In our family we each have our own mismatched knife, fork and spoon which we have grown to love and cherish over the years. If I can't use my own favourite cutlery then something seems missing at meal times. But there are times when the old faithful mis-matched cutlery has to be hidden from view and the posh set has to be used whilst entertaining guests.This cutlery set from Zwilling fits the bill nicely. There is nothing fancy about the design, it's more traditional. This cutlery has a good weight to it,

This review is for the Zwilling Newcastle 07167-330-0 Cutlery Set 30 Pieces Polished 18/10 Stainless Steel Silver cutlery set.The cutlery comes two boxes, individually packed, inside an outer box. This is NOT a presentation box as a present but I would say are more intended for the purchaser’s use.This cutlery set quietly states quality, from the look, to the feel of the individual items to the way they clean in a dishwasher without any staining at all. This latter is the most amazing part as a lot of cutlery these days simply do not clean without leaving water/corrosion marks on the, especially, knives. These don’t.They feel good in your hand and handle well. The only caution here is that if you have a large(r)

This cutlery set is high quality, strong and simple. Both my husband and I love the streamline, simple lines; quality, plain and simple. You get the normal 6 place settings of knife, fork, spoon and teaspoon but you also get a little cake fork too, which is really cute and handy when having cake so you don't have to use a full size fork. They are dishwasher safe, which they'd better be in this day and age or we wouldn't want them, lol ;-), why have a dog and bark yourself! At close to £80 they are a considered purchase but I think that they are well worth the money, and I don't say that lightly, I'm tight with my hard earned ;-).

A quality set of cutlery... a step above the cheaper sets you can get from a certain danish furniture store!They fit with lots of other cutlery well as they are simple and plain. They feel good, wash well in the dishwasher and are a good brand - zwilling make all kinds of kitchen items.I would say that it’s a fair price and cheaper than many comparable sets on the high street, (of course there are always ways to find this quality even cheaper if you were willing to go and bargain hunt) and the convenience of having the set delivered it worth something too!Overall, a great set (includes 6 place settings of knife, fork, spoon, teaspoon and cake knife) that looks really expensive.

This cutlery set is fantastic: heavy, quality cutlery with nice solid handles which feel great in your hands. I really like the fact that dessert forks are included, something which not every set contains.I haven't replaced my cutlery since I was about 18 going to university, so it's well overdue an update and what better way to start than with stuff like this! A high quality product - one star knocked off because each item comes in its individual PLASTIC sleeve. We should be beyond this now and using biodegradable materials.

This kit was a godsend at Christmas.We had all the family over so needed more cutlery and this was the first time we had used them. Never before have I been complimented on our cutlery haha.It sounds daft but they just feel very premium and well weighted. The finish is lovely on them and you get a lot for your money. As you can see in the picture.Much cheaper than other brands but feel a lot more expensive than they actually are. Very impressed.

Absolutely stunning daily cutlery set. Perfectly designed and functional. Best ones we’ve owned so far. Excellent quality. Nicely weighted and pleasant to hold. Dishwasher safe. I’m choosing these ones over my other cutlery sets. The cake forks are a nice addition too. Unlikely we will use them as cKe forks but the children are enjoying using them as small “grown up” forks. Would definitely recommend and purchase more.

The cutlery set is presented well it comes in a box then the set is divided between two boxes. There are 6 place settings each containing a knife, fork, spoon, teaspoon and desert fork. The Newcastle design is a contemporary design and should fit in with most home styles. It could be a little weightier but that’s my preference.I think it would impress most guest.Highly recommend this tableware.

Got these on a Black Friday deal as we have a few Zwilling products already. Very stylish and feel solid and well made. We use in the dishwasher and even a few months on they’re still as shiny as when we first purchased.Definitely recommend if you want some stylish cutlery

I don't know anything about silver, so I don't know if they are worth £70! That seems a lot to me!But they are lovely. Really heavy, and feel like great quality. Plain, which I like. Wash well.Very pleased with them.

Stylish, long, shiny. Knives are very properly serrated so they cut superbly. Great purchase.
