Non-sticky, gently fragranced and very effectiveMy one and only experience with stick deodorant was one from a well-known man-brand something like 25 years ago, and it almost put me off sticks for life. That stuff was thick, tacky and almost overpoweringly strong, and it gunked up my underarms to a point that I couldn’t wait to wash it off. I’m only just realising that it was the exception, because ManCave’s eucalyptus deodorant is pretty much the exact opposite – non-sticky, gently fragranced and light enough that you almost don’t know you have it on.Although the front of the stick mentions a peppermint and lime smell, it’s the eucalyptus that’s really prominent, and reminds me of cough rub which,if it were any stronger, might be a bad thing. Fortunately, the scent is only just noticeable after application, so it won’t get in the way of any fragrances you might choose to apply. The stick is said to contain various naturally-derived antibacterial agents (the ingredients list is as long as my arm so don’t ask me what they are) – I don’t know how true that is but the stick has been leaving me completely odour-free for pretty much the entire working day so there may well be some truth to it.And compare that to my most recent deodorant spray of choice, which has only been lasting a couple of hours before it started to wear off or, worse still, began to go off and smell stale; ManCave’s fresh, lightly scented nature means that’s there’s not very much smell to go off so the worst I’ve been experiencing is a faint hint of my own body aroma late in the day, and that I can put up with. All in all I still prefer the dry feel of a spray, but a deodorant’s main function is to stop odour and other considerations are secondary. The only negative I can find with this deodorant is that the stick seems to be pushed up on a plunger rather than on a screw thread, so it doesn’t retract when the dial on the bottom is turned, forcing me to push it back down with my finger or with the stick’s cap. I could also say that a slightly stronger scent might be nice, but not having one just means that my Issey Miyake fragrance is all the more noticeable.

I sweat excessively, and have always struggled to find a good deodorant. After realising the amount of toxic chemicals that go into commercial deodorants, and the health consequences of using them, I have decided to find something natural and toxin free. This has not been an easy task, and I have yet to find an ideal natural deodorant, but this has perhaps been the best one yet.Mancave Eucalyptus deodorant will not stop your armpits from sweating, but it will prevent you from smelling bad. This is the most effective natural deodorant I have found so far, but I am still on the lookout for something more effective, here's why:- This deodorant leaves your armpits moist (it never really dries fully),and your armpits just get increasingly wetter as the day progresses- This deodorant does not last very long (for me, it lasts about 2-3 hours before I would need to freshen up again and reapply)What I really like about this deodorant is that it has a pleasant natural fragrance (it is formulated for men, but as a female, I like deo's that aren't sweet, as sweet scents don't mix well with sweat, and this one does not smell overly masculine, but rather neutral I would say). Other things I like about Mancave deodorant is that it's cruelty free, does not contain any nasty chemicals, and comes in a decent size.I only wish it came in more sustainable packaging, and hope that the manufacturer will consider more environmentally (i.e. plastic free) packaging in future. Please let me know if you found my review useful by indicating below. Thanks for reading and good luck finding what works for you!

This is a round, solid stick deodorant in a plastic case with a screw-on lid; the deodorant stick is raised or lowered by twisting the case base. The stick end is a smooth, comfortable shape to apply. I find the scent, described as peppermint and lime, very pleasant. It is fresh and not at all intrusive.I stopped wearing antiperspirants because I found they irritated my skin and caused a rash. It is quite difficult to find a deodorant that is not also an antiperspirant, so I was delighted to have a chance to try this product. So far I've had no issues with irritating skin or rashes under my arms when using this product. The label says the product is aluminium free and contains "naturally derivedantibacterial actives to help eliminate odours and protect your underarm." It also says that the ingredients are not from animal sources and are not tested on animals. It says that the product is "vegan friendly".I'm delighted to have found this deodorant because it is deodorant-only and does not inhibit perspiration. I prefer a solid stick to either a roll-on or a spray applicator so that pleases me too. As a deodorant it is very effective and has not stained my clothes. I find its slight scent very pleasant.

I know this is meant to be for men but judging on the scents described I thought it'd be neutral enough for a female - and it is.It's relatively easy to apply, it's a big stick of product that you just roll up the more you use it. Though I do find that because it doesn't have any moisture to it, I have to moisten my armpits to apply it properly (no great fuss though as long as you're near a sink). It has a clean fresh scent but doesn't really linger much. It keeps me smelling "normal" I'd say. It lasted through a very intense workout, so that I was dripping in sweat all over but my armpits were not giving off a whiff (as they would if I didn't wear any protection).I'm quite impressed that it could do that,as ive tried various aluminium free products and they all have their nuisances (not the right scent, hard to apply, rubbish container leaked product etc etc).I see no reason to stop using this and would consider buying it for myself when it runs out. I think it will last absolutely AGES judging on the size of it!

