UPDATE: The regular price of these pens seems to be around £5, not the £2.50 they were at the time of the original review. This is still good value for four Bic 4-Colour pens, so my score remains at 5*.Full disclosure: I'm genuinely a big fan of the classic Bic 4-colour pen. That aside, this pack of four Bics is in interesting variation on the classic. As you can see in the attached pic, the classic red, blue, green black are complimented nicely by the four alternative colours, which are perfectly useable. As someone who likes colour-coding text, they are quite handy for me.The new stubby pens are just long enough to be held normally to write with in my somewhat big paws, and being smaller than usual, are a neat idea for if you're short of space to store a pen. Note that the top half of the pen is the same size, but the barrel is somewhat shorter on the stubby pens. The normal pens are about 145mm long (about 5&3/4") while the shorter pens are about 120mm long (4&3/4"). Bear in mind that as the pens are and inch shorter, there is an inch less ink in each colour too.For the record, while the classic 4-colour pen is made in France, the shorter pens are made in Tunisia.Right now, these Bics are available as a pack of 4 for £2.50 as an add-on purchase, which is such insanely great value I've ordered a couple of extra packs. Highly recommended!

Bic multi-colour pens... I am a big fan already and buy them for work because I am either frivolous or generous. This particular pack is lovely, because it has two sizes of pen AND two sets of colours. It is worth noting that the sizes vary only in length, not in thickness.I added a photo to show the two colour sets - Original and Fun - and if you have children they are going to lunge for the fun colours before you can even blink. Which is a shame for me, because I wanted the fun colours too.In THEORY the original colour set should be with pens with blue barrels and the fun colours with green barrels. As you can see from my other photo, Bic managed to mess that up. I am not bothered, but it surely can't be that hard to make a set of four pens match...I notice that another reviewer had one of the pens leak. I have not seen a leaky Bic for decades, but I'll be giving these plenty of use in the next couple of weeks to see if I too have any quality issues, and will update this review accordingly.Verdict: mini pens for mini hands, plus fun colours. We like.

This great set of pens includes 2 full size pens with 4 refills and 2 miniature ones too. There is one in each size that comprises blue, black, red and green and another which is purple, lime green, light blue and pink. So whether you have full depth pockets or short depth there is a pen that will fit!The slightly unusual range of colours that includes purple will be useful for many teachers who now have to mark in that shade and the lime green is also very eye catching - in fact all those four colours re engaging and will draw the eye.Technically there are four pens in the packet but you are really getting 16 (four refills in each pen),so this is incredibly good value when you think about it in that light. This style of pen has been around all my life and thankfully is very reliable and now very affordable - there is no reason for not giving this a try, I certainly find them excellent for marking and working in the educational system I am never short of a different colour!Great value and work really consistently - I recommend them!

I like this new pack of Bic pens.I must say I've been a fan of the Bic four-colour since childhood, and reverted to 'childhood' as soon as I could afford to buy them regularly as an adult.I do have a genuine need for the four-colour pen in my job. I'm a Clerk of the Court and we often have to amend the same document in hard copy several times during a court case. The Bic provides a sort of paper-based 'track changes'.This new set of pens contains two that are much shorter than the others - useful to pop in a top pocket if you don't want the Bic to show. Also useful for child witnesses or children who have accompanied their parents to court. When I first fell in love with Bic pens, the pale colours were a bit of a gimmick to be honest - they weren't all that strong and weren't used after the first day. Now, all four of them - pink, purple, turquoise and green - are vibrant and bright. Great for kids or for writing in your journal. I

I have used these 4-colour Bic pens (in the classic red/green/blue/black combination inks) for years. I find them very useful – there is no need to find another pen when you want to change colour. Just click down a new colour and then click back to your original colour. You can make the transition in a fraction of a second. The only real disadvantage of that is that I find I run out of blue first as that is the colour I normally write in. What you can do is open the pen, remove the used-up colour and replace it with one removed from a new, disposable single-colour Bic pen.In the pack you get 2 large and 2 small pens. Each come in 2 different colour combinations – the classic red/green/blue/black which has been around for years, and the newer lime green/turquoise/pink, purple. At the time of writing they are £5.99 which is good value.

