This set is great for an everyday set with a touch of luxury by V&B. I looked at Villeroy & Bochs other sets which have too much grandeur if your eating Beans on Toast but ideal for guests, whereas this set covers both bases really. Yes they're not as weighty as other sets and some have said they scratch easily, which is overcome if you use a sponge on them. V happy
