Many users have reported problems with this particular model, which has now been superseded. However, it is still widely available, often for less than £100, making it a potentially fantastic bargain. The main problem that users have reported is with the RAID software that you install from the accompanying CD. I have used this model on my work computer for more than a year with no problem. It came with a default RAID1 configuration, which is what I wanted, so did not need the RAID software. However, I recently purchased a second model for my home computer which unexpectedly installed itself as two independent disks. The RAID software refused to work, saying it could not find the disks!
