I've just bought a second one of these because the first one I bought was just running out, and I really liked it.I avoid the commercial deodorants and antiperspirants because of the rubbish they put in them, and the potential health risks they pose. For years now I've been using natural deodorants like Pit Rok and Clear Crystal etc. but find that, although they help in terms of deodorising, they lacked having some decent fragrance themselves.I still use a rock crystal and put that on after wetting it first, and then follow that with the Taylors sandlewood stick, which not only smells great, but lasts throughout the day, even after exercising (1 hour high paced walking) during my lunchtimes.Of course,

Scent is identical to TOBS sandalwood shaving soap/cream. If you like that, you will like this. The scent is quite strong when applied, but not so much after one is dressed. I personally absolutely love this product, and I believe I have found my deodorant for life, or at least a long long time. Recommended for any man who doesn't want to smell like every other Axe/Old Spice wielding yobbo on the street. Other reviewers mention skin problems or stick drying out. I have not experienced either of these problems (and I don't see how one could experience the latter, as the stick has a screw-on top). So, if you have sensitive skin in your under arm area, perhaps give it a pass....

Some people simply dont read the product description. This is sold as a DEODORANT with subtle sandalwood tones and it is just that. It will not stop you sweating as it is not an antiperspirant. It will not lather up as I saw one review mention, as it is not a soap. Its scent is subtle sandalwood with citrus as advertised and not overpowering. If you want a antiperspirant to stop you sweating like a gym monkey pumping iron and smells strongly of sandalwood, go buy something else. If you want a nice smelling deodorant that'll last all day, you wont go far wrong with this...

my favourite deoderant, not overpowering by any means... just a lovely background smell. if your trynig to avoid aluminium within your personal care products then this is lovely.like i said its not a strong smell, it good enough to cover any bad smells and smell of body odour, but not necessarily strong enough tha anyone will comment about it.i have been using Taylors underarm deoderant for a few years now and havent looked back...if your more concerned about people smelling your lovely fragrance, you could always top up with some aftershave on your neck/wrists.

After using standard supermarket deodorants for most of my adult life, I decided that they were a false economy. Almost every t-shirt, shirt or jumper would eventually be ruined by getting a hard, white, chalky buildup under the arms. I have been using this for about 3 years now and not only has it eliminated the problem with all of my clothing being ruined, it smells great, keeps me dry and lasts a whole lot longer than those supermarket brands - about 3 times longer, which makes the more expensive shelf price much more reasonable.

I have been using this deodorant for about 3 years now, once Crabtree and Evelyn stopped making their outstanding product. Very pleasant, distinctive odour and the quality of the material in the stick is high. I am not sure if this is the case but the last two I have purchased have not smelt as strong as the ones before this. This may be one-offs or perceived I don't know. In the absence of an alternative I will continue to use this.

Nice classic, masculine smell to it this deodorant. Not overly strong but lasts pretty well throughout the day. Mechanism seems to hold up fine and these kinds of deodorant last longer than you might think.Made in the United Kingdom. Little more expensive than some but nice quality premium deodorant.Recommended.

Normally I would leave a week before I leave feedback, but I had write. This product is brilliant. I stayed fresh ALL day and I applied it once in the morning. It was 30c and I had to walk 30minutes to work. By the time I had finished work, I still stayed fresh. Will try the others of this brand.

THIS DEODORANT IS SO LOVELY. I BOUGHT MY HUSBAND THE AFTERSHAVE AND SHAVE CREAM AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM, SO WHEN I SAW THIS I THOUGHT I MUST BUY. HE HAS QUITE A COLLECTION OF AFTERSHAVES BUT THIS JUST SEEMS TO STAND OUT. SO CLASSY. NOT HEAVY OR OVERPOWERING. SMELL LASTS AS WELL. LOVE IT.

A gift for someone, soI was disappointed to find a large white sticky warehosue barcode label attached to the label of the deodorant stick. Fortunately I managed to peel it away carefully with minimal damage. A shame as this part of a Christmas gift for someone.

Amazing deodorant, it's expensive so I would recommend it only if you are particularly fussy about deodorants. I am not, to be honest, but decided to try this and am very happy with it. Elegant classy scent... My wife loves it too which does make a difference!

Enjoyed the fragrance, but it lack a bit in the Sandalwood department.... To me this came out as a lemony deoderant with Sandalwood undertones, not the Sandalwood punch-in-your-face as I hoped for :) But still, the smell is nice, if not quite what I hoped for.

Not only did they send me another when the first one didn't twist properly but also they were really friendly and product is excellent quality. The sandalwood fragrance is gorgeous. Up there with L'Occitane and Bolton Brown for high quality sick deodorants

I love the smell of sandalwood , this stick has it in the buckets .It works wonderfully for me & smells great .The only thing is .. the picture is wrong ..The plastic is ivory color not what it is in the picture ( blue , navy or what ever ) .

Looked long and hard for a sandalwood-fragranced solid deodorant ever since Lush stopped doing theirs (couldn't get on with their patchouli alternative). This fits the bill and was reasonably priced and quickly despatched.
