My daughter likes word search puzzle books so got this for her. It is a very simple game to play, but it gets her away from the computer screen and she can play with others. Easy to put together, it comes with a selection of cards based upon a theme like animals, cities etc. Each player has coloured discs that look similar to contact lenses. The plastic is turned to reveal the first word. When you see the word you call out and place your colour counters over the letters. The board is turned slightly to reveal the next word. This is repeated until all the words are used up. The winner is either the one with the most coloured counters on the board or the one who has used all their counters.Due to the board turning, you will be looking at the board at many different angles. Some words will stand out, others will be harder to find. It was fun playing this game, and it is not electronic at all.You will use up all the boards sooner rather than later, but you can purchase

I bought this as a birthday present for my 11 year old niece - she had entered a competition to win one and didn't, so was disappointed. The game basically consists of who is the first to see the words, as in a wordsearch book - there are 20 different inserts with different themes and you clip a different one in every time. Each player has a set of coloured discs and you cover the word with these when you spot it first and the the winner is the one with the most discs on the board at the end. So it's quite simple but if you love wordsearch puzzles, which my niece does, you'll enjoy it - you could play it alone as well, I suppose. She's very pleased with it and can beat me hands down!

Got this as we homeschool our 3 children. We have a nearly 7yr old nearly 6 yr and a nearly 3yr old so like to feel were doing the right thing by buying stuff we can play but also incorporate into learning. This is a great addition for us all the first time we played it the kids were so happy to find the words, we just played at first by finding the words one by one then as they get better then we will play by the real rules off the game. Also purchased the ad on pack so we have loads of time to spend with this great game. 10/10 from my whole family.

I bought this for my 7 year old Granddaughter who has the reading and writing bug "big time".We played this game over Christmas and was amazed at how much fun the game was.Lots of counters so that 4 people can play. We was amazed at the number of games available to play.Every word disc is double sided and they all have a theme running through the words to find. E.g. Kitchen, animals, music, body parts etc...Very easy to pick up and play within a couple of minutes, a thoroughly enjoyable educational game.

My son saw this advertised on television and his era lit up when he saw it and he constantly asked for this game until I eventually bought it for him.I thought this would be rubbish but boy was I wrong! Multiplayer word search is WAAAYYYY more fun than I had imagined with each person racing to find the words first. It’s easy to setup and will provide hours of fun with its multiple cards with load screen of words on it. A great gift and has provided us with a lot more fun than I expected.

We bought this to play with our 93 year old Mum who likes solving these puzzles in newspapers and magazines, and I must say it seemed to be a hit, albeit a bit fiddly putting the plastic discs over the words when found, and even more so when you have to remove one of your opponents discs and replace it with your own, Discs can go flying, as can tempers. So not good for children or adults with dexterity problems. Over all thĺough a good game.

I played this game with my nephew who is 10yrs old. It was great fun and the room was full of laughter. I purchased several more including the junior version. For Christmas presents. I have no doubt there will be competitive fun with adults and children playing the same game. It is also a learning game, learning should be fun and with so many on line games now, to actually play a board game as a family or with friends is becoming rare.

We got this game for Christmas and it was really good fun playing it. We all enjoy word searches and this game is exactly what we wanted. It even made my daughter who doesn't like reading involved which was a great bonus. The only fault is the little chips you put on the words are a bit thin and we had couple of them broken when we opened the game. It wasn't a big problem as we had plenty of them. Overall great fun for all.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our grandson who loves games. It’s a great way to increase word skills in children, and we adults enjoyed it too - not as easy to find the words as you think! If I have one niggle it is that, once the coloured covers are on the letters, it is quite difficult to see what the letters are unless you are looking directly down on them. Easier if played on the floor.

Mum loves wordsearches in books so got this as something different. Very simple to put together. Comes with different discs with different themes. The counters are strange and fiddly - like hard plastic contact lenses! All in all i would think this great for kids, to get them used to spotting words without use of electronic devices. Perhaps a bit basic for most adults but great for a family of mixed ages.

This was a gift for our grandson. Whilst his reading is good his spelling does not come up to the same standard, so we thought it would be good idea to teach him to spell whilst learning.....what we didn't expect was everyone else to become so competitive at it!!! Has bee great fun and would highly recommend it if not for helping your children then just for the fun!!

Bought this game for my sister and the who,e family loved it. My sister has Down's syndrome so it is helping teach her to spell and recognise words. It's fantastic for her but has been a laugh for our competitive family too. Would definitely recommend it to children and adults alike. My husband even managed to turn it into a drinking game on Christmas. :-)

This game is a "simple" word search, however due to the fact it is a race against your against your opponent(s) to find the word shown, it can become a manic shifting of eyes from letter to letter. My wife and I play this quite often and enjoy it :-) I think the Kids would like it also - although watch for the arguments as to who got the word first :-D

Our family had a trial run on boxing day and thoroughly enjoyed playing. We introduced a bell rather than just shouting out. Meaning hit the bell first gives the player first opportunity to identify the word. Also best if all players are facing the board the same side as trying to read upside down or side ways is a disadvantage.Good competitive fun.

I bought this for my son for xmas. He loves word games especially ones that the whole family can play. We had such a laugh playing such a simple game. He even made up a new set of rules for it so he could challenge himself more. For instance using a timer and setting himself goals to complete the puzzles faster. Excellent game.
