I brought this because I often suffer from nervous facial sweating. I have tried everything to get rid of it but nothing's worked. People don't tend to comment on it or probably just assume I'm too hot but it's something that makes me feel massively self conscious which just makes the issue worse as it makes me more nervous.Anyway something that is stated on the packaging but I don't recall seeing on the listing is that you have to wait an hour to use this spray after having a bath or a shower. It also says to only apply it in the evenings before going to bed and that it should never be applied during the day.It recommends to put some form of talc on beforehand if your face (or any body part)is moist or if you suffer from sensitive skin. I presume it is to form a slight barrier for sensitive skin which is something I do suffer from. I was a bit disappointed that the talc wasn't mentioned in the listing as I would prefer not to use normal talc full of chemicals and to use a more natural powder instead, had I have known I would have ordered a rice starch powder at the same time to use in conjunction with this product. As it was I ended up using johnsons talc for the first few times which I hate as it clogs my face and has loads of chemicals in. So yeah... Something to consider when purchasing this product is buying some sort of talc powder as well, especially if you have sensitive skin as you will need it.As soon as I sprayed this on my face I did feel a slight stinging on my skin and it became a bit itchy which I know was because of my sensitivities, I had applied a tiny bit of talc but I probably should have used more because my skin is sensitive. My skin did go a bit dry but as I was about to sleep it didn't really matter and the stinging was only mild and wore off after a little while. It then says to wear it all night and then wash it off in the morning which I did. It washed off fine.I the put a light moisturiser on my face as my skin was a little dry (which is quite normal for me) and went about my day as usual. At one point I felt myself getting a bit warm as I was nervous, although I didn't feel a massive difference I was aware that although I felt really warm my face was actually relatively dry. I don't know if this was just a coincidence though with it being the first time I'd used the product, however it is something I have noticed on other occasions when I've used this product so I'm going to take that as its working! It recommends to use the product about twice a week so I will keep using it and will hopefully notice a marked improvement. From my usage so far I would recommend this product as I feel it does have the potential to make a massive improvement to my life when I'm feeling nervous based on my experience so far.***update***I have exceptionally sensitive skin and have been using a little of this spray on top of a dusting of talc, basically by spraying the product onto my face from a distance of about 30cm. However on one occasion I decided to follow the actual instructions given for women and people with sensitive skin which was to spray some of this product onto cotton wool and dab it onto your face after using a coating of talc. I regretted it almost instantly. My face literally felt like it was on fire, within ten minutes my skin had gone bright red and was blistering before my eyes and became really chapped and sore. I ended up washing it off and the blistering lasted a few days. It seems like odd advice to give for women and people with sensitive skin as it caused me more issues than just spraying it as normal (which causes minor irritation but doesn't cause my skin to blister, it just gets a bit itchy but I can deal with it). So yeah, a word of caution, maybe don't follow the instructions on the bottle for women or people with sensitive skin. Everybody is different so I suppose different methods work with differs people but if you do have particularly sensitive skin be prepared for a little bit of trial and error to find the right technique for applying this product that suits you.

