First off, the pictures at the time of writing are a little confusing. There are two differently coloured pens connected to this product - a greeny colour and a turquoise colour - both of which could be interpreted as a jade colour. Just to be clear, the more turquoise coloured pen is the set I received, which is also the colour of the pen on the last picture (with lots of colours and a picture), which is resting across the coloured page. The name of this range of pens, is Intensity Fine and that is a lovely name for this range, but this is not an intense jade colour, it is a beautiful soft turquoise colour and perfect for using alongside our many other fineliner pens in our family's many colouring in books.Actually, this is a really beautiful colour and when used in colouring it gives a really definite colour, which shines out from the page. As a writing pen it is weaker, but pretty. I think my children could use it for revision for writing a word you want to stand out, but a bolder colour might be more useful for that situation - but that does not detract from the quality of these pens, just perhaps this isn't the shade to pick! The box contains 12 pens, but oddly feels too big, like some pens are missing as they rattle around somewhat inside - I think you could fit another 6 pens inside the box - perhaps they miscalculated the size required? Not a massive issue, but it seems a little wasteful.

I will make some observations then give my personal opinion.I compared side by side with a blue BIC crystal pen and a good quality Ball Pen by Sheaffer. This one has a thinner line, and the colour is much paler. The friction on the paper is much much higher. It feels scratchier.Looking under a strong magnifying glass you can see that the colour spreads like putting ink onto blotting paper but to a much smaller degree. The colour of the ball pens looks more even. There is a slight blob at the beginning and end of the line. It is small but noticeable without the magnifying glass. I didn't get that with the ball pens. However, my BIC is new.As they get older they blotch and when they do it is much worse than this little blob. The ink dries immediately. It won't smudge at all.The body of the pen is glossy and feels cheap. The lid fits well and clicks into place.Overall I don't like the scratchy feel and will continue to use ball pens. The pale colour and the felt look of the lines makes it more suitable for informal writing (e.g. love letters) rather than formal (e.g. homework, exams). But if you like this type of pen it is undoubtedly good quality so it deserves a positive recommendation

These are some very nice looking pens. They each have a flourish at the end depending on the colour, and in general look very well made. There are two of each (except the grey and brown), which is I guess because they typically aren't expected to last as long as the standard ink fine liner. They have the feel of a felt tip on the page, if slightly harder, but are cleaner and of course finer, and because they are so light they are very nice to write and draw with. They fill in quite well too, without the soaking of paper that you usually see with standard soft felt tip pens. They are technically a 0.4 tip, though depending on the style of paper you're writing/drawing on, they may seem thicker. On standard plain printer paper they come out with a slightly thicker line than the Muji 0.38 fine tipped pens I was using as a comparison, because of the felt tip style of these no doubt, with wetter ink.At first you may wonder what the real need is for these kind of pens, but after using for over a week now I really do appreciate the application of a felt tip in a more refined, thin pen. They're adept at writing, drawing and colouring – something a fine liner can't really compete with.

Gorgeous flow of ink in these pens, nice and clear, comes out easily. Not really a problem, but some of the colours are not really something you'd use - but that could just be me. Pale green specifically. Dark green I can understand, same with dark blue and the pale blue (although it is a little light for writing things... maybe better for sketching). The pink, red, purple and black are all clear. As the nibs are thin it's not really the sort of thing for sketching, but that could depend on what you use them for.Personally it feels more like something for writing, and in this situation the pale green and pale blue aren't really required, but the ink is clear from them and have nice colour, just more for a sketch effect than writing. It's not permanent ink, but not meant to be - just not the best if there is a risk that it will get wet. Nice pens, but with the colours I wouldn't really need them all, so cheaper would be better. Each pen does feel a nice weight, it's quite strong, and solid, so overall it is good - but again, holding the set together in one hand seems more like it should be half the price.A good strong quality with ink but feels a bit cheap in the making.

These Intensity Fine Writing Felt Pens from BIC have a 0.4mm line width and are a superb to write with. The six pens come packaged on a card.Six pens, six colours ... Red, pink, orange, yellow, green and blue. These fine liner pens come complete with lid and a metal encased tip which protects the nib against damage when using a ruler or other measuring tool with a straight edge. The pens are comfortable to hold and to write with thanks to the rubber grip. These pens are very attractively designed in black with vibrant colours printed onto the black. These pens write extremely smoothly without a hint of dragging on the paper. The colours are bright, the lines are crisp and the ink colours look good on white paper. These pens would be great for drawing diagrams and drafts etc.I mainly use these colourful pens to mark various passages in books and I also use them to mark recipes that I want to try from different cookery books. We are a large family of seven and I also use these colourful BIC pens to add events, appointments etc. onto our family calendar, the appointments stand out and it is easy for our children to look up appointments pertaining to them.

These Bic pens have every colour of the rainbow in them and what’s more ideal not just for colouring in fine art but also writing with. If you have any diagrams or charts you need to do and make certain words etc stand out these are the thing to look at. No leaking pens when put into a pencil case and the colours vibrant. Bic has been a long time about town range of stationary and these pens having both a selection of fine and medium knibs really good in terms of both money and way you can write with them. Suited for adult colouring books that are still in favour still to detailed card making or other hobbies where fine or medium tipped pens are required for writing on.I’ve been done some cards recently and must admit been good fun using the various colours and no colour bleed either. Can see these being used by students doing coursework too for detailed diagrams know son has got his eye on my set.Comfortable to hold too which is another gripe with myself and things with suffering bouts of OA in hands but these perfect. Can’t say how long the colour will last in the pens but don’t think they will run out any time soon.

