Really started loving these guys for cooling supplies. For thermal pad, it's super easy to work with and does help lower temps...just don't expect it to be earth shattering differences. It's a thermal PAD after allCons- Price for the average user (non-enthusiast)- Need some good fingernails to peel off the plastic film without risking tears or pulling some of it apart. Just take your time if biting your fingernails always ends up being more convenient than trimmers...Pros- THE enthusiast solution for pads, but may be overkill price wise for the average user. Much more expensive for a few degrees difference. Worth it for me by far though- About the best quality pad I've used. Not the slippery or super fragile ones that are cheap- The side with the thicker film really sticks well. Works great to get it on all of the memory chips and not worry about them falling off or moving, even if the heat sink needs to be slightly maneuvered after touching the less sticky side- Fantastic for VRM and memory chips. Temps lowered average 7 degrees on my Gigabyte Z270 motherboard while overclocking

I got this because I was in the process of upgradding my cpu so I decided to clean out my open loop and monoblock/gpu block out. I took apart my 1080 ti and noticed the thermal pads on the memory were off on some chips. It made me remember when i got the card new i was ablt to do a 400+mhz oc on the memory for a bit and i had to turn off the oc because it mad it unstable. Also the pads were cheap 0.5mm thermal pads. I replaed then with 1.5mm and mashed them down to cover the whole memory chip. I would have took pics if I knew how well it would work. Basically I increased the heat surface area to transfer to the vga block by using over cut and over thick cuts of thermal pads. I noticed right at boot.My card now car oc 400mhz on memory and my gpu core went down 5c under full load. I also used them on my mono block and south bridge on my mb and they were better then what was being replaced. These seem like they will last a long time. One of these was just enough to do all 11 memory chips on my 1080 ti with no room for error.

XBOX ONE X - opened the box, scraped all the trash off MY new property and added perfectly cut-to-size pads of this minus 8 "clay". Don't forget the chips off to the side. (No, I used TIM on the GPU... so there). I say "clay" because it really is kinda like a maleable clay. It is sticky on both sides, too. This material is sold as 2mm and when I scraped off the "old dried-paste" it measured just below 2mm thick. (Yes, I said it was "dried-paste"). So far so good. Put the box back together and I don't hear a fan.... EVER. Under heavy load, light load... the fan might be unplugged right? I get up close and listen and it's on but a few feet away it's silent. This stuff has the best "laboratory" specs vs all the competitors and with the TIM mod on the GPU to round it all out I FREAKING LOVE THIS STUFF. Too bad it's so prohibitively expensive. Do the mod. It works.

Anyone that owns an X570 Taichi motherboard knows that Asrock messed up the chipset fan design on this board in favor of aesthetics. This means that the fan gets completely blocked by your GPU card. It was fine initially, running at ~60 C idle, ramping to 75C under constant load. But 1 year later, I found games crashing on my system after a few hours of play, and it turned out that my SB chipset temps were peaking at 85C!I tore down the chipset fan and replaced the factory TIM with these pads, then buttoned it back up. Now my idle temps have been restored to ~60 C, and under load, I am peaking at 70C. These temps are well within spec, but still not as good as the competition (MSI).We'll see how they hold up 1 year later assuming I still own this board. A 15C temp drop is a big win in my books. Thx Thermal Grizzly.

I had a nvme drive getting up to about 60+C with a different pad. Cooling the chassis didn't seem to help so the pad seemed to be more of a insulator than conductor.I swapped the old pad out with one of these and the difference is indeed well worth the purchase! If the chassis temp comes down so does the nvme temp!Temp was about 60C and now I'm seeing temps down in the mid 45CIn my situation I am using this pad to conduct heat from the nvme to a industrial grade embedded computer where the chassis is the heatsink and the fans are external and not attached to the chassis. If you're wondering if I recommend this product then yes, yes I do. It works. The packet comes with 1 pad that will need to be cut to length to fit your nvme or ssd.The width is just slightly wider than a nvme so only 1 cut is needed.