Without wishing to sound melodramatic, this product is nothing short of miraculous.I have suffered with underarm perspiration for about 30 years (but thankfully no odour!!). It has not been so bad that I've had to speak to a doctor or a dermatologist, and I have learned to live with it, getting to know what colour shirts and t-shirts it's safe for me to wear, and even how to hold my arms to avoid showing sweat patches. But recently I decided that I'd had enough and wanted to find a proper solution. My perspiration was made more frustrating because my "internal thermostat" (as I like to call it!) goes haywire sometimes - e.g. when it's cold my armpits sweat more! So, for example,I'd go out to work on a winter morning with a coat on, then when I'd get to work 30 minutes later I'd be sweating. Or if it was cold I'd slip on a cardigan or fleece, and there I'd go again.I tried the usual stuff you can get from Boots - like Sure, Mitchum, etc. but nothing worked. Sometimes I'd be dry for a while, but it never lasted very long. So I did some research on line and found out about Odaban. I couldn't believe what people were saying about the amazing results, so I thought, "I've just GOT to try this!" Yes, it's expensive, but you understand why once you see the results - plus the small bottle lasts ages as you only need one spray at a time. Now don't get me wrong - I don't expect to stop sweating completely. For example, I cycle regularly so I expect to sweat, just the same as when I go on holiday and sunbathe or do work outdoors in the summer. I just wanted something that will keep me dry so that I can wear what I like and not have the discomfort and embarrassment of wet shirts and t-shirts.I used my Odaban as soon as I got it (at night, as directed) then went to bed a little unsure of how effective it would be or if it would work at all. The next day the results were incredible: not a drop of sweat under my arms. Now I can go a full day at work and not sweat, plus I can wear the clothes I want with much more confidence. Sure, it takes a little while for your body to get used to it (you might sting or itch a bit at first but this should soon stop) but be patient - this DOES work, and like I said it's nothing short of miraculous!!I now use it every other night, just one squirt under each arm, but I'm hoping to get that down to just a couple of times a week (a lot of people have said this is all they need to use).If you suffer from excess perspiration, DO give Odaban a try, the results will amaze you. Just follow the guidelines (i.e. DON'T put it on the morning as it is no good for clothes, plus it is formulated to work at night when your body is at its most relaxed). Check with your doctor or chemist first if you're unsure.I can't rate or praise this product highly enough; I just wish it was marketed a bit more so that I could have found out about it sooner.Brilliant!!!

WOW ! I was SO impressed by this product I had to write a review. I was totally sceptical. I have tried a few high price anti-perspirants and none of them stopped the underarm wet patches showing. I suffered with nervous anxious underarm sweating which is very embarrassing especially at work and also wet patches on my daily quick walk to work. It was really affecting my confidence and having to choose which clothes to wear each day to hide the problem was so annoying. I have tried wearing the sweat shields that stick inside clothes but they were not practical. I didn't believe one spray of this could be effective.I had to buy it though because all the reviews on amazon and other websites were raving about it.I can honestly say I will never use any other product under my arms ever again ! This stuff is AMAZING.At bedtime that night I sprayed 2 sprays (because I still didn't believe 1 was enough!) on a cotton pad (make up remover pad) and carefully wiped into the centre of my armpit and did the same on the other side. There was a faint chemical type smell but no stinging Next day I moistened a cotton pad with warm water and mild handwash and wiped the product away as directed. The whole day I didn't have any sweat marks! I kept going into the toilets at work to check in the mirror. I could not believe it. I applied another spray the next night each side because I was still not convinced it would last and then I went 3 days without applying any more and for the whole time I did not have any wet marks under my arm whatsoever. I am so happy I want to tell the world but as its not the most lovely subject I guess I will enjoy being one of the ones in the know and smile secretly to myself...bye bye sweat marks no more worrying about what to wear and worrying about walking to work and building up a sweat !A word of warning though, during the 3 days I didn't use any I shaved under my arms and boy it stang.....I need to figure out how to schedule in shaving underarm with using this stuff but its a small price to pay.One other point which I find really odd is I still have the sensation of sweating under my arms and when I feel my clothes I expect to feel wetness but its completely dry. I wonder what it is actually doing to my sweat glands but to be honest it won't stop me using it because it has changed my life and thats not something you can say very often about a product.Amazing !

I've been a sufferer of hyperhidrosis since the age of 16 and it's been a big embarrassment in my life. For years I've struggled with social situations and I've not been able to wear the clothes I want. I've been using underarm sweat pads for the past few years and have had a lot of success with these. However I wanted to try something new and recently purchased a bottle of odaban. I can confirm this product does work. It has put a stop to my sweaty armpits. It's simple to use, just apply a small spray or 2 last thing at night. Some people may find it irritates the skin and I have had this but only once or twice and it's nothing that I couldn't deal with. Besides I think the end result is worth a tiny bit of itching.I have been able to go out in public with just a t shirt on and not have patches show through onto my clothes. I still do wear a tshirt with sweat pads underneath at work just for my own piece of mind but on social occasions I have the confidence to be able to go out without now. Also don't be put off if this doesn't work instantly for you. For the first week I noticed a change in the amount of sweating but I was still sweating albeit less and less gradually. I initally used 2 sprays per night until I found I was no longer sweating. However I did make the mistake of using too much and I found my problem returned briefly. This is simple to put right and I stopped using it for 1 night and then started again every night until the problem stopped again. Now I use it every other night and it continues to work for me. Therefore I can't stress enough how important it is that you don't use too much. It's easy to think that more is going to be better however with odaban this is not the case. It might take a few weeks for you to find what works best but once you find out and get into a routine that works for you then you will be so thankful you gave this a go. I certainly am thankful and that's why I wrote this review. Because for anyone out there like me that suffers with excessive sweating I really can't stress enough just how much this product will help you and make you feel more confident.

