We have Brio track here that is probably 20 years old and has seen a lot of use. With a new interested generation growing up it was time to invest in some extra track. OH what excitement! The quality is still the same! The new pieces just blend in with the old and all the kids are rolling their trains along the track. We also have a good quantity of Thomas Clickety Clack track and Brio works well with that also. Yes, Brio is more expensive to purchase than the cheaper brands out there but it is worth it.

My son got his first Brio set when he was 1. He's now 8 and not only does he still have it, its still in great condition and he still plays with it! This expansion was one of many we bought over the years. It's great quality and helps my son to get creative with his tracks. My daughter (3 years) is now interested too, so I think this set will be in use for a few more yearss before it has to retire to the scrapyard!

Adding this set to my sons current collection of BRIO Railway hugely increased the number of different track layouts that we could make - much to his delight. Although there are cheaper alternatives the quality of the BRIO product is far superior. They use top quality Beach wood and not Pine which tends to splinter. If you can afford it then go with BRIO. PS I don't work for BRIO, I just saved up my pennies!

A birthday present for my grandson to add to the Brio train set he inherited from his uncle (now in his late thirties). The original is still in pristine condition so this addition gave more layout options and added to the fun. Obviously from this you can tell that Brio lasts and lasts, so well worth the money spent.

Apart from providing a lot of additional track parts, this pack has a male/male and female/female connector, which means that you can now make circular tracks (if that makes sense).Highly recommended - as always the same solid quality but the additional parts adds numerous combinations to your train set!

Having extra track has made a big difference to how much my 2 year old is using his train set. His friends are enjoying it too and it means several children can play together without falling over each other so much. Would like more curved pieces, but generally very happy with this and would recommend it.

The brio train set is my son's favorite toy, we all love it. This set is expensive, but pretty much a necessary add-on to do anything more exciting than a circle. Worth it in the long run! While I'm here, I've just got to recommend the following brio-compatible products to all train set owning parents -

Bought this to extend a set by, ahem, another manufacturer. Seems everyone is singing from the same sheet as the two systems matched up perfectly and small grandson is delighted that he can now make even larger layouts.(we'll gloss over his mother's views on having even more stuff to clear away.)

Another addition to the little guy's set. Adds a lot more flexibility and very well made, as all Brio products are. Would be nice to have some kind of a tool to figure out how to build the tracks given a set number and configuration of pieces though... Sometimes difficult even for grownups...

Brio is perfect for any child really. Lasts forever, doesn’t break, and allows kids to use their imagination to build elaborate tracks. This pack is great for making sure your tracks have different branches, the little pieces are brilliant to make sure everything joins up.

Brio is a great non-destructible toy (at least only the most dedicated to destruction can really damage it). This extension set increases the options for the child to build tracks and use their imagination in play. Great toy - no regrets. Loved by my grandchildren.

My son loves anything to do with trains. We always opt for brio as our first choice as you can really tell the difference between this and the cheaper stuff. We got this set to go with his collection. It offers a great selection of track pieces all very well made.

This has made our original countryside set much more versatile. The B2 and C2 pieces have proved especially useful when devising our own layouts. The set did not come with 5 layout ideas though, as stated in the technical details.

I bought this to extend the little forest train starter set I had bought for my three-year-old grandson a while ago. it is really good value for money and is very versatile. Made to Brio's usual high standard.

My grandchildren adore playing with the Brio we bought their parents 30 years ago. It takes hammer every day but is as good as new. Bought this pack so we could cover the dining room floor. They love it.
