This is an expensive satellite receiver and not for the user who just wants to plug it in and watch some programs. I added an extra card when ordered to allow terrestrial reception through a standard aerial , and the supplier fitted this for me. Being 4K capable this allow use of 3840X2160 resolution on my 4K TV so image quality is excellent provided the source TV channel is broadcasting good pictures.Being a Linux based device gives huge flexibility for the computer literate owners. There are at least four different open source images available and the user can choose which one suits his/her needs by loading each one and evaluating the functions it provides from their very different user interfaces.