So I have a serious perspiration problem - no getting away from it. All over. I have to dress to hide it and adapt my life to suit, grow a beard to hide some of the dripping face and carry a cloth to mop my brow, even in winter. Years ago I bought a similar product designed for hands and feet and made the mistake of trying it on my armpits. Screaming agony! Other supposedly 48, 72 or even 96 hour protection products with claims of Extreme Dry and the like have no effect at all. So how does Odaban compare. Well, it certainly cuts the sweating down a lot more than regular products, though it hasn't stopped it completely, and there's virtually no discomfort like the other specialised product,so it offers the best of both worlds and works better than anything else I've tried. Being male I don't follow the instructions - I find it difficult to spray it accurately so I squirt it onto my palms and apply it from there to where it's needed, which treats my hands at the same time. For some places, I leave where to your imagination, I use cotton wool but that's rather wasteful as you throw most of the spray away with the cotton wool. The only place there is ever any mild tingling is my armpits but I find that if I apply a cream antiperspirant like Sure Maximum Protection [which is totally ineffective on its own and just makes a gooey mess that ruins your clothes if used after showering] on top of Odaban there is no stinging at all. I think the warnings about being dry before applying it, and using too much, are worth heeding. I did find after a while that my forehead and hands dried out too much and flaked like the aftereffects of sunburn - no reddening or discomfort though - but that was probably because I used it too often and doesn't happen if I use the Sure as well. I suppose such dryness is proof that it works, and I've just re-ordered so it can't be too bad. You don't get much but you don't use much either so it lasts a good while. From the other reviews it clearly doesn't work for everyone but I'd say it's definitely worth trying.

I had to think hard how to word this review, because as a sufferer of hyperhidrosis since the age of about 10,sweating,under my armpits, hands and feet has been the biggest secret of my life. So putting it down for strangers to read is quite a challenge.Unless you are a sufferer,or know someone who is, then it is almost impossible to explain just how much it can affect you every day. I have never in my life worn an outfit I love, felt confident in how I look,or chosen an outfit because its the one I want. Every item of clothing has revolved around one thing only...will it show up the sweat? So after nearly 20 years of black, baggy, batwing tops and dresses,I felt almost at my wits end.Looking into botox injections etc.I accidentally came across this product. As many of the other reviews have stated,I never ever thought, with the years of suffering this embarrassing condition that it would be as easy as a little spray. And in all honesty I am still sat here waiting for the sweat to pour from me. But after 4 days of using this,I have not had a single drop of sweat from my armpits. I havnt tried the hands and feet yet,as I want to take one miracle at a time. It sounds so corny but this bottle has potentially changed my life. I have had a little stinging...a little itching...but I really don't care!! Cause after so long with wet clothes and smells and stains its a tiny price to pay to wear what the hell I want!! I stuck religiously to the instructions and usually have slightly sensitive skin, and it stings a bit,but it certainly didn't keep me awake. What has kept me awake is shopping for my first ever colourful dress to wear! I am in the very early stages of this bottle,so all could change, but for now I havnt felt this confident since I was a child. I know that if you are reading this, like me,you will have your reservations, but just give it a go. It is honestly the best money I have ever spent on myself. Sorry for the life story...One happy, dry girl :)

