This is a beautifully styled and crafted jacket, which for me was exactly the right middle ground between sports jackets and full on adventure styled jackets. It's a 3/4 length jacket, so you get good overlap with your trousers, but it not so long that it bunches up irritatingly in your lap when sat on the bike. The elbow and shoulder armour are comfirtable an unobtrusive, however you need to buy the back protector separately - that's an irritation as the jacket is cut to fit with the protector in place so looks baggy without it, and the Dainese protector is another £60. Again, when fitted it is very comfortable. There's enough pockets to carry my phone, wallet, visor cleaning kit etc.

You get what you pay for isn't always the case, but Dainese generally justify the old cliche This is the nicest all-weather jacket I've ever owned - fits as well and as comfortably as leather, generous and comfortable armour, venting and a thermal liner meaning it's been fine from freezing up to 30 degrees C (on the few days a year the latter matters in Britain) and even looks pretty good off the bike even if the shoulder pucks do make you look a bit like a cheap scifi extra.Plenty of storage (although the main pockets are a little low, meaning that if you have bulky stuff in them it'll dig in your leg on the bike) and the whole thing is as waterproof as a mermaid's bikini.

Keeps me waterproof when the weather is bad. Fits me well and feels like the armour will give pleanty of protection should i be knocked off my bike. It does not come with a back protector, but i use the back protector out of my other dainese jacket. The jacket has 3 waterproof pockets so it is good for keeping your phone and other sensitive equipment dry when the weather is less than perfect. Good jacket for the money.

Very warm, waterproof, looks great and fits well ( I am 44 chest and this is a 54, nice fit with room to move). Not sure what else to say but this is a 2 season jacket, autumn and winter, and will easily cope with the coldest of temperatures.

Best purchase I made for my motorbike! It's very comfy, very warm during the winter and it's ok for a summer in Ireland. It has night protection etc.

As my first ever motorcycle jacket I cannot compare with other ones but it is so great and comfortable that hardly I will change it!

Does any one know the equivalent some to a 52 thanks need to do converted sizes on the size options
