Ordered this set of cutlery as needed more for xmas, especially knives. Not disappointed at all. Nice and heavy quality feel, not cheap and tinny feeling. Went in the dishwasher fine without any additional polishing or fiddling about with them. Mind you they've only had one wash so far, but came out nice and shiny.Only thing I would mention is that the dessert spoons are rather smaller than they look in the picture, halfway between a teaspoon size and normal dessert spoon size which is rather strange. The teaspoons are a little on the small side too. But this doesn't bother us as the children will be better with slightly smaller spoons and we have plenty of larger ones anyway.

This has just been delivered. I am over the moon with the quality of these pieces of cutlery. The weight of them assures you that this cutlery has QUALITY written all over it.Smooth, comfortable and easily held stainless steel Table Knives, Table Forks, Dessert Spoons and Teaspoons make up this set of 24 pieces (for 6 people)I had researched this cutlery online for a considerable time before making my mind up to go with this particular Amefa set, due to the well made smooth pieces of cutlery. I bought these after seeing many positive reviews and ignoring the few negatives. I shouldn't have, this a very nice cutlery set, a good weight and nice looking, however they did start to show signs of rust and discolouring after the first wash. No point waiting for them all to turn out the same, so just going to send them back. Tried to clean them again with a cloth, it helped a little but not enough. Disappointed, but to summarise, buy them if your not intending on putting them in a dishwasher.edit.After ordering an 18/10 stainless steel set for twice the price (see my other reivew), I now think this is good value for money. It hasn't rusted/discoloured anymore like i thought it would.

We are using cutlery bought as a wedding present 45 years ago, but are suffering from the missing spoon and knife syndrome. So, we decided to buy new and find soemthing that was as near as we could get to the Viners set we have. Extremely pleased with these. A good weight and well balanced so easy to hold. They look good and having been washed up - by hand - every day since we got them, there are no problems. Granted the spoons are a bit different, but the dessert spoon, although looking smaller is more than adequate. All in all an excellent buy and especially at the price. If you are thinking about ordering them, do it, you will not be disappointed.

This cutlery looks good so far. It is stylish. The handles are easy to hold. There are no patterns on the cutlery for tea stains to get trapped in and discoloured (don't you just hate that).I don't have a dishwasher so I do not know how it would get on with that but I am satisfied so far.I bought it when it was on sale and it is a bargainThe packaging it arrived in was sufficient and not excessive either.It did arrive 2 days early which threw me - as I had made special arrangements for the day I was told it was going to arrive, when I was due to be out. But htat is a very minor niggle

We bought this Amefa cutlery set as it matched a similar set purchased from another shop and we would run out of the first cutlery before the dishwasher was full. We like the style of the Amefa set with the modern thin, straight handles giving cutlery that is sturdy but lightweight. This set was brilliant value for money on Amazon compared to other similar looking cutlery from other stores. We have dishwashed the cutlery a few times and the pieces have kept the same sparkle and shine. Hopefully this will continue into the new year, but so far so good!

I wanted to upgrade my cutlery and as exciting as cutlery may or may not be, it was something that was long overdue. After a fair amount of researching, as I normally do before buying anything, this seemed like a fair priced modern and simply designed set in comparison to other products out there. I wasn't disappointed: Stainless Steel and clean lines mean the cutlery is easy to keep clean and is versatile for whatever look you may want to achieve in your home. Definitely recommended!

This is a fantastic substitute for the real thing. Did excellent service over the holiday period and guests made very good comments. At a quick glance you could mistake this set for the real thing and it's only when you pick up a piece that you realise it's not. I really can recommend this product for parties, barbecues and any other occasion when you want to save on the washing up! It arrived in very good time and was well packaged. I shall certainly use again for future parties.

My favourite set ever, and I've owned a few. Heavy, clean, contemporary and simple enough to go with any style of dish, excellent price, wish I'd gotten the 8-piece set, they look as if they cost a lot, super quality, no scuffs or scratches, but I don't put them in the dishwasher because I've found, by experience, that the detergent and heat destroys stainless over time by spotting, scratching, even splitting and rusting

The perfect weight you are expecting on cutlery. I was really worried as I had seen there were some comments on how light-weight these were, but I definitely think they have the perfect weight required (they are a little bit heavier than regular cutlery, which makes it nice)They look amazing on the table and we always get several comments on them, a nice touch for your table !

Had this cutlery for a while now and it still looks like new. Goes in the dishwasher ok - sometimes need to just give a knife a bit of a scrub with a pan scrub to remove a little staining from being left in the dishwasher too long but it always comes up lovely. Really recommend this cutlery set - lovely to use and looks great.

I love this cutlery set. It looks great and it has a good balance so doesnt fall off my plate like my previous cutlery. I love the spoons and the dessert spoon is a nice small size, the handles are easy to hold too. I would highly recommend this set. I may even get another set!

We were looking for a heavier cutlery set and liked the look of these. They are of a good quality and look more expensive than they are. The dessert/soup spoons are smaller than standard ones. Loss of 1 star due to heat transferring to handles, for example when making a cuppa.

We have been having this set for a couple of months now and so go so far. We don't have a dishwasher so we only wash by hands and they haven't got a single mark for now. I like the shape and weight in my hand, not too heavy even tho the size. Pleased with the purchase!

I bought x2 sets of these 6 years ago and now having to re-buy. It says they have a 25yr guarantee but that hasn't stopped me from losing all the forks. In future, I would suggest including tracking devices in the folks. Thanks.
