch the skin while the latter need to be calibrated quite often, when the elevation is known. Comfortable to wear, firm and easily legible.

Love this watch, it's a very close second to the GWG-1000 MudMaster for me. Nit many watches out there with a digital compass, altimeter and barometer. Love the styling as well. All of this and the ability to charge in any kind of light and daily time correction from the atomic clock broadcasts. This one is a keeper!

Superb example from MASTER OF G limited run, good alternative to the frogman if diving not your thing. Instruction manual thick as a beef sarnie ! Nice addition to a growing gshock/mrg collection

Ive been waiting for one of these to add to my other G's, its got everything you could want in a g-shock,i wear it everywhere.so far so good.
