I bought the pad to warm various areas of my back whilst lying in bed. The pad is big enough to warm, at different times, my neck and shoulders, my middle back and my lower back. It is small enough to move it round with ease. The 90 minute auto switch off means I can go to sleep on it knowing it will turn itself off. It has 3 heat settings although the middle setting meets my needs.The controls are easy to manage althogh perhaps a little cumbersome.Overall I would recommend it to anyone who needs to heat up a small area like the lower back or hip or leg etc.
