I wouldn't usually ask for a present of perfume not knowing what it smelt like before so when I received this as a Solstice gift from my Husband, I was a bit wary. First impressions were, how beautiful the bottle was and I have never seen another perfume house use a clip on the neck of the bottle before. This enables the user to get the porcelain bottle out of the black box with ease.My first spray was met with an 'ewwww, doesn't it whiff' and I really thought I wasn't going to like it. However, after about 5 minutes the 'notes' started to settle down and the fragrance subtley started to change and it grew on me (not literally).

Received this item promptly, was a blind buy, I had read the reviews and know a friend who adores it, but never tried it myself. Having said that I already loved the brand and am thrilled with the perfume!If I had one word to describe this scent it would be 'woodsy'. I'm in my 20s and absolutely love it. Its a lot more stylish and elegant smelling than a lot of other sexy perfumes out there, this one is distinctive and different. Starts a bit bitter and sharp (which personally I like), then warms over an hour or so to a lovely round, musky smell. Lasted well on my skin too. Love the bottle and packaging. This one is typically an evening scent I would say,

I love true aromatic rose scents, hence this is one of my favourite perfumes of all time.It's true Turkish & Bulgarian rose with a very slight hint of fresh tobacco for me. It's like how I imagine a luxurious perfume from a century ago would have smelled back then. Sensual, natural, feminine, robust and expertly blended. The dry down smells more gentle than when first applied.I love the fact that it's got strength too. So many purfumes these days last an hour tops. I find that this one is much longer lasting, as a perfume should be.

When you first put this on it smells like something you might use to tar roads with, not an encouraging start then. Give it a half an hour though and the real thing starts to show itself, I have many different types of perfume, but none of them scream 'sex' the way this does. I often catch a whiff of it just from having the bottle in my bedroom and it stands out head and shoulders above the others. I don't believe it is one for everyday use but if you feel it is time for some male attention this is just the job.

After finding the reviews of this perfume by chance and noting that all the ingredients were the type I would normally go for I decided to buy it blind. I usually wear chanel Allure and Coco, also Clinique Aromatics Elixir and really struggle to find perfume that doesn't smell 'off' on my skin.I was quite sure I would love it but a little concerned by some of the negative reviews. I needn't have worried, it arrived today, 2 days after ordering it and I absolutely love it. Good find :) My new favourite.

Excellent and lovely fragrance and good value tooWasn't sure what to expect - saw this advertised in Stella Magazine and thought would give it a tryIt is more an evening perfume but strong initial smell mellows after a while andevery so often you can get a whiff of it - so it has staying power - lovely to use day or nightand don't find it too overpoweringBeautifully packed and arrived intactDelivery within specified timeframe tooVery happy with product and service - thankyou!

This is quite a strong perfume. It can appear overpowering when it is first worn, but like most perfumes after it settles it smells better. I am not a perfumer so don't feel able to say 'has woody undertones and hints of bergamot etc etc' but I like it and the grenade style bottle fits nicely in my bag. Some reviews say old fashioned small - not sure what is old fashioned in the world of perfume but I know people from early 30's that wear it. It's all about personal taste.

I have been wearing this Eau de Parfum for many years now and get many comments from people I meet in daily life about how lovely I smell......nice to have compliments!Very few perfumes now smell good on me and I think this is due to skin changes as we age. I would always suggest trying before buying, but have found the Internet and Amazon in particular are a safe and positive way of purchasing at a discount.Do try this delicious perfume and see how you like it.......

Lovely perfume so refreshing would like to add when delivered by europcar the gentleman rang the door bell twice got up to answer door in doing so found the man looking in my front window waving his arms about, told him that I don't take kindly to people looking in my front window it's unacceptable,(what if I had been sitting there with little clothing on), just making you aware of it as this is first time this has happened all other deliveries have given with Courtsey.

I love this perfume wasn't sure as I didn't know anyone who used it, hence buying the purse size to try. When I first used it couldn't place the smell and then it hit me parma violets but it then develops into a sensual sexy perfume for me. It is also quite strong when you first put on, but it lasts all day. Recommend it if you are of strong personality, can't see a wilting violet liking it. But I love it.Will request someone buy me the full size for Christmas. Lol.

I read the comments from the ladies about wearing this perfume in the 80's but I don't recall this one. I ordered it because of the reviews and boy were they right its a very heavy lingering smell you only need a small amount. I love it but its not for the faint hearted. My daughter said I smell like a cheap tart! Made me smile but I get what she means, but at least she wont be pinching it!!! I would recommend it for the older lady (Im 45) its lush!

I first smelt this scent when a friend bought me an Agent Provocateur candle and that got me hooked. I absolutely love it. I can understand some people not choosing this becuase it does have a very particular note to it. It's not one of those wishy washy scents where there's not much to like or dislike. Many people have complimented me on the scent which has to be a good indication.Beautiful bottle too. I know I will buy this product again.

The product was well packaged and arrived promptly. I thought that tis was a great price for this product as I have bought tis before in a department store for much more money, its one of my favouritefragrances, I was a little sceptical about my purchase as its described here as coming from Elisabeth Arden which is not true!! Was very relived to se that it was indeed what I was hoping it was which is Agent Provocateur by Agent Provocateur!!

Came as described!!! ??Age for this perfume could be +25years. It smells very strong so you don’t need much to spray all over.This perfume last +6hr on body, I do have dry skin maybe it will last longer on different bodies. It smells like church.. then after 30min smells like leather/wood and shaffron and menthol then after few hours it turning into sweet side like soap or morning sea breeze. Very interesting perfume and good price.
