Wow. I love this toy, and I can’t believe what good value for money it is. Even at the RRP I think it is good value – a perfect present for a Birthday or Christmas, and ideal for a child to give to another as a party gift. It comes nicely boxed AND a battery is already installed. It had not occurred to me, when I ordered it, that a battery was needed for the sound and light….. and there is nothing worse than giving a child a battery operated toy without a battery. I’d always rather pay a bit extra for every toy to have the relevant batteries included.This toy, although shown as a car in the listing, comes nicely packaged as a dinosaur, but it does not take much effort to convert it into a car.

My 4 year old son LOVES cars so Transformers were a logical choice when it came to birthday presents. The thing with Transformers is they were a little expensive for what they were and showed no educational features which I fell is important with anything we buy our kids at this age.When my son spotted one of these, it was the perfect choice; sturdy, educational, and great value for money, with the added bonus of featuring his new love Dinosaurs!Thoroughly recommend for youngsters with a vivid imagination and a penchant for anything vehicular! My son must have transformed it back and forth a thousand time since we bought it a couple of months ago!!

Didn't really know much about these toys but my 3 year old grandson loves them, which means I love them too. I ordered three for him as a Christmas present and we were amused by the interaction between the toys. However, we ended up "separating" them because they talk to each other - there is an off switch but this is underneath the tie wrap which fastens them to the box. Very sturdy and well made. I have left the same review for the other two Dinos

Why does this toy have an Old English thespian doing the voice? I’m not complaining at all as what was meant to be a present for my nephew turned out to be a hilarious night for myself and my girlfriend as we sat and listened to the numerous statements young/Old? Abner has programmed.“HELLO YOUNG SIR!! I’M A HERBIVORE AND THAT MEANS I ONLY EAT PLANTS!” ??Buy yourself some weed and you won’t regret this excellent toy.

This whole range of transformable dinosaurs are great to collect for kids, we have loads, they get played with alot, they are robust and they love the fact they transform. This does have a purpose as it's developing their coordination and hand strength. These toys encourage their imaginations and whether they are playing alone or in a group (I'm a childminder and have loads some days) these toys are very popular.

I love this range of toys. I actually bought this for a friend's boy aged 5, as my own son had received a different Switch & Go Dinosaur for his birthday and was totally won over by it. I got great feedback from it and heard it was also a success with him. The price was so good that I stocked up on them whilst on offer, so I would always have one in for the next party.

It's quite small but a nice toy. I bought for my 3 year old who really likes it but it is a little bit fiddly and hard for him right now. However he is starting to get the idea. I'm slightly worried about how sturdy it is and whether he might pull bits off it such as the little car windows but so far so good. I think probably more ideal for 5+.

Haven't played with this one myself but my son has anther and as this one was on offer, I thought it a bargain gift for one of his friends. It *does* make sounds (one reviewer said it didn't) and I'm happy with the build quality of my son's similar toy. Arrived promptly and well-packaged. I'm sure the birthday boy will be very pleased :)

My 3 year old LOVES this transformer. It changes from a car to a dinosaur, lots of little parts to move so not too simple but just enough for my little boy to be entertained, and it makes noises and speaks. It was perfect for what we wanted and was impressed with the quality for the price. Will be buying more of this range.

Not as good as the other Switch & Go Dinos my son has. This one doesn't have any of the sounds and display that the others have but it was cheaper than the usual ones. My son likes it but i would not purchase one like this again as it just doesnt seem as robust as the others.

Ordered for xmas for my little boy who is 3, he loves it is easy to use and his 6 year old sister also loves it think will be buying some more of these as ordered when on offer so was great quality for the price always find vtech are a good choice, would recommend this

A lot smaller than I expected, was expecting it to be the same size as the transforming cars my son had already. It's ok but looks a bit cheap, and it doesn't make any sounds. It's not as well built as the others. Son still likes it so I guess that's all that matters

My kids LOVE these dinosaurs. They fight over them constantly because they want them all. They get very creative making part-transformations so they can have another mode to play with it in. Definitely recommend. The voice scared the baby though.

Love this. Bought it for a 3 year old who loved the more fiddly transformers an older friend of his had, but his little hands couldn’t really do them. This is perfect for him, just the right level. He’s carried it round constantly since!