This is a high quality roll-on deodorant, which keeps me exceptionally dry all day, no matter what. Prior to this, I’ve mostly used aerosol-based deodorants. I’ve found Dove for Men to be the most effective but even that results in a faint smell at the end of the working day. And yet it’s much better than the other brands - apparently ‘the lynx effect’ is that you smell like a sweaty fox after 3 or 4 hours. But this Mancave product is unbeatable. I have applied it in the morning, spent the day in work, followed by an evening at a dance class, come home & found that I am still dry & smell-free.Like many products with mostly natural ingredients, the smell is subtle & out of the ordinary. Not unpleasant, though – and certainly more fragrant than BO! It’s great to find something which is good for your body, good for the environment & also incredibly effective!I’m not the sort of person who gets excited over cosmetics but I’ve tried a few products in the Mancave range now & I’ve been very impressed with all of them.

This stuff is amazing. I changed from aerosol body spray for health reasons (aluminium, parabens) and going vegan in the New Year. I was a little skeptical, despite reviews, as I could sometimes be a bit 'wiffy' after running for the train on a summer's morning, in spite of showering and having used body spray. I was considering throwing some tops out as they seemed to smell come lunch time but this has completely changed since switching from aerosol to Mancave. The scent isn't too strong but it usually lasts most of the day. If it does run out, it's not replaced with body odour as per highstreet fragrance (I say highstreet but I've seen this product in Tesco now). There is no odour, even at the end of the day / after exercise. How?!The only slight shadow on this product was mild itching in my armpits after a few days use. This subsided and was not as bad as antiperspirant, where I have to switch to body spray after a few days.Would highly recommend and will be sticking with it for the foreseeable future.

I was searching for alternatives to aluminium-containing deodorants for the husband. While we've not had any problems with using alum sticks, as they did work, I was still aware and concerned that they were a form of aluminium all the same (though less harmful than aluminium chlorohydrate, according to some). We tried other eco-sticks but they just didn't work and I didn't obviously want to make my husband smell awful, so this was a last ditch attempt before going back to the alum sticks and I am SO glad we did find this. It smells amazing, lasts ages and keeps all odours of the bodily variety at bay, even after a sweaty power walk! It is so good that I had to Google whether it contained any nasties not listed (I'm that sceptical)but I couldn't find a thing. It is awesome stuff and by the looks of it will last a while, but I've stocked up just in case! ? The scent is hard to describe but isn't of the Lynx-body-spray variety, it's much nicer, sweeter and woodier. I'd be quite happy to use this myself.

I am one of those men that under certain circumstances sweats like crazy, especially when tired or stressed. I mean I pour sweat. On the good advise of my wife she suggested that high street deo and anti perspirant products are full of chemicals and particularly aluminium derived compounds, which block sweat pores and are generally unfriendly to the human body. I bought this as an experiment after trying various chem-free products. I can honestly say that I can use this daily and I am not stinky, ever. I shower every day and do a gym session every week day. If you leave it for more than a day, then it won't maintain an odour free armpit, but thats fine, its all natural stuff, and I am happy that in a 9 to 5 scenario it keeps me smelling good. Another bonus is that my shirts/tops no longer have a stained yellow weird thing going on, they are no longer under chemical attack and are just, fine. Its not the holy grail, but its a great deodorant formulation. I am a total fan.

My natural body odour smells like somebody has vomited on some sand, put it in a bag of red hot monster munch, shook it up, then rubbed the resulting maize-sand-vomit paste into my armpits. As such, most cruelty-free deodorants have so far failed to contain the stench. Until now. This is hands down the best-smelling and long-lasting cruelty free deodorant on the market.Pros:- Smells great- Neutralises my natural stank- Doesn't leave white marks on my clothes- Lasts wellCons:- Mancave implies that men belong in caves and frankly I will not stand for it- Slogans like "own the bathroom" promote toxic masculinity- I already own the bathroom by putting it out of commission for hours at a time withthe depth and breadth of odour that I produce in there- For some reason they ship it in a little plastic baggy within the envelope, unnecessary.Overall, anything that can keep my stench at bay without needing to be tested on animals deserves applause ??Five stars.