I have always been a sweaty person who burns hot so I even sweat throughout winter, and as soon as I enter a room that is slightly warmer than my previous environment, I instantly begin dripping. It's extremely embarrassing as a waitress, but previous uniforms I have worn have always been black to hide the huge sweat patches that form as I'm running in and out of a hot kitchen carrying heavy trays and plates. I started a new job with a purple shirt for my uniform that, as soon as it gets wet, turns a deep plum colour, making sweat patches unbelievably obvious. It was so embarrassing, and I could sometimes overhear customers comment on my sweat patches, which in turn made me anxious and then sweat more.I tried sweat absorbent pads, I sewed cotton to the arm pits of t-shirts and I would sweat through seven layers onto my shirt. It was hopeless. I didn't smell because I shower twice a day, but regular deodorants were simply not working.Within three days of using Odaban, applying overnight to my arm pits with a cotton pad and washing it off in the morning, I have stopped sweating. To the point where my arm pits are literally bone dry. Normally a complete cynic who doesn't take headache tablets or use many products, I am genuinely stunned. I went for a run in hot weather, and where I would normally soak through the pits of a tshirt, I felt my underarms and they were completely dry, and smell free. I went to work the next day, and where I normally pin my elbows to my sides to hide the patches as much as I could, I was dancing around the kitchen like a loony. I have never felt so free and unashamed to lift my arms above my head. People have even commented on my confidence - I didn't realize my sweat problems were making me feel down.Get this product. It has honestly changed my life. I have even used it on my forehead, top lip and chin and my make-up no longer runs all over the place. I just wish I had this product whilst I was going through puberty!

i thought it might be interesting to hear how this product works for the ladies!i 'suffer' from mild to moderate underarm sweating, particularly in social situations. it had got to the point where it was embarrasing and people were noticing. the clothes i could wear were very limited as only certain colours (mainly black, white) and certain materials managed to hide my sweaty pits. i had to do something about it. i dont like harsh chemicals so i was wary of using odaban but i was left with no choice.first and foremost it definately works - horray! its basically a mega dose of deodrant in one go and it will last you a week. this is great in itself and could happily be used by a 'normal'sweater who only wants to deodorise once a week even if they dont have a sweating problem.the product seems very geared towards men. in the instructions it says men should do 1 spray on each pit whereas women should do 1 spray onto some cotton wool and then wipe on the armpit. what is all that about?! you can tell the product was tested and written up by men because HELLO us women sweat too you know!! i tried the cotton wool thing for a week or 2 and it wasnt anywhere near enough. so i tried 1 spray once a week and still not quite enough. i currently do 2 sprays on each pit once a week and thats spot on. NO smell and NO wetness for a week. fantastic :-D i can now wear what ever tops i want and i dont have to worry about having big wet marks under my arms!the only downside for me is that i dont think its healthy to be putting so much aluminium on my skin. their website says there is no risk of breast cancer or alzeimers from odaban but im not 100% comfortable using it. however, i will continue to use it because its so effective, but i will keep my fingers crossed that they dont tell us in 10 years time that actually it has been linked to this or that disease.

This product is by far the best I have ever came across. After reading into different products and reading many mixed reviews on products like 'Driclor' and other anti-antiperspirants, I decided to give Odaban a go. I am happy to say that Odaban is not a disappointment. With no instruction on how many sprays to apply, my first night was a little uncomfortable. I'd recommend using 2 sprays to each armpit to start with. Any more and it is a risk of the armpit feeling a little uncomfortable during that nights sleep. It isn't enough to wake you from sleep, but it makes drifting off just that little bit more difficult. However, this product does exactly what you want from it. I suffered from terrible sweat patches, even in winter! The amount I used to perspire was enough to make me dislike the summer seasons as my confidence when out in public was massively impacted. But after use of Odaban, the only negative to summer is hayfever! Sweat patches on the underarms are literally a thing of the past. Understandably if you are doing strenuous exercise in the heat then you ARE still going to sweat. But light exercise and you're still in the clear! The only thing to consider, however, is that even though the product is absolutely amazing (and I will recommend to anyone and will be using this product for a very long time) it does NOT completely stop sweating. The targeted areas where the spray is applied will remain dry, but the sweat much still be released somehow.... I have become a custom to sweating a little more in the face than usual. However it is nothing severe, and has no knock on my confidence! To sum up this product, just buy it. One use and you will see for yourself that Odaban does work. I have recommended to many friends, and all have loved it and passed knowledge on!

