These are just as expected. In total fairness I have not worn them in a downpour but the bit of rain they have been worn in did not penetrate at all.I did buy a XXL which thankfully not my normal size. I did this obviously to be able to easily slide over my leathers etc quickly if I'm caught in a downpour.Despite ordering very large, they are perfect. Very big at the top and come quite high but this also makes sure that there is a good overlapping of my jacket over my trousers. (Very big at the top because I ordered larger than normal size for me)So I would recommend these waterproofs.Since my initial review I have worn these trousers (and matching jacket) many times in torrential rain/ downpours. Not one drop of wetness has gotten through. I would even more strongly now recommend these and I personally will buy these next time too. I think I have fallen lucky finding these first time around as I have read many threads on bike forums where many bikers have bought far more expensive and far less able waterproofs. (Despite 100% waterproof claims). In brief if you want outstanding waterproofs for a (in my opinion) very reasonable price then these are a must.

these trousers are well made, good waterproofing, decent quality and are TOTALLY and ENTIRELY meant to go over clothing. the sizing is EASILY two sizes up so DO ORDER a couple of sizes smaller. i am a medium frame man and i ordered MEDIUM. found way TOO LARGE, finished taking my girlfriends SMALL size. i cannot understand how people are misguiding others in the reviews.i also have a HEIN GERICKE rain trousers and admittedly,,,, they are WAY more professional, abit of a world apart. their fit is much nicer, they do not make you look bloated like these RICHA do. but as i have said before, these RICHA serve their purpose to get you from a to b dry. but it is good to know that there are more professional (of course more expensive!) trousers out there. so for price versus quality and usefulness these are good. for looks, these certainly miss a star.

Got these overtrousers in wintertime and have had to use through from february till now, May, in some major downpours and heavy syanding water on motorway and other roads. So far, they have been 100% waterprrof. Leathers under have been bone dry with no water pentration at wasist or bottoms. I tuck them in under lather jacket and have an old walking cagoule for top half and have not enjoyed riding in high rain conditions so much as last few months. They fit easily over my leathers as oversized and can take off over boots or pull up and remove bbots first. The only small issue...and it is small for me, they are a bit slippy on seat but only really notice this when first setting off.Thoroughly recommend, especially for the price.

These trousers are much better than I expected. The material is a lot stronger than I expected and they are lined. First of all I bought a pair of Regatta waterproof trousers that were the same price but the material was really thin and because they had zips up the entire leg, they let in the water which meant I had to sit with a wet stripe down my legs all day. I haven't had chance to test these in the rain yet but will update when I have.Well, today I had to ride home in a thunderstorm, the rain was torrential. After arriving home and removing the trousers, I was as dry as when I put them on! They are a great pair, really glad I bought them and will definitely stick with these in the future.

Be warned - style goes out the window with these waterproofs! They are super baggy so that you can get your boots through them, which I guess is not a bad thing, but I don't think they needed to be quite so baggy... I'm a 32 waist and the Medium fits well. They're fairly long so they cover most of your boots. Only worn them once in some light rain so can't vouch for their waterproofness, but the material is very thick so I imagine they would stay dry even in a storm. They compact down to something roughly the size of a 375g packet of mince - in other words they will just about fit under most motorbike seats.

If you have ever ridden a motorcycle you will know that the best protection for your legs is leather. Leather is expensive and not always waterproof. These over-trousers are well priced and roll down really small for easy stowage. You can wear them over your leathers or just over your normal trousers. They have elasticated waist and, importantly, no pockets so the rain stays out. They will probably only last a winter or two but that is all you can expect from any over-trouser of this type. If you want to keep the rain out for a reasonable price then these are an available option.

These are reaaaally waterproof. I've been on my motorbike in some serious rain storms and they held up, the only places i got wet were where the water had ran down from my jacket, the jacket's fault not the trouser. I wasn't sure what to expect as it says textile, i really wouldn't describe these as textile trousers. They're made from high quality waterproof material, but they just feel like most waterproof trousers. If i bought a "textile" jacket and it was made of this material i would send it back, however, I wanted waterproof trousers.. and that's exactly what these are.

This item has got me out of some unexpected weather. I have been riding my bike all over our poor weather 2013 and these were fine. They are definitely waterproof and you will be bone dry underneath. They also keep the wind off so you are comfortable whilst riding, I am on my bike for several hours per week and have not looked back. choose your size carefully as I expect these to get a little bulky. The jacket has the same qualities but has an annoying neck seal which becomes apparent when looking left and right. HOWEVER they do the job.

Bought these as the last 2 from other suppliers had split at Seams after 4-6 months. Double lining, (hopefully will last longer). Easier to put on before fitting boots although they are wide enough at the bottom, with tabs, can wear flared or straight leg.Would have been better with fluorescent stripe down side for safety at night. Logo looks good and stylish overall. Back pocket is nice addition. Not fully tested in heavy rain yet but so far after a few weeks, we’ll pleased with purchase.Arrives with a nice net bag.

Great quality, heavy fabric item. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet, but others have said these trousers are waterproof and I well believe it from the feel of them.I went by the size chart and got my tape measure out. I’m a size 10 in street clothes, but went for the medium trousers to match the sizing chart.I could have easily had a small. That said I won’t be returning the medium as the waist is highly elasticated and whilst they are a tad roomy across the hips, thats never a bad thing when comfort is at stake.

Asked if these fit over race leathers with knee sliders, did not get an answer but decided to purchase anyway. I can now confirm they do fit over knee sliders, great! Dainese Mistel leathers size EU 50 (UK 40), Richa waterproof trousers size M, no problem, good fit. I am 5ft 11, 32” waist, 78kg. Now have the ultimate of race leather protection and armour with fully waterproof trousers (already have a jacket), safer option than textiles. The Richa trousers are a good quality fairly thick material, not just thin PVC.

spot on very good quality ,im a 38w 33leg i bought xl .i wear them over my rst motorbike jeans they are the thick £150 ones these rain over trousers fit perfect they would fit over thicker bottoms aswell as the are elastic waist and the bottoms have velcro just under knee hight and ankles .so they cant flap around and get caught up i cant beleave these are only £20 they also roll up real small so will defo be apart of my rucksack everyday i hope this helps as there seems to be alot of confusion over size !!!

Good sturdy fabric, appears to be waterproof so far. I'm a 36 waist, average height, so possibly a little on the large side for me but still fits ok and fits over my regular clothes and I can also remove them without taking off my boots or shoes which is excellent. Has a drawstring to tighten the elasticated waist, and a hook at the back which is nice for hanging them up without ruining the drawstring. If you don't want to look like a spaceman and you are my size you could probably get the next size down.

I've tried these trousers in heavy rain and they were totally waterproof. I bought one size up just to make sure that they were long enough even with legs bent.I also got into a crash wearing them (slow, at about 25 kph) and although they got a good bashing on the tarmac they only had a small hole in the outer layer over my knee. If I had only been wearing the jeans I had on underneath, the road surface would have gone through to my skin, so these waterproofs were definitely worth the price!

They're goodI ripped open the sides so I could get in my pockets - when I get around to it (once I've done this revue ☺) I'll buy some tent fabric repair to seal up the torn edges - worn these on a bike right through winter in pissing down rain and sub zero with just shorts underneath and they've been spot on (I don't feel the cold much anyways but all the same)Yup they're really good aside from the no side opening bit - but I'll solve that soon
