I think this is a decent product with a good educational background to it.Our 1 year old loves making animal noises and pointing out animals when we go our for a walk - dogs, cats etc...This game effectively opens up a new range of animals for her to identify and mimic, along with baby signing she has increased her vocabulary as well. The cards are solid, but not entirely toddler proof as yet :)However, a great product, with a good quality range of animal boards and CD sounds.

our daughter is 2 years old and just loves this game. As soon as she hears the animal sound on the tape she is the first to put her counter onto the correct picture or tell you that you have it! She can tell the difference between a pheasant and geese, a wolf and a hyena and more. It's a fabulous game and great value for money, we bought it for our first child (now 15 yrs!)our son played it and now our youngest daughter. It's a must!

I bought this game for my 2.5-year old and he loves playing it. I wouldn't say it's quite as good as the more general Soundtracks game that's also available from GALT Toys, as some of the animals are quite obscure, and there's little chance of children ever listening to these in reality (e.g. dolphins, whales - what are the chances?). But it certainly makes a nice change for when my son gets tired of the other version.

Such a good idea. My two year old wants to play this every single day despite owning more toys and games than toys r us! It is his absolute favourite and I like it because I'm sure it is increasing his concentration and listening skills alongside knowledge of different animal noises! Very happy and looking into the other sets for his birthday.

The children really enjoy playing this game. Some sounds are more easy to identify than others, so it gives some differentiation of knowledge to the children. It would be handy if all the C.D. tracks were identified rather than just the first thirty six. Hoping that they bring out other games similar to this, with different sounds.

Love it, my daughter loves it and her friends and their parents :)) When I got it my daughter was 3 years old, it helped me to teach her words in two languages and recognise sounds. Spent ours (for years) of good fun with it, purchased 'Soundtracks' too, even now (she is 7) coming back sometimes to this game :)) Extremely happy.

I've actually bought this for my 14 month old and she loved it. it'll take a few plays to guess all the correct animal sounds. She managed about 6 of the 30 sounds. She loved it and really listened and got excited when the next noise cAme on.We didn't play with the counters, we just pointed at the animal pictures.

Glad that this game is still available! This is an excellent listening game very happy that my kids love this. It was fun listening for the sounds, and I can see how the game helps with listening skills & focus. It's pretty easy to play around with this game and try new things. This game is really educational!

On the whole this is a good CD game - downside is if you already own the other CD, some sounds are repeated on this (like sheep / cow / bee and dog and duck). Could have been better if additional animals were used other than duplicates - which would be fine if you don't own the other CD.

My three year old really enjoys this game. It's been interesting to see how well he's listening and is a precursor to phonic work. The counters are quite small so would recommend to play away from younger children. The boards are sturdy and the CD is very clear and easy to use.

This is really popular with my four-year-old and his friends. It's more challenging than your standard 'it's a cow it makes a moo noise' type games, and with its real photos and real sounds, it feels more educationally useful than some games.

This is a great price for a fun little game. It's easy to play and perfect if you have a little animal lover! My son loves listening to the different sounds and it's a quick game (a bonus as many parents will agree I'm sure!).

Usually only seen in preschools, this soundtracks lotto game is excellent for listening skills as well as correspondence and animal recognition..can be used in different ways according to ages and stages of child

I have bought this item for my grandchild. we have used a similar game before, starting with first recognizing and naming the pictures before progressing to the actual game as my grandchild is only two.

Bought for the children. Handy cd and sturdy boards. Good sound quality. Think a bit expensive as most music speakers eg Alexa, you can download animal sounds, however this is nice with the boards.
