YSL has wisely taken the step of bringing back the long discontinued Yvresse. This perfume was originally called Champagne, but the actual makers of champagne the drink objected to a perfume of the same name and so Champagne was renamed Yvresse.Yvresse is a beautiful scent, full of peaches, with notes of jasmine, roses, iris and violet. It beds down into a base of oakmoss, amber and moss. It lasts for many hours and takes me right back to the 90s when so many women wore Champagne!I'm giving four stars instead of five as some purists claim this version is not quite the same as the version that was discontinued, but personally, I couldn't tell the difference.

I used to wear this for years when it was marketed under the name ‘Champagne ‘, was gutted when I thought YSL had stopped making it & overjoyed to find out it was renamed under ‘Yvesse’, this wasn’t available for long though, so back to gutted. Years later I don’t know what made me google it but so happy it came up on Amazon! Was dubious to start with as I’ve been caught before on imitations, especially as whole packaging has changed but it is definitely the original. Has now become my signature fragrance again & great that hardly anyone else has discovered it!

Purchased this for my mother as she used to wear Champagne when I was young. After the name change she hadn’t been able to find it in the shops. I got it as a surprise for her birthday and while the bottle is now sleek and modern, the smell was so familiar and nostalgic! She wears it all the time now and is so happy with it.

This is by far my favourite perfume and it cannot be purchased over the counter anymore so I am very pleased that I can still acquire it online. I get many compliments when wearing it but it has been about many years so younger people are not familiar with it.

Mum wanted this perfume as the last time it was bought for her was by my dad who passed in 1999 and I thought perfect for Mother’s Day. It was well packaged and arrived in plenty of time. Mum was very happy. Thank you.

I love the fact that although it’s an EDT it is a long lasting scent. Love the fact that it contains nectarine and lychee, & patchouli. It has a very distinctive smell.

Been wearing this perfume on and off for so long. Since it was called Champagne. Still makes me feel good and it’s the one perfume that people always say is lovely.

Gorgeous perfume my favourite ive used this from way back when it was called champagne but it is cheaper to purchase from YSL website its £77 with free delivery.

My signature purfume, glad YSL decided to bring this back into their range. If you have'nt tried you are missing a treat. Prompt delivery and very well packed

Bought for my wife...she used to love Champagne by YSL and this is actually the same and massively cheaper than the now discontinued Champagne fragrance.
