Bought to replace previous Dreamland Heat Pad which wore out.This Thermo Pad, though a little more expensive, is far better and a great improvement on both my previous Dreamland Heat pads.It is more comfortable to lie on and, having 5 settings, is more adaptable and easier to adjust the heat levels to your requirements.Generally, I find that the first setting is hot enough for me.And, unlike my old Dreamland Heat pads which switched themselves off after 90 minutes, this one -according to the description - is supposed to stay on for 3hours. But I cant vouch for that as I'm usually asleep by then. But it does switch itself off !

This heat pad is just the best thing since slice bread for your aches and pains, i suffer with terrible back pain, stomach pain due to disabilities with a click of a simple button and a very few minutes to heat up the pain is zapped by this wonderful piece of equipment, it is lovley and soft (comforting)no matter your shape it bends to your body shape, i can happily say im not the normal shape! Overrall id give this heat pad 10/10 works quicker than any pill, also has 5 heat settings so suit you

I bought this heat pad on the recommendation of my doctor, I currently have a severe back problem. It really does ease the pain whilst in use and is just the right size as to not get in the way too much. The settings are a good idea as you can control it depending on how much heat you feel you need, the highest setting does get good and hot. It's also nice on a cold night just to cosy up to. My best friend also recommended it as she has something similar and swears by it for any aches and pains.

This is my second pad by Dreamland, my first one lasted over 15 years. Only reason I am replacing it is because on old design has no timer and wires get hot. This mat is very supple and fits nicely around your neck. Its great to lay on at night and the heat setting on number four is more than hot enough. It would have got a perfect rating but for the attachment fitting is a bit uncomfortable if you lay on it but once you know where to place the pad, you learn.Hope it lasts as long as my old one.

Bought this Dreamland heat pad after a bad back injury leaving me unable to move . I was a bit skeptic at first thinking on how I could get my back better but within 2 days of using it I could move around again with ease . Brilliant product love the fact it’s so portable as long as you have a plug nearby . I even put it in bed at night to heat my side of the bed up .It can be used to help with period pains too . Heats up fast and you can control your desire temperature. Even the dog likes it .

I absolutely love this heat pad!! Great for aches and pains but mostly I use it instead of a hot water bottle when it's cold! It is safe as it switches itself off after 90 minutes, it is washable, and using this for 90mins uses less energy than it takes to boil your kettle to fill your hot water bottle! I just love it! I've bought 2 of my friends one of these and they love it too! The only thing that I'm not too keen on is the colour, but I can forgive that as it's brilliant in every other way!

A quality recognised brand It has sufficient cable to reach a socket behind the seat where it is used,, there are five heat settings, the highest is comfortably warm so would not use any lower setting. The cable can be detatched from the pad to allow washing. A timer will switch the pad off after three hours The fabric is very soft and comfortable with a quilted texture but stays flat, so if you want to wrap around shoulders position it under clothing to get the benifit of the full heated area.

what life saver,I have Ehlers danlos syndrome and suffer from constant pain,after using wheat bags all the time i have discovered this,which has a time set for 3 hours but you can re set it and start again so constant heat.At first i didn't think it was going to be hot enough but,when i have it on in bed for my back number 2 is enough.After testing it on myself i bought one for my mum .I would recommend this to anyone who gets pain relief from heat,for any part of the body.It also washes well!

I seem to get pulled muscles quite frequently. This mat is extremely comfortable to have against your skin; it’s a soft felty/spongy type texture. It has 5 heat settings, though the guide recommends using only level 4 and 5 for quick heat up, and then lower it to 1-3. I find that level 1 heats up quickly enough. The heat it produces is really good, in fact it can get too warm at times. A great thing about this is that you can wash it in the washing machine and even dry it in the tumble dryer.

Pad heats up superfast and is just right on the highest setting which was what bothered me with other, far more expensive brands which hardly gave off any heat, causing me to return them. But this pad is perfect!! I suffer from chronic migraines and this pad gives me relief from the pain as I get them everyday. I actually sleep on the pad- it is soft enough and turns itself off after about 90 minutes. Also great for period cramps, back, neck aches. Only problem is sometimes I wish I had two!!

I'm not a big lover of painkillers/blockers/sedatives which doctors seem to freely prescribe for chronic neck pain, so when I researched heat pads as an alternative and found this, I thought I'd give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. I use the pad at least twice a day and during the night, when the pain is at its worst and it simply just allows me to get more sleep and relax more which allows a better next day. It's a godsend and really does make my daily life with chronic pain a lot easier

Bought this heat pad for my wife to ease her arthritis and it works a treat, it dos't take long to get to full heat and is very comfortable what ever part of the body it's used on and starts to relieve the aches and pains after 15 mins of use, the only grumble we have is that it goes to number 5 (full heat) when first switched on and you have to bring it down to the heat number you want....very fiddly in the dark at bedtime but apart from that it does the job fine, great for aches and pains.

It’s sold as a medical device I’m not so sure but I’m sure Argos have done their due diligence. The heat pad is easy to put together the electrical cable only fits one way. The temperature control is simple to use too. The heat pad gets very warm very quickly on the highest setting. Too warm for me after a short time. I’ve an arthritic knee & I found the warmth on setting 3 was quite helpful. If you have poor circulation I would ask your doctor if this is suitable. Good with a few caveats.

It's a good design and a useful item, better than a water bottle. However I don't know if it will last. I bought 1 from amazon that lasted 6 months..Then I bought 1 from Argos that only lasted 2 months but with 3 years guarantee Argos replaced it on store.. With amazon I would have to return it by post to the seller to have it replaced, a nuisance, with Argos all I had to do was returning it to the shop. I appreciated that. I'm quite happy with it, so far so good, hoping that it will last.

This heat pad is amazing, best thing I've bought in a long time. The price did put me off, as I don't have money to waste on something that might not work for me. Much better than I had expected it to be, no more leaking hot water bottles, or forever refilling them once they've gone cold; it even turns itself off after 3 hours. No need for batteries either, as it plugs into the mains. I highly recommend this heat pad, it is worth every penny, I only wish I had bought it sooner than I did.
