This is an amazing game for ALL the family. The turn dynamic is quite unique but does mean that turns can be played simultaneously (once you've got to grips, AND trust your fellow players!) meaning the length of the game can be shortened. We play with 2 adults, 9 and 12 year old, despite it saying 14+. As long as younger players are logical thinkers with some experience of more complex Euro type board games they will be fine. Because of the seemingly limitless combinations of the machines you build, replayability is high too.There is enough sheer luck over tactical thinking to make the game very close and suits mixed age ranges. Of course, it does help if you have a logical approach to building your machine.This game is on the expensive side,

Bought this for my son who really enjoys playing board games. He specifically asked for this one and loves it. There are a lot of elements to this game which does take a while to understand but once you have got to grips with the rules it's great fun to play
