* About the artwork:A nice oil-painting-like cartoony style with some cute / kawaii characters in there (The smiley Hexipals were my favourites!) 5/5 for artwork.* About the story:(Don't worry - no spoilers here :)), the gameplay of the story is divided between two characters, seemingly disconnected, living in two very different worlds and as you play you find out where the two characters' paths will cross. As expected with adventure games, the game involves a lot of chatting to different characters to find out what to do next. The story was... ok. Not quite as amazing and funny as previous Tim Schaefer masterpieces like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango.I found some parts to be a little annoying (especially at the beginning in Shay's "babyish" world) and could have done with that section being shrunk down more than it was. And the ending was a little underwhelming for me. I'd give the story about a 3.5/5* About the gameplay:Most of the puzzles are pretty intuitive and logical to solve. One or two puzzles, especially towards the end of the game, were a little annoying, involving repetitive attempts that had to be done in just the right order. It had me reaching for the online walkthrough for hints and I was very grateful for the hints because I would never have thought of some of the puzzle solutions myself, and for that I'd mark the game down a little. But about 95% of the puzzles were fair and solvable without having to use a hintbook, giving you the satisfaction of figuring things out for yourself. I'd give the gameplay a solid 4/5.* About the running of the game:There was a tiny bug where one of the very minor characters was a little jittery in a buggy way, but it didn't interfere with the running of the game. Apart from that, the game ran perfectly on Windows 7.* About the music:Did the job, but not particularly memorable. I couldn't hum any tune from it for you and I've literally just finished playing the game 10 minutes ago.* Overall:An enjoyable game, though it didn't quite live up to my very high expectations, and I don't think it's quite as memorable as other games I've played recently (I'd recommend "Inner World" and "Machinarium" over this one). Still a pretty good game though. Overall, since the story is the main thing about the game, I'd give it a 3.5/5 (I'll round up to a 4 since Amazon doesn't give half stars).
