You have friends round, it's approaching midnight and the end of your perferred alcoholic beverage of choice. You grab another and search around for something to play.It's at this point in the evening that stacking wooden animals on top of each other in a pile is exactly what is required. Rules summary: roll a die, then add one or two animals to the pile. Don't knock down the pile. First person to pile on all their animals wins. Any questions? There are a few nuanses; the die may tell you to give an animal to another player or let other players choose what animal you add to the pile or increase the width of the pile.You get up the next morning to look after the children and reach for something

Animal upon Animal is a terrific little game. The prices are ingenious in the way that they stack. Although too young to actually play the game, my daughter likes naming the animals and playing with them as toys. I am sure in time she will start to get more fun stacking them herself than knocking over the ones I pile up.The one word of caution I would give is that the peices are probably a bit smaller than most people would envisage. This doesn't bother me or Eabie though. Zwei thumbs up!

This is a MUST HAVE game for anyone with preschool- primary aged children. It's so easy and so clever and the animals are wooden and well made. The price is a bit high, but this is going to be a forever game at our house. Buy one. It's something your family will always enjoy. My kids are also very clever at making up different games with the pieces! Lovely.

Bought for 4 year old nephew who was keen to get on with stacking the animals, although we haven't had a chance to play it properly so far.High quality wooden pieces.

It's fun for all ages and good for team / family game or competing against it each other. Can be fun for one child to try to balance them all as well!
