This is a fantastic toy and will continue to be for years to come. There are so many parts for your child to play with. So happy I bought this for my boat and train mad son. What's great about this is it is stand alone, ie you could buy this and there are some pieces of track with it, although it is better if you have some track already. My 3 year old and I love the magnetic cargo that the crane can raise and lower into the ships hold. So sturdy and well crafted. You won't regret buying this.

Excellent brio set however bridge required modification with blue tack underneath, so the track sits flush when the bridge is down. Hence the 4 stars. Not a problem once sorted, but a surprise for brio to need this. A great set though, train, bridge and boat are great additions to an existing brio set, or great as a standalone set. Three year old son loves it.

I know my grandson will get hours of fun playing with this. Brio has been in our family for 30+ years. Our son and daughters played with it and now my son's son and daughter plays with their Daddy's set! We bought our grandson his own set and it's great that you can buy add on bits to expand it. This add on will give a variety of different play values.

Bought to add to our collection of Brio, including the garage. This is great quality and our 3 year old has had hours of fun. The battery operated train has really held his attention (he’s only had the manual ones before). The bridge and crane are lovely too. A traditional toy which is built to last. Would recommend!

You can't go wrong with Brio sets toys:). I did bought the first set about 29 years ago in USA for my 2 year old son. He was assembling amazing variations of Brio railways till he was about 16 and now he does that for his 2 year old too. Fantastic toy, which will last for generations. Fast delivery. Thank you.

Only complaint about this set is that the gears on the draw bridge make it very difficult to operate. I actually took power tools to them and removed the gear assembly and now the bridge opens and closes easily. It won't stay open of course due to gravity. But worth it for one hand operation of the bridge.

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson who already has the brio train set. He loved this harbour set which can be incorporated with other brio or used independently. He had great fun loading up the cargo and opening the bridge. It also included a battery operated train so excellent value.

My son got this as a present. It's really excellent quality. The battery operated loco is a great addition to his train sets - it can just about get up the sloped rail bits that he already has with two or three trucks attached, but on the flat it will pull several trucks.

We bought this to go with the lift and load set, as an extension, and it's a brilliant little set in its own right. The boat in particular gets hours of play and so far it's held up to two rough little boys and the occasional tantrum. Quality is fab.

Nice, but difficult to keep the open track that comes with this set from parting as it's free floating, but I guess that's part of how Brio decided it would work (how else can they free the boat without uncoupling track?)

My grandson was thrilled to bits with this addition to his Biro train set and has played with it constantly. He particularly enjoys operating the lifting bridge and loading and unloading the cargo.

Due to my kind of work our boys love ships and it is so hard to find anything that is as educational and good quality as this product. Brio should expand on this range!

Brilliant Brio set with the advantage to have both a train and a boat. The bridge can be lifted up and down by a rotating wheel which really makes it an attractive toy!

My little boy loved this set but unfortunately the battery operated train doesn’t work? We’ve tried several batteries. Would it be possible to replace just that item?
