An obvious choice for most WW2 combat flight sims is the BATTLE OF BRITIAN, because it really was the most decicive battle ever fought in the air, even though it ended in a stalemate. I get the feeling that a lot of the flying in this sim also ends in a stalemate as the planes are pretty difficlut to fly, let alone actually hit something with bullets! A big plus point is that you are not limited to Spitfire/109's, but Stukas and the rest can be flown too.Often the sky is crowded with square formetions of Bombers, as it was I suppose, and then you get to tear into them whilst trying to avoid the escorting 109's. Not an easy job, and at least you get to appreciate how hard it was at that time for all the pilots involved.
