I looked at this as a usual add-on to provide coverage for a pretty flat area of Horizon 2000 scenery. What I got was an extremely detailed rendition verging on art! I have to hand it to the Aerosoft team; You have to fly around this slowly in a rotorcraft to fully appreciate its level of detail. Housing estates look real, the whole city has a solid feel, the buildings are recognisable down to the high resolution facades and the trees have a far superior look. It also has a brilliant guide on optimising frame rate.Negatives: You need to turn off the collision detection to get in close to avoid the usual "oh S***, I never hit that!" syndrome, frames take a hit unless your system is relatively modern, the buildings abruptly stop at the limit of this add-on, Not enough hospital/corporate helipads to land on.I run it on a modern business desk-top not designed for games - Win7, with 6GB ram, 1 GB video, twin screen, Saitek controls - nothing OOT, and can get 20 FPS with water on 1X and all traffic off, all other sliders right!Overall, I would highly recommend this add-on: London is finally real...

I looked at the reviews and thought you would need a good gaming pc to handle the FPS but for me It run brilliantly! all I have is a amd athlon II Quad core, ati 5450 and 4gb of ram. This add on makes default London look like fs2000 The amount of detail gone into to this is truly something and for the price it's amazing. But If you are gonna buy this add-on you're gonna need any sought of short range plane like a A318 or RJ100. But you have to buy this from bigsidney. I ordered it at 9:00 and got dispatched at 9:30 at night!!!! and came a day later and aerosoft it's self is a great company but before you buy be sure you pc can cope with the secenery a good way to see if you pc can take it wouldbe to go on uk2000 website and download any London Gatwick if it runs fine then your good to go and buy this bad boy but I can say 90% your pc can run this unless it is over 5 years old Thanks for reading and happy virtual flying!!!!

As a highly detailed work for FSX, this is pretty good, and no user of the rest of the Horizon VFR scenery will want to be without it. However, be aware that there's a lot in it and it may kill your framerates (not a huge problem unless you're trying to land!) or even crash FSX. On my "reasonable" system, I tend to turn traffic off, avoid panning views around too quickly and, for backup, have an autosave programme running. This usually gets me across London safely while enjoying the views of this fine scenery! If textures start disappearing and things start stuttering, you're probably heading for trouble. Save your situation, turn the virtual cockpit off, look straight ahead and hope for the best!I don't want to put people off this product, because it looks amazing to fly over - just be aware that you might have to be an experienced simmer who doesn't mind tweaking settings etc, in order to get the best out of it!

Bought this to add that final bit of pleasure of flying the final approach to heathrow over London - especially at dusk after a long flight - well worth it for FSX London arrivals.

Best bit of sceney on the market-a must for all Flight Simmers who have a reasonably fast PC. Makes all the difference and looks the real thing
