This is a very smart case, with echos of a moleskine notebook with the elastic strap. The cover is hard plastic with a nice tactile cover. It works by having two springloaded hooks that grip two corners of your tablet, and a 'fixed' hook that grips the opposite side. It's very firm, with no danger of your tablet slipping out.I use this with a Galaxy Note, and it's a perfect fit. The only snag for me is the note has a stylus which lives in the bottom right corner of the tablet, and so is covered by the hook. You can remedy this by simpling putting the tablet in upside-down, although this means you have to remember to open the 'book' back to front. Not really a problem. The cover is stiff enough and robust enough to survive a drop, even if it lands on a corner. There are so many tablets size and shapes out there that Case Logic would have been lucky to cover every one, but I would say that most tablets will fit into this. It's an expensive case, but it does feel quality.Very pleased.

The case is a universal fit for 7" to 8" tablets, achieved by fitting the tablet into the bottom fixed clip and opening up the two elasticated corner clips to fit round the tablet.Although there is no padding to the case it is very rigid and should give good protection against knocks, and there's an elasticated band to keep the cover closed when transporting.Fabric is neutral dark grey with a subtle pattern, and weight is 180g.The best feature is the ability to be able to stand the tablet up (horizontal/landscape format) in the stand via clips at 3 different angles - from almost upright down to about 45 degrees. If standing up your tablet is a requirement then this case is a useful accessory, otherwise it may seem a little costly for a basic functional case.

Another trial in my quest for the perfect tablet case - this one so far is the front runner. A nice robust case with spring clips that stretch to fit 7 inch or 8 inch tablets. The fabric has a nice finger-print resist finish (unlike my previous nubuck case which showed new finger marks every day)and looks like it will stay clean and new looking even with regular use. The case folds to provide a 3 level display stand although personally I find using a tablet too long gives me neck ache and I'm still looking for a way to use it at eye level. Perhaps we have to wait for add on vision glasses to give you tablet/phone view at eye level.Currently $1000+ but expect cheaper versions by the end of 2014.

I got this to protect my nexus 7 7'' tablet and its great! The case itself is very solid, and the pattern on the case is also quite stylish too...far more subtle than the product photo suggests (classier if anything I'd say)The case is very easy to fold it out to serve as a horozontal screen support for the tablet, and the tablet itself fits inside perfectly; held in place by 4 very sturdy pieces of elastic in each corner. The case can fit both 7 and 8 inch tablet devices, and is well worth the money for the extra protection it provides.I'm very happy with it!

This case is ideal for a seven inch tablet. I tried it on a Nexus 7 and a Hudl, and it worked equally well on both. It is NOT ideal if you want your tablet in and out of the case....but why would you want to do that?It is simple to fit, tough and durable, and it can be adjusted to fit any tablet, so you shouldn't be wasting your money. Look for a good price, then get yourself one!Decent little case. Not five stars, because it is a bit basic for a thirty five pounds case. If you can get it cheaper, go for it!!!

This tablet case is very well built and offers sturdy protection for tablets. I use mine for my Hudl and it fits quite well. I'm not keen on the pull out hook system. I found it fiddly to use and mostly just prop it into the bottom hook for ease of use. I'm fairly pleased with this product but the hook system lets it down.