I have some other 4 Colours Bic Pens, which I buy for my children and which have black, blue, green and red ink. They need to use red and green in class, for marking work, and they find them easy to use – being able to use the other colours for normal writing work. This pack includes two full-size pens and two smaller, mini-pens. Two of the pens have the usual colour inks – red, green, blue and black. The other two pens (one large and one smaller) have pink, purple, light green and light blue). These colours are less used, but my daughter is delighted by them and she uses them to write at home. These work well and the smaller pens are ideal for pencil cases at school, as they take up less room.I like the mix of colours and, as always, these work really well and very useful.

When I was at school everyone wanted one of these pens (or the cheap copy with even more colours) and I think everyone, secretly, still loves them. Why carry four different colour pens when one (slightly thicker) pen is avaliable? No Brainer - everyone should have at least one Bic multi colour pen in their lives. However Bic have moved with the times and now, not only is this great invention avaliable with red, green, blue and black ink but we can now have pink, purple, cyan and lime green in the 'fashion' colourway. This pack is great because you have both colour options in the standard and mini pen. The mini pen is perfect to have in any bag and the standard are perfect for school, office or home.Bic are fantastic as ever!!!

I love these pens and we can never have enough of them (literally, because my wife constantly steals all my pens and loses them). This set has four multi-colour pens: two big ones and two small ones. In each size you get a standard BIC four colour pen (blue barrel, and with inks red, blue, green, and black), and a slightly different one, with a different coloured barrel (the image shows green but we got pink), and the colours purple, pink, green, and light blue. There are four of us in the family so we each got one and my two girls love them. The price (at the time of writing) puts them at £1.20 per pen which is good value, especially as Tesco are currently selling a similar pack for only 30p less but with only three pens.

This set consists of 4 pens, two full-length and two shorter ones. One of each size has the traditional black/blue/red/green ink colours, while the other two pens offer the choice of inks in pink, purple, turquoise and lime green. The standard colours are very useful for any job requiring annotations to be made in a variety of colours, but the novelty colours don't show up as clearly on the paper and so I would only recommend them for recreational use.The inks flow on to the paper as smoothly as any BIC pen and the fatter body of the 4-colour ballpoints is more comfortable to hold for long periods than their single-colour pens. Given these pens are from a well-known brand,I think the price is reasonable too.

Bic Multi-Colour Pens have been around for years now and this set has a new twist on them. Two of the pens are the traditional Blue, Black, Red and Green, whilst the second set have their modern pink, purple, lime green and light blue combination, mean you only need to carry two pens to ensure you have a colour for all occasions. They also come in two sizes I have been carrying the two mini pens around in my bag, at just over 10cms they are light, small and deliver a smooth, blot free line of ink every time. They also have hole in the top if you want to thread them and hang them up.A very versatile set of pens

I've used these 4 colour bics (purchased with my own money in these budget restricted times) for a few years now - for marking books they are just the best, easy to use and you can swap colour when you get bored or, I guess if your school has a marking policy that dictates a particular colour. I love the fact that you get two mini versions of each pen here too. They are great for anyone to slip into a bag and write really well. I must have spent hours of my life using bic 4 colour pens; they are the brand I come back to every time. Good range of colours here too and great value. Highly recommended.

Most of use have seen and probably used these 4 colour pens before, press down on the colour button at the top of the pen to select that colour, half press another colour to release the current one. This "family" of 4 pens come in two standard colours, plus two pastel colours, I think they are meant to be mummy, daddy, and two kids.Anyway, the two pastel colours are quite nice shades of pink, blue, green and purple. Not sure what use these colours would be good for, but they good great, so I'm sure I'll find uses for them, perhaps writing greeting cards would be a good use for them.

The BiC 4 Colour Fun Fashion retractable ballpoint pens are a great set of pens which write in four different colours. This allows you to easily colour-code your work or in my dughters case her drawings. The BiC 4 Colour Fashion retractable ballpoint pens give you four different colours of ink in the same pen: Pink, purple, turquoise and green The colours are bright and lots of fun. They have a wide, round, lime green barrel body for easy grip. The medium 1.0 mm tip of each colour gives a line width of 0.4 mm I was very impressed with these pens and my daughter was too.
