I got a bunch of non-Apple covers for my new iPad - generally they really are so much cheaper than the real thing that why not? But when I saw that this Stilgut case was leather I thought it would be that bit more like a real Apple case, giving me that little bit more credibility in meetings.This case arrives in a flashy black and white cardboard sleeve with a metallic Stilgut logo and strapline at the top, above a big transparent rigid plastic window - given that this is an online purchase it's a pity that Stilgut feel the need to package the product in the kind of single-use plastic that you usually get in high-street retail environments.The case is in two parts - a rigid transparent plasticback that has a frosted finish - I guess this makes the back of your iPad look a bit less finger-printy. Attached to the back by a stuck on strip the leather front of the the case wraps around the side. The front is then a standard two-fold system that gives you some permutations of standing your iPad up, resting it on a table, or protecting the screen. Your iPad switches on when you open the cover so I guess it has the required magnets to enable it to do this.The back of the leather cover is a kind of grey flock material, and feels quite nice when you rub it.The only real downside in terms of fit and finish is that when the cover is closed it moves quite a lot in relation to your iPad screen - it would be nice if it were tighter.I'm willing to accept that the black front of this case is indeed leather, although it doesn't really have the expected smell. It's got a nice, small silver Stilgut logo in the lower left corner.Given that you can get a similar non-leather case for under half this price, unless this case is heavily discounted it's hard to get too excited by it - it's nice, but not amazing.

The Stilgut leather folio fits my nieces iPad just fine; the camera and switches are all accessible. The plastic cover on the back is nice and rigid and clipped onto her iPad first time. The "leather" case on the front is very plastic. It doesnt feel any worse than an apple smart cover which is awful for its price. For this price; Im not complaining about the Plastic leather. The lid does have magnets on both sides that hold strong on your iPad (when shaking) which should keep it connected to the screen whilst in your bag. It doesnt seem to have magnets that hold the case in place when you fold it up its 3 sections to make it a stand.it sort of works but relying on the weight of the iPad feels flimsy.For my niece if it were a cheerier color it would have been just the ticket. The plastic tray at the back and the flip case on the front it provides protection in your bag. If you want to hold your device the lid folds back easily without you having to hold your iPad the lid flapping down. Using it as a stand isnt great; it works ok with the device off the table to watch Netflix; using it as a tilt to make typing easier is a non starter. A few more magnets and both of those would be better.

brilliant lightweight case that also accommodates and charges the apple pen. It is excellent value for money and I haven’t give more stars for durability fits perfectly and pen slot really nice, either way its recognised and charges. Hole for pen in upright mode nice touch. not prepared to drop it but looks like it might take an impact. grippy rubber feel is perfect for holding and propping up. Nearly sent it back when i noticed a cheaper version but realised its a different model, its worth the extra, that said its a lot for a bit of rubber but a bargain compared to apple stuff as I haven’t had this for long though it seems well constructed and no reason to doubt it.One thing I would like to see is a slightly larger slot for the charger cable, it readily takes the apple cable but not some other more robust cables. made case with all-round protection for my iPad Pro 11". Holds the Apple Pencil in a well-fitting slot on the side of the case, and this slot is also protected all-round, and allows the Pencil to charge from the iPad as it should do.

Need to keep your iPad Pro protected and covered when not used. This is the choice I made. It is a very clean design not far from the original design by Apple - with nice little details.Made from genuine leather and a back made of transparent plastic, perfect because that is exactly how I wanted it. Leather and transparent back, protection all the way around. It fits perfectly tight like a glove. All the cut out for the camera, speaker, charger align perfectly.Open the cover like a book and your iPad Pro wakes and sleeps when it is closed.The leather cover can be used to hold the iPad Pro up, landscape ways like a keyboard or a desk picture frame. Take a look at the picures on the webpage,you'll know what I mean.I still wouldn't want to drop my iPad Pro even though it's in this protective case and still I am very careful.A great case which will keep your iPad Pro looking new for longer.

