Good old Bic.You can always rely on these workhorses of the office simply because they never let you down. The old cliché always imitated never beaten still rings true. This is the classic design that, apart from the hole in the cap, has not changed for years simply because the pen is the best design. The ink is reliable and delivered with out blobs, the grip is good. The hexagonal and flat shapes of the pen means it does not roll away on the desk, the cap fits well (to borrow another cliché).Whenever I reach for a pen to write a note or message from a tub of pens the one I always pick is the Bic because I know it will always deliver. One tip I used to use ion the office was to write my name ona tiny piece of paper take off the cap at the bottom and push the paper with name showing inside the barrel – the result I never rarely lost a pen.In this pack you get the regular dark blue, black, red and green and the other 4 more exotic (as if a Bic could be described as such). The pen cap/lid and the base button let you know the colour of the ink and that is that.At just over 50p each these pens are a bargain because they never let you down. You could go to a pound shop and get a set not in the same range of colours but they would not be a quarter as good as the well and trusted original BICs.Totally 100 per cent recommended.

BIC Cristal Multicolour Ballpoint Pens Assorted Colours - Pack of 8I've always used BIC biros because the pens are a good diameter for me to grip, the lid fits snugly on top of the pen and the ink glides easily giving a smooth writing action. Of course you can get cheaper biros but I've never found the writing action to be as good, making them a false economy for me. This pack contains four of the usual colours - navy blue, black, red and dark green - together with four more unusual ones - light blue, pink, light green and purple. They are also slightly different in appearance because the transparent barrel is slightly tinted (compared to the usual clear). The tip is also wider (1.6mm compared to 1mm),making the writing action really smooth and giving a slightly wider writing line. The biros are lovely to write with and will definitely be a repeat purchase. For sale at the time of writing this review at £4.01 (RRP £5.51).

I've been using BIC ballpoint pens for a while, as I enjoy the freedom of sketching in ink, and they are pretty much the only ballpoint pen brand I've used that doesn't cease to function before the entire barrel of ink is empty. So I was curious to try out these new pens. There are a nice selection of colours here, with the reliable performance I've come to expect from this brand. Besides the original black, blue, red and green, you have a pink, sky blue, purple and olive green. Out of all of these, the olive green may come across as harder to read, but overall these new colours are bold enough to be used for everyday writing. They are also darker than the colour shown on their caps, which is misleading.A recommended item for those who enjoy using BIC pens, but would like a little more variety for their writing or sketching.

Upon reading the reviews of this product i was unsure if i should buy them because they had a 1 star review, but i ordered them anyway, for creating revision for my exam. I would rate theses 100/100 they were as seen in the picture ( however quite not as described *1.6mm not 0.1mm* but i do not mind). The arrived much quicker then expected which is an amazing bonus! i ordered these on the 11th of February and they were to arrive on the 20th of February but the came 2 days later on the 13th so i am over the moon with that. These a brand new when taken out of the package and have the glue stops on the pens to prove it! WILL BUY AGAIN!

Great Bic Cristal quality in a range of fun colours - red, royal blue, dark green, purple, turquoise, hot pink and standard black. Fun for writing key words, marking and correcting, doodling etc. My kids in sixth form and Uni love them but in the earlier secondary years these might not be so useful as the local schools all insist on only black ink being used for work and note taking and younger children tend to prefer felt tips and pencils for drawing. So perhaps it would be more useful to include 2 or 3 black pens in the pack and then some other colours for "fun". These pens all worked and last well.

I remember using the ubiquitous BIC pen when I was at school and that was more years ago than I care to remember. I think that these are a little thinner than the pens I recall, but they write very smoothly and the eclectic selection of colours, as well as the standard blue and black, means that they are perfect for highlighting passages in text - great for students doing revision.Overall these are great value for money and although you can pick up dirt cheap pens, I doubt they will perform as well as these.

I absolutely LOVED these pensThey have a thicker nib at 1.6mm to the standard crystal bic which is 1mm & this makes the ink flow free & gives a lovely smooth writeIt’s a total pleasure to use these pens, there are the standard red, blue, black, green which are all 1.6mm & then light green, turquoise, purple & pinkI’ve found loads of reasons to use the various colours & its jazzed up my work diary & journal no end!If you’re like me you sometimes fins at work it’s the small things brightening up your day

These are high quality ballpoint pens. I will give them a generous five stars as the product description is accurate and the colours are unusual. These are more expensive than some pens that you can get but I do think that they are higher in quality. The ink is good and the plastic isn't too flimsy. I imagine that virtually everyone has used BIC pens before so I can confirm that these are as good as normal. I did think that they were slightly thicker than optimal for me but only by a tiny amount.

The pens write very well, very smooth with no 'blobbing'. Just note that the pens come out of the packet with a protective cover on the nibs to stop them leaking in the post - nothing you can't peel off using your fingernail. There are 8 colours: black, blue, red, green, lime green, cyan, purple and pink - not sure why they have two different greens in there, why not have orange for example? Ah well, they work and the colours do stick out on the page so they're worth picking up.

Excellent pens. Two snags - 1, the tips are protected by annoying plastic coverings which need picking off before ink will flow, and 2. they tend to leak some ink when stored upright (hence the manufacturer's plastic protection tips). I'd hoped the ink would not be water based, but it is (so a highlighter pens smudges the pen marks). Overall, I am pleased with the pens.

A great little pack of biros, and it's fun to see all the different colours. The pack was delivered promptly, and as specified. It contains the more usual red, blue, black and dark green biros, as well as pink, pale blue, light green and purple. The biros write perfectly, with a smooth medium thick line. Useful for work or study where you want your notes to stand out.

A really nice set of BIC biros encompassing all the colours of the rainbows, and pink. All the pens come with a little protective rubber cap on the nib, which needs to be removed before use ( I thought the pens were dud when i tried to write with the cap still on). The pens write clearly and in vivid colour every time.

I really like pens with a wider tip, and these are wider than standard. They write much, much more smoothly. The colours are lovely too, really unusual. Not sure how much call there is for writing in pink, but it's very nice to have the option for something fun like a birthday card. It's a good price for the set too!

It says these are biros but they are more like rollerball pens to me. The BIC Cristal pack comes with a good variety of attractively coloured pens, which write well. Just the job for home, work or school. BIC is the original and still one of the best biros...happy writing :).

Eight Bic pens in different colours which are easy to hold and use giving a good flow of ink , they are a good price and ideal for our young grandchildren who love writing with the different colours. Bic is a name from my childhood and now my young families.
