Long story short, I've owned several Alpinestars jackets and gear since owning several jackets made by other manufacturers, and wishing I had on a better protected, higher quality, better-looking jacket. Alpinestars with a solid race proven reputation for high performance, high quality (that lasts forever unless you destroy it lol) I was looking for a leather jacket with the highest level of protection available, and Alpinestars "Missile Ignition Tech-Air compatible" jacket is everything, and more. It's option for the Tech-Air Airbag System (sold separately) makes it stand out above the rest of the herd. It's not about the cost, it's about what you're getting that makes it a better value than more expensive jackets from Alpinestars lineup.The Missile Ignition jacket is an incredibly good looking, great fitting (very comfortable) leather jacket. I'm not trying to sell you, I'm just telling you what I got, and I loved it immediately. You could research the features all day, but seeing the jacket on and feeling it's protection comfort you is beyond words!!! This jacket could easily cost more, and trust me, if you want the best jacket available the Missile Ignition Tech-Air jacket is on the top of the list. If you can't decide which jacket to buy and are sitting on the fence, or the cost seems high, don't trip this is top of the line quality that lasts forever, looks and feels so good (make that "great") will make you really happy you got it. I got the all-black one, and it's a beautiful looking jacket. After all, we're judged by what gear we wear, by those who know. I'll post an update... I'm 6' 180 lbs and wear a size 42 jacket fitting quite snug with no body armor/back protector on. Or a size 44 jacket with an Alpinestars body armor/back protector on. BUT I bought a size 46 jacket in order to fit the Tech-Air Airbag System much more comfortably without wearing any body armor/back protector (the Tech-Air Airbag System has a back protector built-in).

Very nice jacket! Well constructed and lots of armor. Measure yourself to get the correct size. I am 5’11”, Athletic (I lift weights) and I’m about 207lbs. I ordered a 58 and it fits just about perfectly. I haven’t ridden with it yet but it seems like it will be pretty comfortable. The sleeves are a tad long but I’d rather they be a little long rather than short.

The fit is great, I'm 5'11 210lbs and the 56 fits me great with some room to breathe. The arms are a hair long, and the biceps are tight, but even after 1 ride its already loosened up there. The fit and finish are amazing, the protection is top notch and I'll be looking to pick up a Tech-air 5 to match soon.

Really well constructed. Totally worth the money. For sizing, I am 5'11" and 175 lbs. I ordered a size large (EUR 52) and it fits snuggly. Definitely no room for the airbag system. If that's something you're considering, then perhaps you'd want to size up.

Outside is great, cool jacket, the inner liners grabs to your skin so it doesn't slide on/off. the airbag lights dig into your forearm, the zipper tab broke off, right inner pocket Velcro sticks to it self and can't be used with gloves on
