Overall, this is a great car for the price. It's super fast, can go through high grass, and it is easy to control. Arrma makes good products, but it has some downfalls.One of my shocks started leaking the 2nd day. I don't have much RC experience, but found online that the shocks have rubber o-rings instead of silicone and you can replace the o-rings and get if fixed. I'm honestly not skiled enough to do what the videos were showing right away, so I just bought some new metal shocks for $30 off eBay and that fixed it. I guess Arrma would send out a repair kit as well, but maybe they should have just used the right o-rings from the beginning on a $300 truck.The transmitter is also horrendous.It's super slow to respond and feels extremely cheap. I realize transmitters can get pretty expensive, but couldn't they just kind of add some rubber or anything on the wheel and make it look/work a little bit better? It's $300! I bought a new transmitter for $75 and it is WAYYY better. The response time is nearly instant, compared to a delay with the old one.So really, this is like a $425 truck because I needed new shocks and to replace the trash transmitter/reciever.But I still gave it 4 stars because overall the thing is extremely fun and I would have paid a bit more for better quality stuff anyways.It's more like 3.5 stars, but I'd stay on the 4 star side.

My biggest complaint is that this shipped direct from the Amazon Warehouse and when I removed the truck from the shipping package, I could immediately tell the product was an open box or return item (I paid for brand new unopened item) with standard packing tape used to reseal the box. All the contents in the box were loose and scattered in the retail package and as far as we know parts missing.1. The manual that comes with this truck is pretty basic and contains very little information that would help a new user that isn't familiar with electric rc's. Instead of breaking the manual down by respective language,it is divided into content sections with all languages per content (Not that major of an issue but at first glance it appeared 2 pages contained info in English and rest manual was foreign languages).2. The truck bashes pretty well and held up to mild jumps with plenty of crashes and cartwheels. So far nothing broke and holding up fine.3. Spektrum transmitter and receiver does the job, but not as responsive as other transmitters and receivers in rc's of this scale and price range.Overall the Granite is fun and durable and would recommend to others.

Super fast! Super tough! and Super fun! I did tons of research before deciding on this one and I could not be happier. I now know why everyone describes this truck as a beast. If you want to go fast hit big jumps do wheelies and bash around you cannot beat truck especially for the price there is nothing else even close for the money. I got the Senton 3s for my son which we are now in the process of upgrading to be more like the Granite. Both are great trucks but I love my Granite. I have an absolute blast running these trucks with my son it really is a great hobby to get into if your still thinking about it DO IT!Also this truck runs on 2s or 3s battery my suggestion would be to start with the 2s if your new or inexperienced because the 3s turns it into an absolute animal but very very fun. These Arrma trucks are designed tough yet easy to work on so dont forget to read the manual and get familiar with the inner workings. Driving is only one part of the fun learning how to fix or upgrade parts is just as much fun. Summing it all up just a great truck and a great hobby. Tons of fun!

This truck really cooks and puts a big smile on an old fart (myself). I'm a beginner so understand that point of view with my comments. This is an updated review after over a month of bashing.Pros:- excellent runner right out of the box- great suspension- great traction in deep snow.- 2S is a lot of fun ... 3S rocks!Cons: (plan on spending an additional $200 to make it right)- One weak point are the bumper springs. I 3D print my own, find on Thingiverse.- Steering linkages are sloppy, but it doesn't seem to affect control. I ended up replacing- Stock servo has only 7kg torque and slow. Get a better servo!- The common complaint is the radio response delay. Plan on getting something else and it doesn't have to be $$.I ended up with a Radiolink RC6GS and love it.- The stock tires are questionable. I've developed rips in both rear tires after one week of running on mixed snow and asphalt driveway. Switched to Proline Badlands tires/rims with 17mm hex adapter. $$, but nice tires.

WOW, thats the first thing I said the minute I squeezed the trigger, using the 3S batts, this truck is a BEAST!!!I can tell this is going to be a kick in the butt on the beach. not into how high I can jump or trash, seen enough videos to know what it can take, I just love the way it looks, so broad and wide and low, and it goes like a bat outta hell, scuse my french, but other words wouldnt justify. all I know is you won't be unhappy with this truck it will put many smiles on your face as it wheelies down the road. I think I bought the last one cause after I purchased it they were outta stock. I used to race RC10's back in the 80's we had a very nice track in tacoma wa.at the B&I Mall but I don't remember our RC10's being this fast .

Love this truck! Solid and fast ! Takes a beating and keeps on trucking!Just plan fun! I really wanted to give this five stars, but, the transmitter/receiver is not good at all. It won’t respond at a distance of more than 25 yards or so. On a small track that’s fine, but this thing is so fast, bashing at the local park is a pain/dangerous, I had it run out of control for about 3 seconds, lucky for me I was in an open space. Could have ended differently. But over all, very good. I would highly recommend !Update: horizon hobby sent a new receiver free of charge and that fixed the problem!!!!Works great and tons of fun!!

I spent a lot of time looking for a durable and fun RC truck...this is it! I had to learn the hard way by starting out with a few $150 knock-off’s that racked up big repair bills and rarely lasted for more than a week before they broke. Don’t be like me, just buy this truck and you will be happy you did.Things you need: lipo charger ($50), 5000maH battery ($35).Pro’s: Super fast, great control in the air (can backflip easily), best in class durability.Con’s: Radio isn’t great, shocks eventually leakOverall: Best 1/10 scale RTR Monster Truck available.

I did a lot research before I bought this and kind of knew what to expect, this thing is a 7lb beast. Once you learn to control it it's a blast. I have taken it the skate park and got single and double flips off the 1/4 pipe, sunk in a puddle that I thought was only 2" deep (was more like 8") jumped it the snow and cold and so far have only broken 1 A-Arm and trashed the body LOL. this is my first RC truck and I also crashed it a LOT!!!! I am very happy with it

I really do love the Granite EXCEPT the STX2 controller! It’s absolute junk. Very laggy and steering was unpredictable. I went ahead and bought a new controller which was relatively inexpensive with gyro built in. (DumboRC with gyro) The Granite is very powerful on just 2s Lipo. On 3s it’s a freaking rocket. Over all I’m happy except the fact of the junk controller. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

Durable bashing truck. Threw a 26 tooth pinion in and it flys. Good battery life with a 9000mah 3s battery. Grease differentials and spur gear before taking it out. They don't put very much from the factory.

This is a very tough and durable rc. I am very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend. I watched reviews for about a month before I decided on this car and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase

This thing is a blast! Absolutely love it. Is very fast and durable. Already made a few mods to beef it up even more. Very easy to work on. 2s is fast, 3s is very fast. Highly recommended!

truck is fast on 2s runs great durability is awsome. i cant wait until i get a 3s for it would recomend this truck for anyone great deal.
