The ink is a hybrid so it's smooth as a ballpoint pen in terms of writing experience but is opaque like a gel pen. Best of both worlds. The grip was extremely comfortable even for me who writes closer to the tip. Multi pens are known to be thick but this one is quite thin, just slightly thicker and heavier(you can't even really tell) than a regular gel or ballpoint pen. It checks up all the boxes if you want a multi-pen that writes extremely smooth and well as well as being light and fairly thin. If you don't have a specific preference of brands of ink types, definitely get the jetstream. You will not be disappointed.

By far the best pen I've ever owned. As a healthcare professional I need to write prescriptions and notes quickly and this pen has always been reliable with smooth ink flow and crisp lines and colors. I think only I really care about how my writing experience is like compared to BIC or Papermate pens which actually hurt to write with. Although it's a plastic pen, the switching mechanism feels good and works every time, i.e. no jams. I currently use 4 of these pens in different ink widths: 0.38, 0.5, 0.7mm. Although 0.5mm feels the best to write with, the 0.7mm looks the best and will show up well on faxes.

I have tried so many pens and this one is probably my favorite. It writes perfectly on Tomoe River paper (Hobonichi planners) and doesn’t smudge.EDIT: -1 one star cause it cracked already lol. but i taped it up and its still good to use. I wish it wasn’t made with cheap plastic. but still writes great!

I love my Uni Jetstream pens so ordered this to carry around in my handbag. The ink runs smoothly with no blotches, and the pen feels nice in the hand. A much nicer looking pen than the similar Bic product, I would definitely buy this pen again.

I'm a teacher. I LOVE multi coloured clicky pens like this and this is the best one I've used for note making, marking endless books and sketching amusing pictures of other teachers, children and parents. Please don't tell the daily mail.
