Bought for a retro night but have worn on several occasions since just to make a change from my day-to-day scents & mix it up a little.Love the bottle, with the little silver metal 'medallion' - took me straight back to the days of 'Enryy & Kev "splashing it all over"As other have commented, it's a lot better than the 33 version in the supermarkets (especially the aftershave that's just like water) but it's not quite the old Brut I remember from the 70's - although that may not be a bad thing as the original was so overpowering it could make your flares curl.This has the familiar clean barbershop soapiness with citrus top-notes but just not that old in your face power blast sharpness - it's a bit more powdery than I remember.Projection is moderate and longevity 1-2hrs.

Not even closer! I would have given this 2 stars really but refrained out of respect of "Brut".I received my bottle of the Classic Brut an hour ago. As eager as I was to finally spray it and turn my nostalgia-mode on, I was due for utter disappointment. Yes, the fragrance is nothing like the original. I won't say it's watered down but it is missing at least a few base notes from the original.This was a gift for my dad (he doesn't give two hoots about the designer schtuff). Hopefully he will just be happy seeing the good old "glass and chain" bottle. Me, not so much.#### UPDATE 11th May ####Okk.. having the cologne for couple of days I gotta admit - it's not that bad.

The BEST CLASSIC SCENTItem arrived very promptly and very well packaged. This is the closest scent to the original BRUT by Faberge launched in the early 60's. This smells virtually the same to me as Faberge. My mum who loved BRUT in the 60's and 70's said that the scent brought her back to her school days and said she thought it was the exact same scent it was all those years ago. A truly classic and masculine scent unlike the nancy male scents now a days like polo club or Joop. I get much more compliments from this £10 cologne than I do when I wear jean Paul goutier or Gucci. What a fantastic bargain!!!

Back when you only had a choice of 3 scents from your local corner shop, Brut was the only viable option. People poked fun at you when you told them that you bought it but I didn't care because I liked the smell and recall it with nostalgia from the early 80's.This scent took me straight back to Christmas in the 90's and it's amazing how the memories come flooding back.Good, masculine scent that seems unchanged from the original.

I wear this scent to the gym... it keeps me smelling like a boss and also allows me to bang out a few more reps on the bench press. To me, it’s got a very fresh, pine and old school barbershop scent. It’s how I’d imagine Terry McCann (from the 80s tv show ‘Minder’ to smell). It’s a masculine and fresh scent that’s probably dated and old school to most noses, but I’m 87 years old, so I like it. Recommended.

The first spray of the bottle whit shaking hands.... Brought back so many memories. That I actually felt being thrown back in time. The smell is as good as I always remembered it. Even though maybe not as overwhelming as in the good old days. But it could be that my sense of smell. Has gone down the drain a bit. My missus hates it but well worth the hassle guys.........

WHAT DO YOU SAY ABOUT A REAL CLASSIC?? I COULD DESCRIBE THE SCENT, WHICH IS REALLY SPECIAL, BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVEY THE MEMORIES IT BRINGS BACK OF WHEN I FIRST USED IT IN THE 1960'S. FIRST DATES I HAD FORGOTTEN--PLACES I WENT--THE PEOPLE I WAS WITH; THEY'RE ALL IN THE BRUT BOTTLE!

Hands down the best and most unique Cologne available to men. If you’re a person who likes a blend of citrus and spice then this is the Cologne for you. A very pleasant trip down memory lane. Will be purchasing my favourite Cologne regularly.

This is a gift for my dad for Christmas along with other Brut products.He likes the smell.. as does my mum.Only downside was that the box was broken when it arrived.. Slightly disappointing as it kind of takes the edge off this as a gift,

I have been all over to find this cologne < spray version > and i found it,, it is a very good product... In the store all you find is the splash on stuff, i like the aersol stuff... It is the real thing, let me tell you... Good stuff ..

I HAVE TO SAY I LOVE BRUT IT SMELLS LIKE A MAN SHOULD. YOU SPRAY IT ON AND IT PUNCHES YOUR FACE AND TELLS IT TO "ACT LIKE A MAN". I ONLY TOOK ONE STAR AWAY BECAUSE THIS SPECIAL VERSION SMELLS IDENTICLE TO THE DRUG STORE EVERYDAY VERSION.

Very nice classic Brut smell for this cologne. Lasts nicely but not all day heavy scent. It's strong initial contact but mellows down slowly. The bottle looks very fancy but in truth it's a bit slippery. Good buy overall.

I am so pleased with this Classic brut spray, when sparing has strong smell at first after few minutes the smell gets less strong, but last for good few hours, absolutely recommend it if you like classic brut,

It is a classic! Bottle came in perfect condition, spray top is working well and the cologne smell lasts all day. Can't find anything to complain about, not to mention how cheap it is!

This stuff smells great and is a very affordable price. I love when my husband wears this stuff. He doesn't even like cologne but keeps this stuff around because I love it so much.
