I purchased the previous version of this product 3 years ago - very satisfied with it but eventually the ridges wore out and the screen would not stay in its position when, say, rested on one's knee when one's legs are crossed. I found this to be potentially dangerous as it sometimes happened whilst also enjoying a hot drink.But I really loved the design and I see that Targus have refined their product so I've just taken early stock of this one - arrived yesterday.Straight away I can tell the ridges on this one are a bit more pronounced. Also the material the ridges are on is of a better quality and I reckon these ridges will last longer.

I desperately needed to replace my iPad Air 2 case. Ordered this one and fully expected to hate it but I was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly it is bulkier than my previous Speck DuraFolio but that’s no longer available so I went for this one instead as it is also tested to the same military drop test standard (a must in my house with 3 kids). This case can also rotate to stand sturdily in portrait. I love how the groves on the case are very deep so the iPad really does stand very sturdily. The biggest surprise though was that it sleeps and wakes my iPad Air 2. It wasn’t listed as a function on the listing or on the packaging so I was very surprised to find it has the Sleep/wake function like my old case.

What a great fit on my new iPad Mini 4, we already owned the red/black version on my wifes iPad Mini 2, my real leather one that I puchased from here didnt last long as the corners of the plastic housing to hold ipad cracked and gave way after a couple of months.The case has great protection and can be turned 360 Deg if required and the part that holds the ipad is soft but firm type rubber that fits snugg, I had to knock a star off becaue it does not have sleep function for iPad Mini 4 but does on all others, it did state this so not too bothered.Hope this review helps and if so a thumbs up would be welcome

I had 2 cheaper covers for my iPad mini 2 before this. They were light weight, slim and worked very well. Unfortunately they both had rubber/plastic fatigue where they gripped the rim of the iPad. So I gave in and forked out for this. You definitely get value for money. It's just as versatile but way more sturdy than the previous covers. The only downside being it's much more bulky! I won't be slipping this in my coat pocket! That being said it provides robust protection for the tablet and sits comfortably in a variety of positions. Could do with being cheaper.

I have had the original apple smart case for my iPad mini 3 since I bought it around 5 years ago. It was on it's last legs and wasn't holding the iPad properly anymore. I am very please with this replacement. It is great quality and I have been surprised at how proud I am for getting this case. It provides better protection than the original Apple case. It is worth the buy.

This is a quality product. Well finished with attractive material. It acts as a stand and as it swivels, can be stood up in portrait or landscape and the angle of view is adjustable. It’s expensive but it shows in the product. One thing - it is quite hard to get it clipped into the case, but once in it feels very secure and well protected.Very pleased with this case.

So pleased to have discovered a truly practical and protective mini iPad case. My daughter has broken her iPad screen 3 times insisting on fashionable cases. Now I get to dictate the case, I won't be replacing the screen again; also she'll struggle to take it off because it's a tight fit.

Protects the iPad Mini very well but it is bulkier and heavier than cheaper cases (you can’t have it both ways). Nevertheless, it is versatile and makes it easy to hold and use the iPad in all situations (at home, travelling, typing, playing games etc).

I had made the choice to this purchase of Targus based on the previous similar case for my older iPad and I was happy then and I'm just as happy now as I was then. I highly recommend it to anyone that thinks seriously of protecting their valued iPad.

This iPad case was a fraction of the price of the black identical case but even better! It’s well made, solid and has protected my iPad from crops for many weeks now and shows no sign of wear and tear. I would recommend.

Fits the other halfves ipad mini like a glove. The rotating aspect is a great feature as some games are landscape and others are portrait. Nice standard. Not flimsy

Looks really smart and feels nice. Good to have the choice of portrait and landscape orientation, although there is only one usable angle when in portrait.
