This is my first review but I was shopping for frangrances as christmas presents and I thought if there is one product that I have been using for years and love, it is this. I'm going to be honest and say that I have no idea what the ingredients are (another reviewer listed them)- all I can do is describe it as both sweet and spicey and more than a little sensual! How would I know if I smell sensual you ask..? Well, I've been wearing this for years and almost everytime I meet someone new (a woman or gay man) they tell me how great I smell. My female friends have started stealing my worn hoodies when they come round and sit there sniffing at the collar with hooded eyes and smiles on their faces (I am not kidding...).

I've been told by some people they can smell me before they see me on nights out. I first bought Miyake in New York way back in 1995 before it was commonplace here in the UK, ever since,I have never been without a bottle.Its unmistakable smell is pleasing on the nose and goes down well whether you're using it to go into work. out for a meal and the inevitable night in town (Which was like wearing catnip back in the nineties)This is the 200ml bottle which is 75mls bigger then the next size bottle (125mls) meaning you are not only in essence, getting a bottle of 75ml for pennies, but saving somewhere in the region of £30 just by upgrading to the 200ml.I'll always stick to having Issey Miyake as

So happy, spent nearly a year deciding which fragrance to by so when I bought this I was set on the smell(which I love), I'm more than happy that I ordered it on super savers.On the smell: I already had the After-Shave balm which didn't last a quarter of the time it only featured the fresh top notes meaning it only had the fresh smell, people commented on its citrus smell and retaliated it to lemon, anybody that didn't comment just made a good sound of approval, one person even could tell it was Issey Miyake.The Eau de Toilette last much longer(spray in the morning and you won't need to spray for the day) and over time develops into a much deeper and not so citrusy smell, really good,

There's a definite line in personal products. Some things feel, smell or look, below that line. You just know it, and most times others do too. Issey Miyake is on the other side of that line. From the first time you smell it to the first time a lady accosts you to ask about what it is you're wearing, you know it's far over that line. People will comment. You will feel like a winner. Do yourself a supreme favour and use a good line of anti-perspirant too, like L'Oreal or Nivea men's range. (Nivea do good skin products too.)You could choose to make this your signature scent for the rest of your life, not a soul will complain nor suggest another brand to you. If you do somehow decide you need an 'evening'

This has to be the best fragrance out there. Its such a gorgeous smell, I've had so many compliments (from mainly women) which is something I'm very pleased about. It's a great fresh and floral smell in the morning when you spray it on, then throughout the day it actually changes, mixes with your natural scent and becomes more spicy smelling, interesting smell. Its one of those scents you'd imagine the tall dark and handsome guy in all the films to be wearing. Its a real nice one, and you only need about 2 sprays and it stays on you till the late evening. Gorgeous, gorgeous! Its a must buy for anyone who takes pride in their appearance and smell.

Like I say, if you haven't tried it yet then do so !Lovely lemony fresh smell. Initially strong when you spray it on but it settles down on the nostrils and lasts well through the day.I've been using this for years, and usually in combo with their spray on deoderant, and occasionally still get comments from people saying how they like it.Expensive definately, but IMHO worth the expense once a year for a 'high class result'.If you haven't tried it - do so - or want to buy it blind for someone - then its probably a good move.I used to try the male scents out at the duty free shops at airports when I went on holiday and found this is still the one for me.

Well what can I say apart from what an exceptional fragrance. Issey Miyake will always be Issey Miyake. Straight after spraying some on, you instantly smell Yuzu (Japanese Citron), cypress, mandarin and verbena. An hour or so later, the smell mellows down but still goes strong with notes of nutmeg, saffron and cinnamon. After 6 or so hours the the base notes kick in, tobacco, sandalwood and vetiver! Great longetivity. Last for ages and has a very distinct smell to it. Great for summers and winters alike. I own a big collection of fragrances and this will always be in my collection. Nothing screams fresh like Issey Miyake!

Great scent, very refreshing and much admired by the ladies I meet, though the only one whose opinion really counts is that of my lovely wife!As for the couple of people claiming this is fake, I’m a little sceptical about their claims. Fortunately I had just finished using an older bottle of EDT, so I could compare the bottles, printing and scent. I cannot find any difference and so I’m happy with my purchase. I’m also disinclined to believe the claims mostly because they used nearly identical comments (are the claims genuine or just for mischief?).

So im no fragrance specialist, but I think i really got my moneys worth with this stuff.First and foremost, its not a very masculine smell. I would describe is as more floral than woody, but it definitely settles in well. And the longevity is excellent. I can put it on in the morning before work and people can still smell it on me in the evening. And for the money you get a pretty decently sized bottle. I definitely recommend trying it.All in all, quite happy. I consider this a new mainstay in my grooming kit.

The technical names of the ingredients don't mean much to me unfortunately! But I do know that it seems that 'por homme' fragrances seem to lose their smell very quickly... this is completely different. It smells strong throughout the whole morning and seems to begin fading around midday. But when I get home and change I can still smell it on my shirt so it's definitely still there! A very nice smell, lots of people have commented how 'fresh' it is... well recommended, I'll be using it from now on!

A beautiful fresh fragrance for men. I've been using it for many years and still prefer this original to the occasional summer / sports remixes. I would list it amongst my top five favourites fragrances which also include Prada 2, Aqua Di Gio, Gucci Pour Homme 2 and DNKY Men if you want comparisons or similar fresh smells. It is always nice when people say,' That's smells nice, what are your wearing'. In addition amazon.co.uk are very competitive on price compared to UK department stores.

I have been in love with Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey for as long as I can remember (bought my first in 2004), and I can tell you... no matter what happens, new colognes come and go... but my love for this cologne will never end :).And take my word for it... all the women who have had the opportunity to smell it on me... have loved it... one even bought a bottle for her boyfriend, so loved it that much... AND 298 women cannot go wrong ha ha :).Guys... try it, you will never regret it!

My husband was obsessed with this after getting a sample in the mail so I purchased it for him as a gift.I'm rubbish at describing smells but I'd describe it as a lush, watery, cool scent. It makes me think of showers and rain and fresh soap. I really like it as well, if you like aqua di go or similar scents, you'll probably like this.The lasting power is good and I can still smell it faintly at bed time. The large bottle is great value for money when compared to other shops.

i must be out of sync with things at the moment as i thought Issey Miyake was just a womens fragrance,how wrong was i!. this is a must buy for any man, i have smelt nothing like it ever everywhere i go people are asking me what it is and where did i get it. its sweet citrus smell seem to last forever i can put it on in the morning and still smell it last thing at night before bed( obviously not as strong by then ).i'm glad i bought this and so will you be. great product 10/10

Really unique for a citrus fragrance, it has a kind of sour citrus smell in a really nice way, stands out well from other fragrances of this type, and you won't find a lot of other people wearing it like you would with something like Aqua di Gio. Another thing is that this is also long lasting, which is somewhat unusual for this type of fragrance. It comes across as a very clean smell, and seems really popular with women who noticed me wearing it, so definitely recommended.
