This railway sim is terrific with a great selection of locos, coaches and wagons to play with.. there is even a car transporter in one of the scenarios. Great PC simulator which allows you to either watch or take part and drive the locos and unload the logs and collect the coal etc. Really recommended. I bought this for myself initially, but my wee 5year old grandson has spotted it, and now I have to make an appointment every time I want to play train-sets ... :-). He is absolutely enthralled with it as he is an avid Thomas fan, after progressing from little wooden trains and track thru megabloks to Trackmaster.

I have played on MSTS (Microsoft Train Simulator) for several years and to be honest compared to most game graphics today it looks quite dated. This on the other hand is much better. Although this lacks extra content you'll be playing for hours on what it's already got.The gameplay on a new (high spec.) computer is very quick and the game starts in about 15 seconds for me. The built-in route designer software is brilliantly easy to use and you can get your own route up and runnin' in no time. The selection of track and buildings is phenomenal you'll be looking through it for days.For anyone who likes trains and simulator type games this is a big must have and out runs MSTS any day.

Trainz 2006, DVD Edition,Great, Full of amazing features..Unlike MSTS (The stand alone product)The Sounds are amazing, and the graphics..I dont about the events tho, i havent used them,I been spending more time building my own route !It gives you an easy to use Route maker, But warning it is complex in the fact with the scenery, terrain and object tools...It is huge but its fairly easy once mastered,I reccommend this,

LOVE SIMULATOR GAMES AND THIS IS VERY GOOD. GIVES YOU TRAINING BEFORE YOU START THEN AWAY YOU GOOD WITH YOUR CHALLENGES. THE ONLY THING THAT IS A DRAW BACK IT IT IS SLOW IN YOU CHALLENGES, SO NOT A QUICK GAME YOU CAN PLAY FOR 10 MINUTES, YOU NEED TIME
