Sure TITAN QUEST was what Diablo3 would have looked like - but this cannot be a bad thing! And now we have its EXCELLENT Expansion...Quite realistic graphics achieved even on medium range PCs (a 3year old machine with only the video card upgraded to a 7600GT and an extra 1GB RAM can run it with everything on HIGH). Keep in mind thought that the expansion is more demanding than the original TITAN QUEST. If your PC barely handled the original it will run into problems with IMMORTAL THRONE - especially in Hades where the green glares increase the requirements.I particularly liked that you can see the exact armor and weapons on your opponents and, after you killed them, everything drops for looting.I am a great fun of D&D RPGs. In Titan Quest there is no deep background - except lots of excellent (mostly Greek) Mythology, CORRECTLY told for once. No ...Zena defending against the invading Persians by Leonidas side, saving baby-Jesus and laying waste with Jenkins-Han's hordes, all in one wrap! There is no "official 20-sided dice" getting thrown somewhere in the background - do you really care? Hack, slash and destroy. Loot, sell and buy. Repeat as needed.Where it misses the 5th Star: the game seems to run into Slow/Catching-up episodes with no pattern or warning. Lowering the graphics does not seem to help. I guess there is in need of a Patch. It does not occur often though, hence not a major complaint. Also, a bit short for such a huge original game. You will surely enjoy it! GREAT FUN!!!

Well, if you're considering buying this you probably already own Titan Quest and enjoyed it, and Immortal Throne being an expansion pack is a no brainer if you enjoyed TQ. Not only does it extend the level cap and add a load of cool gear, it adds another lengthy amount of content with new enemies and graphics, and it adds a lot of useful features to the standard game, like a stash and a way to remove socketted gems from magic items.Titan Quest is a really excellent Diablo clone and a perfect stop gap while waiting for Diablo 3, and it's also a very long game with a lot of character classes and abilities to keep you interested. It also looks stunning and runs very well on a decent gaming PC as of 2010.It's also an interesting twist to build the game around greek mythology rather than a random fantasy world, although sadly TQ has perhaps the worst story you'll see in a video game, but these games aren't about story, they're about combat, loot and levelling your character. Actally the story is so bad you'll often be laughing out loud at it, so consider it a comedic bonus.Another big bonus is co-op multiplayer, the best thing about Diablo 2 was playing it with friends over a LAN or the net, and it's no different with TQ, it's definitely one of the best co-op games around. If you like Diablo and you haven't played TQ then you should, it's that simple. Just a very fun top down action RPG.

I really enjoyed the original TQ, so I decided to try this expansion. It adds the journey to Hades into the game, and more side quests to boot. There are some nice changes here too that I particularly like.If you've got a high level character that has found oodles of goodies, but hasno use for them (they fill up your bag spaces `cos you tend to keep them for later.), then you can use caravan drivers to store these said goodies, OR you can put them into his special compartment and make them available to your other saved characters. Weapons, armour relic pieces etc.. can all go into this special storage for use with any other characters you've made.I find this adds a bit more longevity to the gameand keeps you plodding on with other types of fighter. There's also tons of new gear and sets to find. There are more bosses and Hades-esque characters to interact with.All-in-all I liked this expansion, and at the price I paid it wasn't too heavy on the pocket either.

One of my favourite games ever, I don't tire of it as there are so many different ways to play it - you have over 30 differend builds to play as. Also, it is a beautiful game to look at and to listen to, with enough random elements to ensure that no game is exactly the same.

If you enjoyed TQ, this will be a great extension for you. The new chapter is fun to play, a few new encounters and items...