I just love the look of a brand new box of colour, whether it’s paints, crayons or pens, and this is just gorgeous. A total of 32 vibrant colours – 20 fine and 12 medium, I’m spoilt for choice. The beauty of this box is the two different types of tip, which makes them perfect for colouring or writing. I always try to use a good, slightly heavy grade, of paper for my artwork, so the colours don’t bleed, and these pens have proved to be really good for my sketch pad. I was given one of those “art therapy” books but the paper is a bit cheap and I’ve found felt tips don’t work so well on those. The box they come in seems reasonably sturdy, but I’ll probably transfer them to a wooden box I have for this type of thing. These pens are really quite sophisticated so I won’t be giving them to any of the younger (under 12’s) in my family, so I’m going to be selfish and keep them for my personal design work. I think this pack is really good value – 32 pens for less than £20.

This is a great set of pens, with a lovely mix of vivid colours, in both fine and broad tips. The barrels are slim and smooth, without frills or adornment and the caps fit nicely and tightly, so they last well and don’t dry out. They are not designed to feel like children’s felt tips (I’ve not tried washing the ink out of clothes yet, but wouldn’t want to bet on it being an easy prospect), but also not too dressed up in pretentions of artistry; instead a nice set of fun colours for whatever annotation you might want to undertake in multiple glorious colours. A star off because the box in which they come is no good for longer term storage (the plastic tray is effectively 2 pens too small for this, and relies on the carboard to hold in the outer 2 pens. If they came in a tougher tin they’d be more expensive, so it makes sense to have the emphasis on the product, not the package, but factor in the cost of a pencil case to the purchase also.

For adults that love art therapy and grown-up colouring-in books, these are great. There is a good selection of colours, which are nice and bright and the different tip widths mean you can colour larger areas and tiny areas very easily. The finish is very pleasing. I've also found them to be great for writing and injecting a bit of colour into projects. Depending on the GSM of the paper, there will be some bleed through (though not bleeding out around the edges) and ghosting to the other side if the paper isn't very thick. For this reason they're not ideal for bullet journaling unless you're using a high GSM notebook.I wouldn't recommend these for younger children - they're expensive and I can't comment on how well they will stand up to the more robust colouring techniques of most younger children. I suspect due to the narrower tips, they won't. For writing purposes however they might be more suitable in this age group.

BIC Intensity Fineliner Pen Set========================They are a nice set of pens. They are a nice set for writing with or everyday use. However I prefer them as colouring pens. The colours are vivid and definitive,COLOURS=========The colours aren't the same as the caps. They are a little darker than the corresponding cap. Only a tiny bit of difference to be fair.PIGMENTATION=============They are very good, particularly the lighter ones.APPLICATION============They are intense so using them on thinner paper can cause a little bleeding. On the contrary using them in a colouring book there was no bleeding as the paper was quality.COMFORT=========Easy to hold and not at scratchy.OVERALL========They are good pens, but on cheap paper not so good.A nice range of colours, very fine nibs and good for doing detail and small additions of colour in a journal or ink drawing

I have been using these pens for revision, to underline key information or to write key facts. They have a very small point/tip (0.8mm) so they are very precise, and they are quite firm so the nib doesn't 'bend' like other fineliners I have tried. I was impressed with the range of colours as they are all very usable and visible. They don't bleed like cheaper fineliners either. At first, I used one in a birthday card and was sceptical because most of the time, fineliners smudge in cards, but they didn't smudge and dried quite quickly. However, it smudged a little on a record card I was writing on- though that was most likely down to my fault. I can't judge how long they will last and I haven't been using them for too long, but so far I am very impressed. The only thing is the pens are very slim, which I don't mind, but others may find them annoying or hard to use because of this.

Bic intensity fine writing pen- purple......Pack of 12.First and foremost it’s important to realise that this is a pack of 12 pens, all of which are the same colour, in my case a bright, vibrant purple shade.Pen..........The pens are a slim, straight up and down style, with no finger “pits” on the shaft. They are very comfortable to hold, even for extended periods of time, like note taking. The design of the pen is very slick and attractive- shiny black with the top in the corresponding ink colour and a few flashes of the ink colour on the body of the pen- making them easy to select when they are in your pencil case.Nib......The nib is the fine, fibre style. It creates a neat, fine mark on the page,so is great for detailed work and even the more intricate adult colouring books as well as standard writing.

I've only had these a few minutes but drew a quick test diagram for my YouTube channel and I can tell immediately that these are just perfect for me, see the photo.Really fine lines can be drawn (and even the 'medium' lines, in purple in the photo are still very controlled) and make it a pleasure to use these. The lines did not bleed or smudge on the paper in my special drawing book which is always a consideration for me.I need a lot of colours in my diagrams and I am spoiled for choice here with every colour under the sun. They are comfortable to hold and I suspect I'll be using these for months and months to come, but as yet I cannot really gauge the longevity of these items.I think I might even keep them in the original box as they are kept reasonably securely there with the clip down plastic cover.
