THIS ITEM IS MADE IN TWO PARTS THE HANDLE BEING BRAZED ONTO THE SCOOP PART. AS THISIS AN ALESSI PRODUCT I THOUGHT AT LEAST THE JOINTING METHOD WOULD USE THE SAME COLOUR MATERIAL AS THE TWO INDEPENDENT PARTS BUT NO IT IS BRASS COLOUR AND EVEN THOUGH WELL MADE THIS LACK OF CARE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT.