At over twenty-five pounds currently from Amazon this leather case for the iPad Pro 11 by StilGut is one of the more expensive third-party cases available. The case features a black leather front section with a transparent plastic back to show the iPad's Apple logo and text and it fits my son's iPad Pro 11 perfectly. Although less expensive than Apple's own case this good quality version by StilGut fits well with all the cut-outs and features working as they should – the case also doubles up as a stand with the tri-fold design of the cover allowing it to be folded correctly. There are a lot of other iPad cases available but this attractive and nicely made case by StilGut is well worth consideringif you want a good product at a reasonable price – nothing not to like really and it gets four stars for what you get for your money.

For the record the ne that arrived for me to test does fit my 2019 iPad 10.2 perfectly with all buttons, camera and holes in the slots within the case. I may question the price is a little high compared to competitors but the case is perfect for the job it was designed to do. I love the clear back letting you see the ipad’s colour and logo from the back and the sleep/wake function is always welcome.Holding it upside down and he front would easily flop opening, the magnet isn’t hugely strong meaning the front can easily move around when you have in in hand. The case will also stick to the back however again the magnets are weak allowing the case to move around in your hands.The case is best when using it as a stand.The case is lightweight and adds no balk to the ipad and seems to be well made.

You get a German made case for £25 in black leather.The case fits as expected. Easy to put on. The case has a real leather front which is a great feel. The iPad back is on show with a transparent case for scratch protection.There is a magnet to keep it shut. But I would be careful that if you drop it from above the waist the magnets might not hold and you can bet it will land face down and crack your screen. So beware if you are prone to dropping stuff, and if you are then you may want better protection that this.The case can be used as a stand. There is a slot for your Apple Pencil.Good value for a smart real leather case, but it is more for style than ultimate protection.

Well made & light iPad cover that's easily installed and fits quite snugly on the new 2019 10.2 iPad.The back is hard clear plastic to protect the back.The magnets are well placed to automatically turn on and off the iPad when the cover is opened and closed.The cover when folded its stand firmly & solid in its position. I've had others that didn't do that. The interior of the cover is soft material to protect the screen when closed, but I use a glass screen protector to for protection to.The product is good, but the price is a bit expensive when there are similar products out there for the fraction of the price.

I like the case, it fits well onto the iPad, no issues getting it on. The quality is nice, it feels well made, sturdy and I have used it for a couple weeks now, everyday and it's not broken or torn in any of the places. It looks nice, is practical and suits its purpose. The only issue I have is the inflated price and I think although it's a great product it's not great value for money due to the high price tag! Price: (£24.90 February 2020).

This is an ultra Smart Cover for 2019 iPad. All the cut outs are in the right place, it’s lightweight, looks and feels substantial and provides excellent protection for the iPad. It has classic looks. It’s understated but feels and looks good. Lightning lead fits easily as does audio jack.The folding back is easy to use and doesn’t collapse at the slightest move. With care, I reckon it’ll last well and I like it.

Quality satisfactory. Lightweight, fits well and offers some degree of protection from scratches and other possible minor damage. Satisfactory as an everyday case to use in situations not likely to need more heavy duty protection. Currently using it around the home only and plan to get a more heavy duty case for when my daughter takes her iPad pro to college.

Finally, a good case for the iPad Pro 11inch (the first iteration of the iPad without a home button)The fit is perfect.It’s really light.It looks so good.The semi transparent back actually looks really classy.I love the texture.I don't like using it for very long, though, it gets annoying, but it's easy to remove at least.

This is a very nice case that fits my iPad 11 pro perfect but the leather is a bit thin and the plastic is a bit flimsy. I am not sure it’s worth this high price tag weather it’s leather or not. It looks very nice but so do a lot of cheaper ones. I think the price needs to be a little lower but I still think it’s worth 4 stars.

Very simple and useful case. Not a show stopper in the looks department but its cheap and it works ! Has the 3 fold front cover which will turn it into a stand on side view. Semi clear black back case so you can see the apple logo through it. Its good ! and has a good price to match !

Lovely design and very qualitative case!It is durable , easy to use and comfortable.The screen turns on automatically when the lid is open and turns off when the lid is closed.I love it is also a great value for money!Reccomend it!
