There are a number of RTS games available for PC at the moment, but few even attempt to simulate reality or current events.Will of Steel is an ideal choice for gamers seeking a more intellectual approach to their RTS. There's no resource gathering or basic "ZERG" tactics in this one. You have to think each mission through as you play it, which makes for a wonderfully refreshing change.On to the voice control aspect of the game. The headset included is of a surprisingly decent quality for a freebie. It takes a while to get used to barking orders at your troops and vehicles, but they DO actually respond to your frantic commands during battle.Three missions later,

First of all I have to say thanks to the guys at Will of Steel for giving us a free headset, the headset is good quality and I can now use this for other things I was planning to do such as telephone calls over the net etc. So thanks!Secondly having played the game for a few hours this morning I musts say Im really impressed, the intro and the graphics are brilliant, you can zoom in on your units and watch them, tanks leave small tracks in the dust and rock when they stop. Some really nice touches.Looking forward to the rest of the game, I will write a more in-depth review when I have played some more. But so far so good and thanks again for the Headset!

I was just browsing new Real-time strategy ttles and found this. I wanted to cheko it out since it was cheap.The game came with a free earphones which is a nice added bonus.Although they ae not high quality they are useful.Overall the game is decent. The grafics are clear and the gamplay solid with some nice extras like special options and voice ordrering of units. I had a probelm with unit pathfinding and had to download the patch from GMX to fix it.For the price, the game is worth getting if for nothing else then to get the earphones.I hope they have some more missions planned as an addon beacuse I am already half way finished.

As a fan of the genre I have been following this game for a long time now. The screens and movies I seen were excelent.I got the game and have played it for about 5 hours now. As I expected, the graphics are very nice and detailed, even the game mechanics are quite good but there are several problems.1. No way to customize your units - I want to be able to choose and change them2. Too few cut-sceenes. While the movies are excelent, there aren't enough of them3. User interface could use a face lift : ))Overall I do like the game since it's diffrent and has some new elements like the voice activation

I have played the game for about 5 hours now. When it first started I was really impressed with the quality and detail of graphics. Usualy strategy games have average graphics at best, this game has very detailed ingame objects.The strategy part itself is also very good although I must say it's not anything completely new. The weapons you control and commands you can issue are standard which is fine with me, I guess that's just how new strategy games are. And the voice system is interesting, it lets you say your commands instead of typing or clicking, nice.

I decided to get this game when the price was cut. I had heard about it and wanted to try but didn't fancy paying fortune.I like how it's played with a headset, it's very diffrent kind of gameplay. It also makes it harder to control all the units at least in the begining.My my main complaint so far is that the levels are too short, I got through 3 levels in 4 hours. Hope the next 13 levels are much more difficult. I do like the graphics. For the current price I say it's worth it.

I really like this game. As some reviews mentioned, the game has some issues but I didn't find them too bad.I really enjoyed the detailed graphics and units design. The developer deserves praises for trying out something new with the voice control system. If you are into modern wars, this game is fun and after some time it becomes acctually adictive.

This is one of those very unique games. At first i didn't know how to use the headset and the voice control - but when I got it, it was a blast! It's much more easy to control and order units and faster too.Other things regarding this game are good as well with some minor bugs but overall very nicely done game.
