I bought this to replace a WMF slotted fish slice which I used all the time and, unfortunately, broke whilst attacking a very nasty baked on roasting tin. I admit I was surprised to see WMF break at all as they are fantastic products, but as I had had it for over five years and it seems to have been withdrawn from sale, I forgave them and repurchased what would appear to be the replacement for it. WMF are very good quality kitchen utensils and never lose their 'as new' sparkle regardless of how many times they're used and washed in the dishwasher. This is the most versatile fish slice you could find and I use it daily for all manner of cooking tasks.

Got a global fish slice which inevitably will last longer but for the price this item seems of good quality, was concerned about the handle to utensil area as can stress and break with flexing and although not fully forged seems robust enough to pass the test!

Excellent lifting tool, flexible and not too wide for smaller frying pans, for lifting everything from fried eggs to cakes if necessary.
