This is a well made miniature version of the real thing, strongly made and perfectly functional. Indeed it has been pressed into service cleaning the floor of our Dormo'bile just today. The mop has just enough strips of typical Vileda stuff to do some proper mopping and the handle is strong enough to press the mop firmly into the strainer thing - though you are advised to twist it as you insert the mop to make sure all the strips are underneath enough to be squeezed. The strainer was strong enough to take that pressure.Of course I am only a feeble old Dormouse and a stronger mopper might report differently. The bucket held enough water to clean the three foot by 8 foot lino floor and was stable in use.

Due to the fecundity of our neighbours, our once peaceful cul-de-sac is now cluttered up with mewling and puking infants. As a staunch Conservative, I believe it is wrong that their parents should receive state handouts without said infants making a useful contribution to society. I therefore purchased a number of these excellent mop and bucket sets with the intention that whenever I saw an idle infant scrounger lounging in the street, I could thrust a mop into its grimy paw and set it to work cleaning the dog excrement and other effluvia that blights our pavements. I nearly didn't even look at this as I was concerned by the complete lack of rating it was receiving in reviews. I couldn't find anything else that fitted the bill, though, so eventually read up on it and had a giggle at all those mopping their floors with a teeny tiny mop! It does the job, my 3 yr old loves it, and I don't have him fighting me for my mop whenever the floor needs doing.

This was a Christmas present for our 14 month old grandson, who loves to clean. It turned out to be his best ever present and he spent much of Christmas mopping the house! It was perfectly clear to my husband and myself that this was a child's set and exactly what we wanted as it is such a good replica of my own mop and bucket.

Best buy, got it for my 16 month old LO, we constantly having fights when it comes to cleaning because she wants to do everything I do. She loves it, even thought her dad got hit on the head few times now , she just won't let go of it, I think I might have to put it in the bed with her when she is off to sleep.

read som of the funniest reviews ever on amazon, for this set before christmas, (people thinking it was a full size mop, amazing!) bought it for my 4 year old daughter as she said she really wanted one just a few days before christmas, seems to be a perfect small version daughter loved it

5 star product, although I didn't buy it for the kids to use.We have a tiny bathroomand i can sit on the loo and mop the whole floor in one with this mop and bucket.Just because it's small, doesn;t mean that it's no good at the job.perfect for my purposes

I didn’t buy this for a child, I bought it for myself! I’d been looking for a mop to use in awkward places, eg behind the computer desk, and TV, skirting boards etc and couldn’t find anything, then thought maybe a childs set would do the job, which it does!

My 18 month old nephew ALWAYS used my mop and bucket when he came so for Christmas I bought him the smaller version of mine. He absolutely loved it. He's grown a bit big for it now so will have to let him start using mine again!

Looks just like the real thing! Great for pretend play and even helping me out as you can put water in it and my son can help with the cleaning haha. Very happy customer :)

Purchased for my granddaughter to be like NanNan. Teaches her to clean up if she spills anything and great fun with water or just pretend.