My first roll on product. Also my first man cave product. I’ve been using deodorant spray for the past few years but my mum has been trying to get me off them as evidence seems to suggest they are not too good for your health whether you breathe it in or apply to your skin. My mum got me a scent free salt stick at first but I prefer something with scent and then came accross this.As for the product, Smell is good. Not too faint but not too overpowering and it smells pretty good aswell. Eucalyptus smelt a little off key at the beginning but it’s actsully nice. I use once a day in the mornings usually and it lasts all day. I’ve been using for three months now and assume it will last another month. Also, it kinda feels like putting moisturiser on your underarms a little bit when you first put it on. Don’t know if it’s just me or anyone else feels the same way.Seems like I’ve written a life Story but yeah that’s about it really ... hope it helps.

This is an excellent deodorant. I originally bought this for my partner but ended up using it myself and now we both have one! Although it is targeted at men I really like the refreshing scent rather than the standard floral, citrus or lavender options in ladies deodorant. My partner is very picky about scents but liked it enough to tell me to buy it again next time (which is a big thumbs up from him). Initially I came across this when looking for a cruelty-free vegan deodorant that has less harsh chemicals in than a lot of the branded store bought products. After trying a few that I didn't really get along with, I was very pleased to find this one. It lasted all day without having to reapply (unless you go to the gym etc)and without any irritation to my sensitive underarms. After buying this multiple times I can definitely recommend the ManCave deodorant and I will be looking at the rest of their range in future,

Yay!!! It's a deodorant and not an antiperspirant. I was looking for a replacement for Old Spice deodorant which I have been using for over thirty years. I decided to ditch all Procter and Gamble products after they produced the Gillette man-hating advert. If they hate men, that's ok, its up to them. If they want to target the huge market of man-hating feminists that use male toiletries, I am sure that they know what they are doing. But anyway, on the principle of, treat me badly once more fool you, treat me badly twice, more fool me. All Procter and Gamble products had to go, which was a shame because I liked them. It was strangely difficult to find a stick deodorant that was not an antiperspirant...I never thought that blocking one's pours was a good idea and then there was the aluminium linked to cancer thing...On the other hand. This product is great!! Smells good. Works well. Good value. Give it a try.

Once I got over smiling at the product range name - ManCave - I discovered a pleasant smelling, deodorant stick.Very 70s looking with fairly masculine packaging, I've used this for about a week now and so far so good. The scent does tend to linger a bit but it's quite subtle and is designed to mask your body smell, so you do want it to act.Not tested on animals or containing any animal ingredients, this is a product even vegans can use.Key point - as other reviewers point out - is this is a deodorant not antiperspirant, so it won't stop you smelling!I've found it lasts most of the day but there is a slight body smell by the end of the day though this can be true of antiperspirants too.Big issue for me is does it stain my shirts? So far the answer is no but I'd want to have used it with the same shirt for 4 or 5 washes before making my mind up.I'll update this review later but so far so good!

I have spent years trying to find a good antiperspirant with all the qualities I was looking for, example, organic natural ingredients, nice smell etc. Then I came across this product. The first time I ordered this, I paid £6 with free shipping, great value! It lasted me from May until October, the stuff lasts for ages!!The smell is really nice too, and it stays with you all day!We all know that no matter how good a product we put under our pits, we will still sweat at some point, there is no product that can stop that happening, and really it isn't something we would want our body to stop either, it's natural! In saying that, I did notice that I didn't sweat as much whilst wearing this product, but I also didn't feel all clogged up and uncomfortable as I did with other products. So all in all, this gets 5 stars from me, for me it is perfect!Have a great day :)

Great. I have all 3 men in the house wearing it now. Lovely and natural. I suggested that they might get a little wet under arm but have no odour when switching to a natural deodorant. This doesn't seem to have be a problem for them but if it is, from personal experience, I know that eventually the body adjusts and produces less sweat i.e you need an antiperspirant because you use an antiperspirant! I hated the use of spray deodorants in the house (I use coconut oil only and it works perfectly but the men balked at the idea) and all three men hated the stickiness of roll on deodorant. This has been the answer.I bought it from Amazon at £7.99 but I noticed that the price on Amazon is now £16.50 which is ridiculous as the Mancave website sell it for £7.99 with free delivery on orders over £10. I wonder what they think of the seller charging so much?