Between this and another, I'll just say "high end" brand of thermal pads, Both have helped stabilize another 100mhz overclock on my 2 gtx 970's (One card thermal grizzly, one card is the other brand) I don't think my specofic card monitors even temps but the gpu temps have dropped about 5c total on both. I'm not sure if the padding helped that or not.. I am sure the overclock I wanted to run was NOT stable before and NOW IS..I do prefer the stick of gum type of design rather than the square the "other brand had" it's easier to eyeball cuts quickly and accurately.I only had one issue, not worth a star loss though. After taking off the protective plastic it's not as sticky as the other brand and wouldn't work unless its on top. That's how GPUs lay anyway so its fine

Item:- Product is as expected, knocked 6C off of mainboard VRM temps, 5/5People:- It should be habit when shopping on Amazon, that you read the reviews AND look at the current seller that is selected- I did this, and realized that people were getting possible fakes from individual sellers because they just clicked 'add to cart' without lookingProduct:- I purchased mine from Titan Rig, the package looked legitimate and was sealed, but did not include the authenticity card as others have noted.- I think this package of Minus Pad 8 does not normally come with the CoA, though my smaller pack of Minus Pad 8 did.I don't think others have received fakes in this case, but you should pay attention anyway.Bonus points for supporting smaller retailers!

I bought this to replace the stock thermal pads on my Gigabyte Z370N WIFI ITX motherboard. I cut a strip for the VRM heatsink as well as the M.2 SSD heatsink. The VRMs now take significantly longer to heat up and temps overall are reduced 5-20C depending on the CPU load. The 960 Evo SSD was throttling due to high temps (75C+) with the stock thermal pad but now stays much cooler (65C or less) and no longer throttles. This thermal pad is expensive but did exactly what I hoped for and is far better than the cheap pads Gigabyte uses on this particular motherboard. I wish I had swapped the pads out sooner!

I bought this from onyx pc and the certificate in the package checked out genuine so that's good. The package itself was in one piece and it shipped pretty quick. The product itself seems pretty good quality, I used it on my Xbox one x. Only complaint I have is that there isn't enough for how much you pay, there also wasn't enough of the pad to get every chip on the Xbox one x. Temporarily i am using the bits and pieces that I had to cut off on the chips that weren't covered. I also I am not sure which why the pad is supposed to go there's a dotted sided and a smooth side.

I bought these thermal pads to replace some thermal pads on my laptop, which had become dirty/damaged after disassembly of the laptop several times. The Grizzly pads were very easy to cut to the measured sizes and just the right thickness to fill the gap that my old pads did. The effectiveness is also better than stock, with idle temps now around 5C lower and load temps about 3C lower. They're a little pricey for the amount that you get, but in this situation, you're paying for the best. I'll definitely choose Grizzly again for my future thermal pad needs.

I bought this for my GPD Pocket since the case is aluminum. I lined the entire heatpipe with this thermal pad.The pad was a bit smaller than I expected, but that was my fault for not measuring out 30x30mm.With the pad applied, my GPD Pocket's fan (with Windows 10) went from always audible to actually turning off at idle and being much quieter overall. The pad conducts heat very well. There are now hotspots on the bottom of my GPD where the pad touches the shell, which I am happy with since that's heat that isn't forcing the CPU to throttle.

I was originally going to return these because I needed the 0.5mm variety for my GPU's memory. While using these 1mm thick pads caused very poor contact between my GPU's die and the heatsink, moving these to the VRMs solved this issue. They are now helping to keep my VRMs cooler. For the time being, I'm using thermal paste between my heatsink and memory, which is sub-optimal, as it makes a mess. However, once I get some 0.5mm pads, I will use those. My GPU temps are rock-steady now, and the VRMs are staying a little cooler.

Used for VRAM and MOSFETS. Not poked a temp probe in to tell if anything is up or down, seems to work fine...All I do know is 0.5mm works well with my laptop heatsink and the VRAM and its MOSFETS. As in it fits, not too big.Tip, take off the solid plastic first, lay and press it down, then remove the thin plastic side. Fiddly but perfectly fine.Again, could be crap, could be great. No issues though.

So much better than the crappy crumbly ones I took off my PS4 PRO!!! I also added a pad to the HDMI chip because I had a extra piece left over. I cut out pieces slightly bigger than all the chips. Combined with Grizzly thermal paste my PRO is running great without the fan ramping up at all. I also cut a large hole right above the fan and added a housing with dust filter.

Used this when I overhauled my release edition ps3 fat for fear of over heating. This is much much better than the original thermal pads. Paired with the thermal paste from thermal grizzly and a minor cooling mod it is running ALOT cooler. Before it was uncomfortably hot to my hand on the case now its pleasently warm and the fan never ramps all the way up any more.
