This review is strictly for the product, not the seller.I am in the US and have been purchasing French-made Bic pens from various sources in Europe for nearly 20 years because I feel the quality of some of the ballpoint pens is superior to the ones that are now manufactured in Mexico and sold in the US. Of course, I've paid a steep price premium to get those pens shipped to me. The Cristal (medium point) and Orange (fine point) pens made in France were distinguishable by having a non-refillable cartridge that was fused to the pen body and could not be removed. The non-business end of the pen barrel was round, and the cap was slightly longer/taller than the US version.The brass nibs seemed to be very well machined and consistently wrote very smoothly without any scratchiness.I recently ordered the Bic Cristal Fine pens in the same package listed here. (This particular Bic product has never been sold in the US. Fine point Oranges were last sold here about 20 years ago.) These pens are also made in France but have an easily removable cartridge that is similar to that used in the US. These fine point pens have a sharp edge that surrounds the ball, causing it to scratch and drag on the paper, particularly when the pen is pushed forward, as occurs in normal writing. They are not enjoyable to write with at all. I compared this to several older Bic Orange fine point pens with the fused cartridge, and those write wonderfully with no digging or scratching into the paper. This seems to be an issue with the way the brass nib is machined or finished - the older design seems to have a smoother or more rounded shape where the carbide ball is attached to the nib.Has anyone else from the UK who has used the Bic ballpoints for a while noticed this about these pens? I am disappointed because I always looked forward to receiving my genuine French Bic pens in the mail. :(UPDATE: After writing with these pens for a while, I am pretty happy with them. The ink is of very good viscosity (thin enough to roll smoothly but not so thin that it blobs like some cheaper pens). I also purchased some of the Orange Fine pens in the 20 count box and those had the older type nib that I described above (has the ink-colored collar around the nib, and the cartridge cannot be pulled out of the pen case). So I guess Bic is using both of those nib designs simultaneously.

I study mathematics and science so need pens that writes clearly with nice fine lines. Much of the work involves calculus, matrices and various graphics, so there is no room for fuzziness or unclearness. The colours are nice and clear while the pens are easy to hold and use. I definitely recommend them.

these pens are great value for money and yes thay all work.......which in many packs from other sellers you dont have them all working. love that its a mixed pack for highlighting and underline with code to help find information for talks.......will be buying more of these.thanks seller

Good pens, comfortable, yeah it's okay. One issue is it felt a bit plastic initially, I know it is of course but it felt weird so I compared it against my other Cristal Fine pen and it seems fine now.Issue: hard to get the lids off!

Nice selection of colours. Chosen for my student daughter, so she could make notes etc. Everyone loves trying a new pen dont they? Good delivery!

Needed an assortment of colours for paperwork, and prefer the fine tip ones, these were excellent and colour coded to make life easier
