Flight 1 always produce/publish quality flight sim software which is the reason why I bought this after reading a couple of reviews. Pilatus is not a very well known manufacturer of planes but this one in the real world is called the 'Swiss Army Knife of Aeroplanes' with good reason. The software package simulates passenger, freight and night surveillance Police models so there is plenty to go at. When parked on the ground there is a red carpet or packages on the ramp depending on the version. Visually the plane is very good, sounds and animations are great and there is quite a lot of pilot activity needed to prep the flight etc.Just before I wrote this I thought that the cockpit was a little too bland and straight edged but when I checked out real cockpit shots, that is exactly what it is like - very functional and workmanlike. The real plane is designed to be flown by one pilot so alot of systems are automated which actually makes this a very good step up aircraft from the defaults in FSX. I think I like this alot because the sounds and graphics are good but also the capability of the plane allows you to fly at good speed over 1200nm but then land at a very small runway at 80knots. It can handle rough strips too so it really is that Swiss Army Knife. There is lots going for it and the manual is crammed with performance graphs and specs etc if you want to delve that far. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is that I would have liked a few more buttons to be functional but really it is a good fun sim and not too taxing to get into. It is not that expensive so it is a thumbs up from me!

My son had been invited into a PC-12 whilst we were on a visit to Scone airport - and he loves this sim! Easy to fly for a beginner - and a challenge for the aspiring 'real' pilot (the dad...)Excellent pilot manual, reliable performance, a good step up from the 'stock' Cessa Caravan.Weather radar excellent too...
