It's not brass, it's gold, and it's a bit too shiny for my taste, but it's simply and elegantly designed, fun to use and makes drinking tap water feel like a luxury, without your drinking pleasure being marred by any 'plastic footprint' guilt. I was expecting a spare gasket to be included but couldn't find one anywhere among the packaging, but having contacted the company via the website with a different enquiry, I know they respond to requests. I've calculated that, if it carries on working for a year and a half I'll have saved money over my old favourite sparkling water and I'd say it looks built to last rather longer than that.

It looks really nice and feels sturdy, easy to use and so far working well, but the carbonated bottle is a let down. I’ve had it since January 2020 and really only begun using it recently with the warm weather. The bottle looks very nice but stainless steel part at the bottom of the bottle had fallen off and doesn’t look like it was ever glued on. The stainless steel screw cap is just twisting and twisting for ages until eventually with the right pressure finally comes off. It’s rubbish. For nearly £30 to replace it gave an additional bottle I think it’s massively over priced and Aarke really should look at this.

It isn't really worth the price tag in my opinion, but if you want a sleek and premium looking alternative to a plastic'y SodaStream (and you can afford it) this is definitely the right choice for you! The 1lt bottle is a little large for my liking as I prefer to gas and drink straight away, rather than gas the water and store it in the fridge. To this end, I bought a pack of 2x plastic 500ml(450ml) sodastream bottles for under a tenner, and can confirm that they fit the Aarke just fine. Overall we are very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I love this. The machine itself looks and plays the part - sleek and stylish and delivers super, carbonated water. The bottle supplied feels good quality although the base on my one is glued on squint, so the bottle stands at a funny angle. I don’t use that one in any case as it’s too big for me to carry around. I use the smaller sodastream ones that I bought separately. Now I can enjoy sparkling water without contributing massively to the plastic blight.

Cant believe i have messed around with Soda streams for 5 years they are built poorly (3 in 5 years broken and they are not cheap ) This machine is outstanding total Quality from top to toe made of stainless steel not cheap plastic and the water is totally different to soda stream it actually carbonates the water properly..pay the extra you wont be dissapointed...its perfect!!

Umming and Ahhing for a while because of the price and it's only water after all and even soda-stream was considered too frivolous in my household growing up. But then fizzy water is great but heavy and all that single use plastic..... Anyway, bought it and am very glad I did. It's a beautiful thing and a joy to use. The novelty has not worn off. My blood is fizzing.

This is a great looking product there's no doubt. It's not as robust as I thought it would be. However, it does what it's supposed to do. It ought to come with at least 2 bottles as well as a cartridge given the price but I knew it didn't when I ordered and took the plunge anyway as I didn't want a horrible plastic appliance like most others produce.

I bought this to help reduce my coke a cola fizz addiction and guess what... it’s perfect! Looks great in my kitchen and the quenches my thirst, it’s healthy and also environmentally friendly. Say goodbye to single use plastic bottles. Get eat investment and I’m so happy o paid a little extra and purchased this over a SodaStream machine.

A solid piece of kit which has not lost CO2 like the earlier model was reported to do. The bottles are expensive (one is included) but they look the part and hold the carbonation properly. This is quite expensive, but it looks expensive too. If you want a carbonator that looks fantastic in a sleek, modern kitchen then this is it.

This product is expensive, sure. But the build quality is second no none and I have no doubt that I'll have this machine for many years to come. It looks great in the kitchen, too. So happy that I spent the extra money and didn't just opt for a Sodastream.

Very good carbonator. We thought this was the black chrome version but it isnt. We have since bought an extra bottle as the bottle although is 1L can only be filled 800ml for carbonation. Bought this instead of a soda stream as it looks so good.

Nice addition to the kitchen counter. Gas bottle refills are easy to come by! I'd recommend getting >1 of the plastic water bottles if you have a family.

A really good, better looking and more robust alternative to the soda stream machines. My only complaint is the lack of dishwasher proof bottles.

It’s pricey compared to Soda stream but looks much more premium . Easy to use , feels robust . Compatible with soda stream co2 cartridge .

Absolutely amazing to look at, Sodastream tastes better for some reason. Love it though and looks beyond amazing and contemporary.
