This thing is great. Plenty of pockets, venting and cinches for personalized fitment. I also opted for the *nucleon* chest armor inserts, and though they’re a bit stiff, you can’t feel them when the jacket is on and zipped up. So far I’ve been taking in out in modest weather, probably mid-30s at the low end, and I can’t feel any wind chill on my torso whatsoever. One of my rides included a light drizzle and as expected, the waterproof nature of the garment held up. I have not had an opportunity to test the jacket in hot weather, but I may update when summer rolls around.If you’re looking for a mid-range option with good features, get the Andes V2.

Great fit... I'm 5' 7" and a Large in most clothing and I'm a Large in this jacket. Its a snug fit with the liner (& back protector) fitted and with me wearing a t-shirt+jumper but not snug to the point of being restrictive. The liner is easily removed and for a daily commute of only a few miles it's not need for warmth. There is no back protector with the jacket but the RST Level 2 fits perfectly and far cheaper than the Alpinestar version. There is a zip in the tail for attaching trousers and loads of pockets that are accessible in gloves. Overall a great protective jacket that is waterproof.

Shipping was ahead of schedule. The next morning was in the low 20 so I got to test it's warmth on my hour commute. It is very wam,wind proof,and suppsed to be waterproof which is the only one I haven't tested. The jacket is very well put together,has plenty of storage and is very nice looking. I could not be happier with my puchase.... Update, just came in from a hr ride in 40 mph winds at 35 degrees. There was no buffeting the jacket is very sreamlined for a somewhat heavy coat. I was very comfortable!

I would relocate some of the velcro patches and tweak some of the adjusters but overall a well thought-out and well made jacket. Do budget for some upgraded armor inserts though. While the shoulder and elbow inserts are Class1 and "OK" there's only perforated place-holder foam in the chest and back slots. Good selection of pockets and vents. The rear 'kidney pocket' is great for picking up some supplies on the way home.

I'm 64 years old I've been riding motorcycles since I've been five so my latest motorcycle crave is adventure bike riding and the Andes Alpinestars is way more than I expected the jacket is comfortable warm waterproof just the perfect size I enjoy the jacket if you're out there and you're 5'5 or 5'6 this is the jacket for you maybe we'll meet on the dirt roads one day so till then Happy trails

Nice quality riding jacket for the price. Can’t say much about the durability at this early stage but I like the quality, fit and look of the jacket. I am 6’ 2” and 190 lbs and originally ordered a large but it was too tight with the thermal liner. Returned for an XL and it fits perfectly. Shipping times were good, the exchange was easy, I would recommend this seller.

This is a great buy! I’m very pleased with the quality of this jacket. I’ve ridden in temps from the 80’s down to the low 40’s and believe with the right layers underneath you could be comfortable into the 20’s. I haven’t meet in any major precipitation yet but it’s shed everything so far. The zippers are properly sealed.The sizing runs small so bump up a size.

I am more than completely pleased with this jacket and it has surpassed my expectations. High quality construction, abundant features and details, value for my money and fit. I ordered a small and was afraid it would be too small. It wasn't. It fit properly for me both riding and walking. Thanks for fast shipping MX South (Jeff) and Amazon!

Well made jacket, water resistant and wind proof. Zipper is a bit of a pain getting started, I think they should have used a larger size. I’ve been wearing it on my rides here in Michigan and have been in 30 degree weather with rain and snow.The only complaint or caution I can give is that it runs at least one size maybe two sizes small.

Great jacket I have an earlier version and it has been upgraded somewhat, only thing I don't like is that the Logo's are printed on unlike my older jacket where they are actually machine embroidered on the jacket, still cost saving I suppose, anyhow notwithstanding that it is a great jacket and looks "cool" in cammo print.

I can't think of another jacket that provides equal protection/quality at this price point. I've worn this in 30 degree temps in Idaho and 90 degrees in Phoenix and remained comfortable; Love the flexibility of zipping out/in the liner to adjust to riding conditions. great rain shield too.

Awesome product, I'm about 5.57 feet tall and kinda skinny and the M fit me perfectly! The only bad thing is that my jacket doesn't have the chest and back protectors and I was specting so bad for those! Is that normal? Because the descriptions says that it comes with that.

Really good looking gloves - fit well and high quality stitching etc. Only negative is that they don't have a seperate wrist restraint (only elastic) so aren't as secure as sportier models. This hasn't put me off though as the gauntlet strap can be fitted quite tightly.

Simply brilliant piece of essential motorbike kit. Well made and comfortable. Worn this the other day for 3 hours in the rain. Not one leak. Going to have to invest in the trousers to go with them. Protection feels good but thankfully not put it to the test yet

I couldn't be any happier with this purchase, best jacket for the money, it feels safe and sturdy, i fell off my bike offroading about 3 times with this jacket so far and zero problems, and it looks great too and gets a lots of compliments.