I'm writing this review as someone with classic hyperhidrosis - I sweat for no reason at all - even in this winter weather - from my underarms. When under stress or excercising, it's also my face, hands and feet. I'm slightly below average weight with a healthy diet and I'm very active. I've tried many different brands of hiperhidrosis antiperspirant, with varying success. I'm glad I decided to give this product a go, it's fantastic! I applied it to the inner third of my underarms with cotton wool as directed, and a few minutes later the tingling started. This wasn't overly uncomfortable, and I slept just fine that night. I washed it off the next morning, and felt fine until that afternoon, when they began tingling again and itching. I had a shower as soon as I got home, but they're still pretty sore and itchy. Fortunately, it has done what it said on the box. After that single appication, I haven't broken a single underarm sweat :) Hopefully it continues to work for me, I'd love to buy some tops without considering the colour or the material! The itching is an unfortunate reaction, but it's a miniscule price to pay for such excellent results.*EDIT* I've had to cease use of this product. I used it 2 nights in a row and then gave it a break to prevent any serious irritation. I began to sweat the day after, so used it again for another 2 nights in a row. On the second night, I woke up to some really nasty stinging, burning and itching in both armpits. I immediately went to the bathroom to wash it off. When I looked at them in the mirror, they were red-raw looking, puffy and sore. They took around 5 days to return to normal. I've since begun to use Driclor, which isn't so effective as this product, but it doesn't singe my armpits away!

I’ve had facial sweating for a couple of years now because of medication. This summer it has been particularly bad so I went on a mission to find a solution. I went down the traditional routes first with makeup and skincare but never had any luck. Then one day whilst I was putting on my underarm deodorant it hit me - antiperspirant for the face. I was initially sceptical and nervous but I was so desperate that I was willing to try anything. With some research I discovered Odaban and decided to try it because of the great reviews. I tested it the night I got it, 30 minutes after I’d applied my skincare and after I’d applied talc to expel moisture. To avoid getting it anywhere near my eyes I just sprayed it on a cotton pad and used that to apply it. Like with many aluminium based antiperspirant it tingles when you put it on. It wasn’t a terrible sensation but it would appear from time to time throughout the next few days if I was beginning to sweat. I have acne prone sensitive skin so the idea of putting something so strong on my face was initially scary but so far I haven’t had a negative reaction. The next day when I woke up I was shocked to find I had a dry face - definitely not the norm. When I applied my makeup I only used a light dusting of powder to set my foundation and I was amazed at the end of the day that it was still there! I didn’t have any sweat whatsoever where I’d applied the Odaban for 4 days. This is literally a life changer for me. I used to always worry about my facial sweating and I couldn’t do anything without being drenched. It made me insecure and avoid situations where people would see me sweat. Now I feel 10 feet taller - I don’t have to worry about my facial sweating and I it’s really changed my life.

I suffer with excessive armpit sweating (certain tops such as viscose and long sleeved T-shirts are an absolute no no) and have tried other products such as Driclor and Perspirex-for me these are agony as being a roll on they apply far too much product and leave me with painful red armpits and I couldn't even lift my arms.As Odaban is a spray it allows you to apply as much or as little as you need-for me with sensitive skin this is only one spray per armpit onto a cotton wool ball and gently dabbed on. I apply talc beforehand to make sure the area is dry (if it's not then the Odaban will react with the moisture and hurt),applying talc also helps me see how much product I have applied as patches of talc disppear.Using such a small amout does mean that it has taken longer for my sweating to be brought under control-I found by trial and error I needed to use it for 2 weeks and then reduce it down. I cannot stress this enough-IF IT HURTS YOU'RE USING TOO MUCH. I also read a review which said they were using 3 sprays and it didn't work-again you are using too much, Odaban advise that you should use it little and frequently to slowly reduce the sweating, if you use too much straight away then it can actually make the problem worse. As I shower at night I find I cannot wash the product off in the mornings as per the instructions but I use Wet Ones instead and this works fine. Only apply the product to the central area of the armpit (where hair grows) and do not use it after shaving or it will hurt! I recommend you shave on non-Odaban days or if you must then shave gently in the morning and you should be OK to apply Odaban at night. The bottle has lasted me for months and will do for many more yet, excellent value.

