Delivery of this item was a bit weird. When I ordered it, it said it was coming by royal mail. Got msg from amazon saying it was on its way, got msgs from them for next 5 days telling me where it was, I live in Doncaster and at one bit it was in Leeds, not to far away, then it went to Merseyside!!!. Eventually it was delivered by royal mail and got a msg from amazon saying they had delivered it and how did they do... I bought for husband he loved it, it looks very nice and I think its very good for the price. No grumbles at all. If I needed another I would definitely buy this again

Having just come back from a holiday in turkey where everybody seemed to be playing this game, I thought I'd get one for myself. The Backgammon/chess board set is excellent, well made, and great value for money. It arrived promptly and is used most days,backgammon is great for the grandkids to play, they haven't quite got to grips with chess yet and want to use the dice, maybe someone could invent a chess game using a dice to give novices a chance to win!!

i was very surprised by size of it. its big. and its good that is big. chess figures are very standard so its easy to "read" them. vanish is not really strong part of this product but fortunately is wearing off quiet fast and wood is about to look natural and bit vintage.... i mean russian or east germany vintage: in general you got no chance to find anything better for this money. its all made from wood (apart of dices :))

This backgammon game is beautifully made. I especially like that it comes in a suitcase you can carry everything in you need to play. The only disappointment are the dice cups. There're plasric; not leather and one was already broken when it arrived.

Well made board with sturdy chess pieces with good weight. Backgammon boatd isn't quite so good. the shakers don't quite feel big enough. I recommend this if you play a lot od chess but backgammon players might want to look elsewhere.

I bought this for my brother who has been looking for a wooden backgammon set for ages. He seemed to really like it and it did appear to be a solid wood set, as opposed to some out there which were 'wood effect'.

check the dimensions as this is really large. it can be hard to judge the quality of wooden products on line, but is genuinely well made, and good quality for the price.

Product arrived within time, was well packed, and of good quality. My daughter is getting a lot of enjoyment playing the game. Ideal Christmas present.

Bought this for my 10 year old grandson. He was delighted with it. Very good quality. He should have many years of enjoyment with it.

Product came in one piece, however packaging was roughed up a fair bit. Hopefully some bubble wrap would have been a good choice ;)

This box is smart and well made. Unfortunately it does not carry any spares, nor have any instructions included. Good fun
