I bought the packod samples (Perfume, Boduy lotion etc) for my Grand-daughter's wedding three yeats ago. She was getting married in Blenheim Palace, so I wanted something very special, and this was it! Since then I have always had it for "best". I treated myself to a bottle for this Christmas, as I was running out and was delighted with the price. I am a regular shopper with Amazon as I am not so fit as I was and shop online. It is so lovely to look and smell my best when on the rare occasions,, I am able to go "out" As long as you stock it, I will definitely buy it. Thank you Amazon and Van Cleef and Arpels!

This is such a classic fragrance - I have had so many complements while wearing it. I wear it at work and am always being asked what it is.It's an intriguing, very sophisticated fragrance. Not too flowery or too musky or too citrussy - just lovely.Fortunately it's not widely available and so I can keep it to myself!I also have some of the First Bouquet fragrance, also by Van Cleef and Arpels and that is nice too, but more floral. Some sellers on Amazon mix these two up, so check the name to make sure you get the one you intend!

I began using `First`, in 1997, having used Madame Rochas, Guerlain, and Christian Dior as my favourites. I came across it by chance in an airport, and was immediately hooked, using it ever since, most particularly when am going somewhere in the evening, in a ball gown or something similar, as the muskiness of this perfume lingers through the evening, particularly when you get warm. I am told, it is quite intoxicating and VERY sexy.

My wife used this perfume when she was younger and was telling me about it and how she felt that an awful lot of the perfumes around today are not as nice. So I decided to try and surprise her and see if it was still available. I was very surprised when I found it available on Amazon and so was my wife when I presented it to her. This perfume is really nice and I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm so delighted with this fragrance it's light, floral and smells very expensive. It's become my favourite so much so I recently bought the shower gel and body crème too - I've had lots of compliments after using the eau de toilette, but in terms of fragrance for daily use I will use the shower gel and body crème and save the eau de toilette for evenings.

My fiancee used to wear the male version of this scent. I loved it so much that I asked whether there was a female version and this was it. I bought my First bottle on Guernsey where we honeymooned and that was more than 30 years ago. I have never found a perfume that I love more.

I got this at a fraction of the price I normally pay for it in high class shops. It has always been a favourite and on this occasion was a Christmas present for a friend. She was delighted with it . It was not a cheap counterfeit version and was most certainly the proper brand.

Didn’t know if I could still get Van Cleef and Arples as I used to by it in the duty free shops but it was discontinued! One day I thought I would just try Amazon and sure enough I could get it! It’s one of my favourites ! It arrived well packaged and on time .Thank you Amazon

I dont like any other perfume and its cheaper from Amazon than anywhere else. It usually only is sold in top department stores like Harrods. And its much cheaper from Amazon. Previously it came from France direct but I noticed this one seemed to come from an English agency.

This perfume was brought over from America and given to me in the 1970, s. It is a unique and beautiful scent, which I wear every day. The only trouble being that it is impossible to buy anywhere. So thanks to you Amazon I shall continue to indulge myself.

love this perfume have used it for years ,cant get it in the shops .its light floral smell lingers and always get good coments from very young to the very old .the other perfumes i use are no 5 &flowerbomb i rate this alongside the chanel.

I ordered this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It is subtle, fresh, feminine and just gorgeous. Half the price of the high street. Brilliant! Well done Amazon.

Love this perfume. It is special. I think I have been wearing this perfume for forty years and I still love it as much if not more than when I wore it first.