Well - at first I was cautious of this. I have tried several different approaches to stop my problem. My problem is forehead sweat. Sometimes it takes drinking a cup of tea to set it off, so imagine what its like when im out clubbing with friends - its embarrassing. I bought this product hoping it would arrive before my 6th form ball. It arrived the day of the ball (morning) so after reading the instructions (says only apply at night) i thought what the hell and put a load on. A few hours later i had my ball - now, i was sweating by the end of the night, but no where near as much as i would if i didnt have it, the sweating took slightly more to be activated,so already it was a small success. The past week we have had a heat wave (around 35-30 degrees c and very humid), i have applied it the past 3 (skipped a night as i was drunk) nights, let me make this clear. I have had it a few days. After the second appliance (which was over night) i went to school and it felt as if my head was sweating - i took a feel, and dry as a bone! And since then, it feels like im sweating, but im not! So i am learning to have more confidence in it. I am going out 'round town' clubbing in 5 days, so im hoping for that to be sweat-less! Time will tell.I'm also going on Holiday soon (45*c degree heat) and this is going to be the best thing that's happened to me in years!Thank you so much! My social life has been restored and i dont have to feel so embarrassed now!So in summary - if your thinking of getting this product, dont think! Just buy it! Socially embarrassing sweat is horrible, i know, people laugh in night clubs. This has made everything so much better!

Just a bit of background, I bought this mainly for my hands. I've had sweaty palms for ages, even though I didn't think of it as much of an issue (it didn't affect relationships or stuff like that) but .... since I've been at Uni, for some reason, I've been more self conscious about it, which makes it worse because it happens when I'm tense, in a group situation or have a lot of close contact. It's not dripping off but sometimes significant enough to be unpleasant when shaking someone's hand.I looked at alternative options, it's not that bad that the gland needs to be removed (which seems to cause problems elsewhere when it's done) but the reviews for hands were limited and not always positive.Anyways, to the point. I've been applying it for a week and noticed a difference. At first not much change, but after a few days, I was no longer having sweaty palms. There was a bit of moisture, but it didn't feel wet. My hands at times are now bone dry. Though we are in autumn/winter which helps anyway. In tense situations, I no longer have that build up of sweat, a bit of moisture, yes, but that is a significantly marked improvement. Palms remain more dry, I wonder if the placebo effect also comes into it. It's only been a week but positive signs. Everyone's skin is different but it is working for me. In a month's time, I'll update this review to see how it's going. I haven't tried it anywhere else cause I don't really sweat anywhere else.Just a word of warning: Don't spray more than once (as told) because one night I did a couple and dry skin started to appear but I recommend this product!

i have been suffering from hyperhydrosis for the past nine or ten years. this has really effected my self confidence, i always tried to avoid public interaction because of the embarrassment of my wet underarms. my underarms would sweat like broken dams there was no stopping it. then i searched internet for this problem and came to know that there a few remedies available.hyperhydrosis could be treated by botox injection which is a prolonged treatment.another solution is surgery which i found out that both are very expensive for a student like me. i used a lot of antiperspirant roll on etc. but this didn't helped at all. then i found out that there are a few antiperspirants available which people had very good reviews about it.there is drysol available which is i think the same as odaban but much more expensive because of postal charge because its not available in UK.i am really surprised at how wonderful this product is.odaban really helped me stop my underarm sweating and now i am much more confident in interacting with people than before.another good thing is that your armpits stop bad smell which is due to sweat so you don't have to waste money on all those expensive antiperspirant deodrants.you must not use it even if u have shaven your underarms in the morning because it will still sting you like hell.i think this item should be advertised more than those unworthy antiperspirants.the bottle lasts along time so you dont have to worry about buying another one sooner.i would recommend odaban to any one who is effected with hyperhydrosis. i would use this product in future.
